First time there ! They had food buffet variety of different dishes including sweets . From Chinese to Pakistani dish! Food quality was excellent! Prices were reasonable and and service was amazing!! I must say customer service was excellent. The cashier walked with us and showed us the way to the buffet and offered us free samples before we start eating, and welcomed us! At the end they made us fresh kabobs and didn't charge us for the Kabob they also offered a home dish they made which I loved!! I highly highly recommend this place. Great for catering and all sorts of occasions like (Weddings and birthdays) I highly recommend this place! Great with families and friends !!!

Amazing food, fantastic variety. We had everything from the classic Mac and cheese, southern fried chicken, orange chicken, fried rice to paya and biryani. The breads were amazing, choice between naan and Puri. All the food was hot and fresh. Four stars as the place lacks an ambiance .

It was the worst food I ever had in my life there was a bug in my soup and the customer service was ridiculously unprofessional I would not recommend anyone going to this restaurant. We drove from Virginia to Maryland because we heard so many great things about this restaurant by the time we got there we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes just to be seated the waiter brought the drink and the total was flat basically was water down the food was cold and tasteless I am preparing some soup which I found mosquito in there try to explain to the hostess of the situation she just kind of walked away from us

Flies throughout the entire window... no one seems to car

They had about 8 rows of food and a separate BBQ Grill section where the chicken tandoori, bihari chicken (best dish), and seekh kebab's were made along with the naans.

The outside doesn't suggest much, but there is a decent amount of space inside. I ordered takeout, but there was a huge family that filled several tables. The folks at the counter seemed busy, but they got to me after a minute to get me my food. Food - despite the name, this is not what I would call a barbecue takeout place. It is a Pakistani restaurant that is meat-forward, but not exclusively meat dishes. We went for the Mixed BBQ, which had plenty of meat for at least two hungry people, but my wife and two of our children had plenty for dinner one night and lunch the next day. The kebab was nicely spiced ground meat and it was decent on its own but also nice with a spicy green sauce. The chicken tikka was solid. There were also some heavily spiced ground beef patties. Child #1 is vegetarian and got a Lahori Chana and a Palak Paneer. The Chana was pretty standard, nicely spiced chickpeas. The palak paneer was solid with a nice blend of warm spices, but I wouldn't call it spicy. We also tried out an order of Chicken Tikka Masala. It wasn't as bright or creamy as I've gotten at other Indian or Pakistani places. It was still tasty though. A variety of breads to mop it all up, and it was a solid meal.

Super oily, meat was terrible quality and it tasted like crap. As a nihari lover, I was greatly disappointed. But their beef bihari kababs are amazing!! Sooo yummy! We also love their biryani and karahi. We have had issues a couple times with getting the wrong dish. But they are very willing to acknowledge and rectify any issues. That's why we keep coming back. They seem to care about their customers and have always made up for any issues we experienced. For example, one of the dishes I ordered last time was the mild Daal Makhani (for a toddler) and instead, we got spicy Chana Masala. I called them and the person I spoke to quickly apologized for the error and gave us credit for a free daal makhani next time. Also, to make up for the terrible nihari we got last time, they gave us a free chicken entree. That's amazing customer service in my opinion!

I swear the God, this place is the worst now. It must be closed. Also, they hold the seekh kabobs in their bare hands (without gloves). The first time I came here was for dinner with my family and we all got food poisoning the next day and this was the only meal we had together that day. The second time was even worse, it's probably the worst service I've ever received. We sat down at a table by ourselves because there was no host or any staff. A server came out and saw us and gave us menus and water but then, he just disappeared. Half an hour later, another staff member came out and sat at the front desk. We waved at her to get our server and she said he'll be right back. I don't know what could have been keeping him busy since we were the only people there. Then when he finally came out, five mins later, he proceeded to talk with the other staff member instead of checking on us. We just left the restaurant and neither of them said anything. The third time (because I never learn) I came here was for the lunch buffet. It was again, completely empty except for my family and me. The host did seat us this time and was very polite. We went to try the buffet, a few of the food items were missing (like it wasn't ready to serve) and the kitchen staff was bringing them out as we went up to get our food. The food was mediocre at best but thankfully none of us got seriously sick this time. Although, we did have some stomach problems later that day. It was probably the best experience I've had here but that's because I set the bar so low for this place that it made me surprised to have a mostly normal dining experience. After three times of being disappointed at this restaurant, I will never go back here again.

The buffet contains various curries, rice, chicken biryani, salads, tandoori chicken legs, etc. The buffet doesn't include any kabobs though. Everything is kept on a buffet table (similar to a cafeteria-style one) with plastic lids keeping everything warm. The food is definitely done in a very homestyle-like manner. I didn't think the foods offered through the buffet were quite spicy or anything. If anything very homestyle (tasty with a chicken curry that had meat on the bone) and mild on the spice flavorings. I really enjoyed eating the yellow daal.

Loud pop music greets you as you walk in. Zauq is to the right. It seemed like a lot of folks were picking up classic American fare: wings, onion rings, other chicken dishes, but I was coming for some Halal food. I got a large rice platter with mixed chicken and lamb. The shredded chicken was okay; could have used more seasoning or something, but that's why they give you white and/or red sauce. The lamb was basically cubed gyro meat, which I enjoyed; I would get a platter of just this next time. You can add as many toppings as you'd like, including onion, lettuce, tomato, chickpeas, pickles, and hot peppers. Make it what you want. For $9.99 (as of 2025), that's a bargain for the amount of food you get. Overall it tasted pretty good. I think if I come back I'm going to try out the falafel and/or the fried chicken sandwiches. The folks are friendly and fast. The whole place, staff and clientele, seemed to be a melting pot of every ethnic group imaginable - Woodlawn baby, gotta love it.
