I'm of European descent, but I take it as a good sign for a place like this when pretty much all the other clientele appeared to be South Asian. They started us off with a complimentary papadum basket with cilantro-mint chutney and tamarind sauces. Delightful. We ordered two appetizers: Vegetable pakora and chili pepper paneer. The vegetable pakora was interesting. I'm used to a mix of veggies fried in their own way, but these were fritters that seemed to be a mix of onion, potato, and I think zucchini. It worked, especially with the chutneys to top it off. The sizzling paneer was also great - nice and crispy crust with a perfect spicy glaze. I'd get either of these again. For the mains, we got Chicken Korma and Malai Kofta. When our waiter asked for our spice preference, we both said medium. I think medium was perfect, even though I'm used to a mild Malai Kofta. I think it was my father's upper spice limit, but he loved his Korma. Both sauces were easy to mop up with some butter naan. Even a simple cup of masala tea was memorable - perfect amount of spices and milk to mellow them out. Would drink this again. Our waiter was attentive but gave us space to enjoy the meal and each other's company without frequent interruption. According to our waiter, they have lunch buffets on the weekend only. He added that Sunday is the bigger day of the two. Maybe I'll come back one of those days to sample more of the variety of offerings. Wouldn't change a thing. Great experience. Definitely recommend.
