Kabobs are good. I wanted to go food. Got a plate knife and fork. And the place needed some cleaning. But the food is good.

Red meat mix

Food: Red meat mix - 8/10 Chicken shawarma 9/10 I have a lot of army friends say that this restaurant serves the best chicken shawarma so i had to give it a try. The chicken shawarma was so good i had to call the restaurant back to let them know! Service: That night was pretty packed, called in about 20 mins before heading to the restaurant then had to wait 45 mins. But the owner was very nice and apologized for the wait. He offered 2 drinks on the house which was very delicious! (Calypso drinks) Would i come again? Yes!

Huge Naan.

If you're in the mood for kababs, Kabab Villa has you covered. The family and I got a few items to try out. First off, naan. Yes, naan. It's huge, approaching the size of a lavash loaf. It covered a plate. This was great for mopping up sauce. The spinach puree was really good, nice and rich. Perfect with naan and/or rice. Would get again. Of the kababs, it's mostly meat (though I think they have a vegetarian option on the lunch menu). The beef and chicken were fine. Nothing spectacular, but still good. The real winners were the lamb (shish kebab) and the chicken koubideh. The koubideh is ground meat mixed with spices, and it really makes for a supremely tender and flavorful kebab. Lamb is good on its own, but this was particularly well-seasoned too. Add a bunch of rice and a side salad and you've got a filling meal. Prices are decent and prep time is reasonable. Would come back.

This restaurant was very close to our hotel so we decided to order takeout for dinner after reviewing the menu. Both hubby and I ordered the Double Beef Koubideh which was good. Prices seem to have increased a bit from what was on their website.

Kabab Villa is an outstanding restaurant. I ordered a lamb and beef kabab platter, as well as their dish called the crazy chicken. The meals came with a basket of fresh flat bread that could easily feed several people. Each platter consisted of huge portions of meat, flavored rice and fresh vegetables. The staff at the restaurant went above-and-beyond to ensure you had what you needed, as well as provided exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

***Update: I am sad to say that I am decreasing my review. The prices have increased, portions have decreased, and the quality isn't as good as it was. My favorite dish remains to be the butter chicken curry, but it was thinner than usual. The food was still good but we paid $76 for takeout for three people. This seems really steep. I doubt we will be back now. Unfortunate!

Chickpeas and naan

I could live off of the chickpeas and naan- so good! The naan is fluffy and perfectly toasty. The staff are always kind. I'm not in this part of town often, but when I am this is a great stop.

It's my first time here. I have tried 4 dishes: - Beef Kubideh Kabab - Beef Chapli Kabab - Chicken Kubideh Kabab - Lamb Shish Kabab All of them are so tasty. The food portion is good with the reasonable price. Me and my boyfriend did really enjoy our food so much. I will be back for sure.

Crazy Chicken

One of the best restaurants in the Catonsville/Woodlawn area. When I have to go to the office this is my go to place for lunch. All of the food is fresh and seasoned to perfection. I always get the crazy chicken and the curry chic peas. Check it out if you haven't you won't be disappointed.

Kidding, because my friend and I were treated as if we were royalty, wearing nothing but the finest of finery. We were there just before noon on a Tuesday, not the busiest lunch of the day in every restaurant I know. But this place is enormous, so I imagine they could have accommodated two very easily, regardless. Everything was absolutely spotless, gleaming and shining - there are photos of dining there, but even in daylight, it had a beauty seen in the finest restaurants. The service was absolutely perfection - as a former wait person, I'm picky ;) Richard was there when we needed anything and left us alone to gab when we didn't. And of course, the food. The FOOD! Seriously, best Greek food I've had in years and years. I chose the lunch gyro pita, which was overflowing with tender, perfectly spiced gyro meat, with just the right balance of tomatos, onions and feta cheese. Coulda been more tzatziki but I am kind of an addict to that stuff, so it was probably just the right amount. ;) I also ordered the fasolakia (green beans simmered in tomato sauce, but that doesn't begin to explain the complex mix of flavors and textures!) So delicious, with the beans still crispy tender, and a hint of cinnamon which I dont' recall having in this dish before. It was amazing! They serve every platter, sandwich and pita with a very hefty serving of giant steak fries. They had a nice seasoning but were more like house fries. In other places, "Greek fries" had a drizzle of oil and crumbled feta so I wasn't expecting these. But yum! Good enough to bring some home, because the air fryer will make them terrific again. In all, I was so delighted and really wish this wasn't such an out of the way place from home. I definitely will come back, despite that, because there are so many dishes I want to try. As others mentioned, lots of free parking but here's a quick word of caution if you use GPS to get here. When you exit from MD100 onto Executive Park, it will tell you to take the first left but DON'T DO IT! That's the M&T Bank parking lot. Go just a tad bit farther and don't be surprised by having to look a little because it's so like a business park.

