Renee had helped us organize 2nd birthday party of our twins last year in our backyard and it went amazingly well! She worked with us close to a month before the event to plan this and specially gave us options for vendors based on our needs. She came in early with her assistant to get the floor for the baby shark theme ready and help us setup the tables, and contact the vendors and talk to them for the event coordination. We had the food vendor, puppet show host and the balloon guy and with Renee around it was so nice and relaxing as we didn't have to worry on those and spend great time with our kids and the guests. Renee did an excellent job of setting up the decor for my friend's baby shower. She is very organized in drawing the contract which helped me in understanding the pricing better. Few days before the event, she came over to inspect the event location in order to make sure that the backdrop is placed in the best spot. Renee was much more professional than a lot of the other event planners I reached out to on Yelp which I found incredibly helpful. She came in with great ideas and made sure to incorporate my vision of the picnic. I mentioned teal was the bride's favorite color and Renee did an amazing job with all of the thoughtful, seasonal touches. Our group was beyond impressed! The lights and throw blankets at night were definitely something to remember. Would be more than happy to work with Renee again. I think my only suggestion next time is that the grand total be more in line with the initial quote, or the change in price be communicated. We were more than happy to accommodate for the additional details, but it would have been nice to understand the 50% increase. This was extremely useful for us as we were hosting such an event for the first time. * She took detailed photographs of our backyard (venue) which made ideation and brainstorming very easy over the phone. * We felt a part of the process all the way through as Renee was very open and receptive to our ideas and feedback. * Renee is upfront about the prices and is open to moving and changing things around as per the budget. * Renee ensures that she is available for her clients. Never ever did it happen once that we were left waiting for a phone call. * Renee likes to plan for details to avoid surprises on the day of the event. Execution * Renee was present herself on the day of the event. She oversaw each detail. * Renee was very cordial with the guests - adults and kids. She interacted very politely with everyone, kept everyone engaged and was able to push (when required) to keep the event moving. For my sister's baby shower I sent her a couple inspiration photos and she was able to give us an overall quote as well as a breakdown of the cost of each part so we could choose what we would want and remove. She showed up within the set up window and had everything set up well before any guest arrived. On time for clean up as well so we didn't have to wait around. Only mishap was not on her, the baker who made cookies accidentally followed the inspo pic exactly and made them light green instead of our theme color which was light blue. Renee was quick to let me know what had happened and offered some extra decorations to make up for it. The cookies still turned out amazing and the extra decorations really added to the party. That's the customer service I love, quick to let us know if something will not occur as planned and she was able to make it up in a way that made us feel good about the overall service.
