I swear the God, this place is the worst now. It must be closed. Also, they hold the seekh kabobs in their bare hands (without gloves). You are not supposed to touch the food with bare hands, but they even HOLD seekh kabobs in both hands (one by one), and then put them on the plate.

Super oily, meat was terrible quality and it tasted like crap. As a nihari lover, I was greatly disappointed. But their beef bihari kababs are amazing!! Sooo yummy! We also love their biryani and karahi. We have had issues a couple times with getting the wrong dish. But they are very willing to acknowledge and rectify any issues. That's why we keep coming back. They seem to care about their customers and have always made up for any issues we experienced. For example, one of the dishes I ordered last time was the mild Daal Makhani (for a toddler) and instead, we got spicy Chana Masala. I called them and the person I spoke to quickly apologized for the error and gave us credit for a free daal makhani next time. Also, to make up for the terrible nihari we got last time, they gave us a free chicken entree. That's amazing customer service in my opinion!

This is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. I've been here three times and my…read moreexperience just kept getting worse each time. The first time I came here was for dinner with my family and we all got food poisoning the next day and this was the only meal we had together that day. The second time was even worse, it's probably the worst service I've ever received. We sat down at a table by ourselves because there was no host or any staff. A server came out and saw us and gave us menus and water but then, he just disappeared. Half an hour later, another staff member came out and sat at the front desk. We waved at her to get our server and she said he'll be right back. I don't know what could have been keeping him busy since we were the only people there. Then when he finally came out, five mins later, he proceeded to talk with the other staff member instead of checking on us. We just left the restaurant and neither of them said anything. The third time (because I never learn) I came here was for the lunch buffet. It was again, completely empty except for my family and me. The host did seat us this time and was very polite. We went to try the buffet, a few of the food items were missing (like it wasn't ready to serve) and the kitchen staff was bringing them out as we went up to get our food. The food was mediocre at best but thankfully none of us got seriously sick this time. Although, we did have some stomach problems later that day. It was probably the best experience I've had here but that's because I set the bar so low for this place that it made me surprised to have a mostly normal dining experience. After three times of being disappointed at this restaurant, I will never go back here again.

The buffet contains various curries, rice, chicken biryani, salads, tandoori chicken legs, etc. The buffet doesn't include any kabobs though. Everything is kept on a buffet table (similar to a cafeteria-style one) with plastic lids keeping everything warm. The food is definitely done in a very homestyle-like manner. I didn't think the foods offered through the buffet were quite spicy or anything. If anything very homestyle (tasty with a chicken curry that had meat on the bone) and mild on the spice flavorings. I really enjoyed eating the yellow daal.

"I can't wait to come back here." - my father, after our lunch here…read more Saw signs promoting Mirchi popping up in the area and I figured I'd try them out. Came in for lunch with my dad and we loved everything about it. The inside has a classy ambiance with plenty of tables and a full bar. We were the first customers, but the place filled up shortly after. I'm of European descent, but I take it as a good sign for a place like this when pretty much all the other clientele appeared to be South Asian. They started us off with a complimentary papadum basket with cilantro-mint chutney and tamarind sauces. Delightful. We ordered two appetizers: Vegetable pakora and chili pepper paneer. The vegetable pakora was interesting. I'm used to a mix of veggies fried in their own way, but these were fritters that seemed to be a mix of onion, potato, and I think zucchini. It worked, especially with the chutneys to top it off. The sizzling paneer was also great - nice and crispy crust with a perfect spicy glaze. I'd get either of these again. For the mains, we got Chicken Korma and Malai Kofta. When our waiter asked for our spice preference, we both said medium. I think medium was perfect, even though I'm used to a mild Malai Kofta. I think it was my father's upper spice limit, but he loved his Korma. Both sauces were easy to mop up with some butter naan. Even a simple cup of masala tea was memorable - perfect amount of spices and milk to mellow them out. Would drink this again. Our waiter was attentive but gave us space to enjoy the meal and each other's company without frequent interruption. According to our waiter, they have lunch buffets on the weekend only. He added that Sunday is the bigger day of the two. Maybe I'll come back one of those days to sample more of the variety of offerings. Wouldn't change a thing. Great experience. Definitely recommend.

The chicken lollipop is a nice touch, but not as flavorful. The mirchi (fried pepper) was crunchy and bland, better with chutneys. Variety of North and South Asian dishes available.