I would say this is more of a 3.5, rather than a 4 star review, continue reading ... The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and out, with blue lights throughout. We loved that! We sat outside and were happy that the patio area wasn't very hot and that the nice large umbrellas protected us from the sun and were lit up when it got dark. We started with Saganaki, which included pita. It was flambed table side and delicious, we all loved it. We also had Calamari, I don't eat it but husband and daughter really enjoyed it. For entrees, husband had the special (filet mignon w/crab cake and shrimp on top), that came with mash potatoes and veggies. The steak was good but undercooked, the crab cake was good. Daughter had the pasta, she didn't really love it. I had the lamb shank with orzo. I don't usually like lamb but it was very tender and didn't have the aftertaste that usually comes with lamb. The service was very good, waiter was very attentive, replenished waters often and made good suggestions. Although we liked the restaurant, we felt that as a Greek restaurant there should be more Greek styled pork, chicken dishes. We also felt that some items were overpriced, specialty dish was $75, rib eye was $68, lamb shank was $55, roasted chicken was $39, etc. We will not return for another dinner, but might consider going for lunch to get gyros and Saganaki.

Loud pop music greets you as you walk in. Zauq is to the right. It seemed like a lot of folks were picking up classic American fare: wings, onion rings, other chicken dishes, but I was coming for some Halal food. I got a large rice platter with mixed chicken and lamb. The shredded chicken was okay; could have used more seasoning or something, but that's why they give you white and/or red sauce. The lamb was basically cubed gyro meat, which I enjoyed; I would get a platter of just this next time. You can add as many toppings as you'd like, including onion, lettuce, tomato, chickpeas, pickles, and hot peppers. Make it what you want. For $9.99 (as of 2025), that's a bargain for the amount of food you get. Overall it tasted pretty good. I think if I come back I'm going to try out the falafel and/or the fried chicken sandwiches. The folks are friendly and fast. The whole place, staff and clientele, seemed to be a melting pot of every ethnic group imaginable - Woodlawn baby, gotta love it. There's a Shahada posted above the counter in both Arabic and English, but the food is for everyone and I'm here to say, it's solid. You won't be disappointed.

This past Sunday some friends and I met for dinner on the last day of Restaurant Week! We made a reservation and so glad we did. They open at 5 and it got packed very quickly. Since it was Restaurant Week, that was the only menu available. That was fine with us. They had great options and at $45 for 3 courses, it was a steal. Some items had a slight upgrade, but still not bad. They also included an optional $30 wine pairing (3 different wines - 1 per course). I had the salad and it was good and filling. I didn't want to finish it because I still had two more courses to go. The smoked and roasted chicken for my entree was delicious. The sides accompanied the dish really well. Finally, the blood orange upside down cake was yummy. Everyone else got the sweet potato pie. I'm not big on pies! I had to get my favorite cocktail, "Tilted Word." I can't speak on the customer service because I didn't talk to anyone. I ordered at the kiosk and they called my number and that was it. I paid $19.45 for my meal. I order a side of falafels (3) and the street bowl with beef flank, tzatziki, and mild red pepper sauce. The falafels were way too crispy. I feel like compared to other falafels I've tried these were on the hard side. Thankfully I had some tzatziki sauce to dip them in, if I didn't, they would have been a little hard to eat. The flavor was okay but the texture was not appealing. I really wanted to get beef shawarma but they were out so I opted for the beef flank. I wish I would have just gotten chicken instead. The bowl came with rice and a lettuce salad that was underneath the beef. I'm not sure if the lettuce had arugula in it as well, but the lettuce gave sort of a bitter taste which I did not care for at all. Did not taste good so I would add a lot of tzatziki sauce to it to cut down on the bitter taste. The beef was okay, nothing to rave about. I was just very underwhelmed with my food. Not sure if I would give it a try again. If so, I would definitely get something else or build my own bowl maybe. Try it for yourself and see how you like it.

From the attentive servers, to owners coming out to chat and share their stories, the service was excellent. There isn't much I would change from what they're doing right now. My server was fully attentive even with a packed house. She helped us make the right choices based on our vegetarian diet. Setting (0.25/1) - Perhaps because we were placed in the middle of the hallway and I was facing the doors to the kitchen, I didn't have a great view overall. If they had extended the dividers, I would have felt a bit more cozy and special. Other tables may have a different perception on this but I didn't get a different table so... Drinks (0.5/1) - I really can't say much about this. My drink was just okay okay. In hindsight I should have picked a wine or beer but all the special drinks I initially selected were "not available" so I had to go with some just off the top. To provide a special drinks menu but not have half of it available was disappointing. Food (1/2) - The good - lots of vegetarian options. The bad - they lacked flavor and seasoning. Their best food for me was their pita and hummus. Chef's special pita isn't worth the "upgrade" in my opinion as just the pita and hummus can deliver. Second, the falafel are amazing. They were fresh, flavor packed, and crunchy yet delicate inside. But that's where the good parts end. Rest of my adventures from their menu were letting me down. Like the side fries were just too oily, or the Moussaka lacking proper seasoning. The grape leaves or the crispy cheese puffs, most were just salty. After trying 7-8 different items, only two seemed unique in flavor profile. This place has lots of potential, the people are nice, and they have great options for vegetarians. I'd like to see them improve a bit more on their offerings so I can give it another try.
