They had arcade games, food bar, and plenty of seating. Our only complaint, and it's a very minor one that we hope they fix, is the air hockey table was broken. This is a very cool place and we definitely plan on coming back!

The place is pretty easy to find though it is unlikely you'd just happen to drive by it, as it is kind of not on the beaten path. You can purchase everything ahead of time in terms of skate rentals and entry. It's pretty reasonable for one session mid-afternoon until close in the evening, you just need one entrance ticket/fee paid. You get your money's worth for sure if you are there for hours! You can bring your own skates or rent skates here- they have regular roller skates and roller blades. Both of these are in whole sizes, no half sizes, and both of them would be best on your feet with high socks that go to your lower calves, at least. Tying them tightly gives you the best skating, but that also pinches into skin if you don't have the right socks. They have an area for parties that includes a few arcade games, but mostly, you're there to skate. There are people there who are serious skaters going wicked fast and throwing some cool tricks, but we never felt bad in any way for not being one of the super talented skaters. There's a snack bar, too, with your classic fare like burgers, hot dogs, nachos, fries and funnel cake fries. Yummy snack junk food that makes the experience all the more reminiscent of young carefree days! They have lockers for your stuff, some don't even lock, but no one seemed concerned. There are benches for sitting and changing out your shoes to skates and vice versa, and people tend to just stash their shoes under the benches rather than get a locker. A good time all around and pretty affordable if you're there for a while!

It is fun to attend Stevenson hockey games here, as well. And, it is nice with the turf option for local leagues, like Reisterstown Baseball. The rink is always fairly clean and the staff are friendly. I wish they would re-open the snack bar and have skate sharpening, but otherwise, Reisterstown Sportsplex has, and always will be, a second home to me.

I started skating again after being off the ice for years because of work and caregiving. I lost everything and I'm trying to get everything back. Slowly I'm getting things back. No coin- operated lockers were there when I went to the rink in 2020. There was no designated waiting area besides the parking lot in 2020. No pro shop with a qualified, experienced figure skate technician in 2020. Hope the rink has those things it didn't have in 2020.

Came here on the whim because someone posted an event on Yelp for the Nutcracker on Ice! It was the…read morecutest performance I have ever seen. Amateur skaters, as well as skaters whom have competed at National, Sectionals and International events. The show consisted skaters of all ages performing for the crowd at a resonable price of $15/per person. All proceeds go back to the rink for upkeep and providing a space for skaters to practice and perfect their skills. Keep a look out, the Columbia Ice Rink is putting on another performance in March called "Disney Gagnam Style". A show full of Disney characters and princesses on Ice for the entire community to enjoy! I hope you stumble upon this place because it offers a place for indidicuals to be inspired, learn how to skate and encourage a safe and supportive atmosphere. I will most definitely be back in March, just to amuse the inner child in me :)

Both birthday parties we attended came with shoe rentals, two hour bowling, a table setup and pizza. What's good? The bowling. My kids enjoyed their time learning how to bowl. The lanes held up well, no issues with ball returns or pin setup while they bowled. Bumpers were setup and taken down quickly if needed. The workers. They were attentive to the parties and very helpful. The fries. During the second party visit my kids were hungry before the pizza was served. We got a large fry. I thought the fries were pretty good. What's meh? The pizza crust. I'm a total crust guy and the crust they use isn't great. Mad props that they make their own pizzas (or at least put the cheese and pepperoni on themselves. The fry cooking time. They took a while from when they were ordered to when they were done. They were served hot but the wait seemed longer than it should. Can't imagine what it is like if a bunch of people are ordering food.

You MUST now reserve your ticket to skate as well as the type of ice skate that you need. For an Adult, it was $10 to enter and $5 for beginner ice skates , total of $15 (no taxes). Reservation times are every 15 minutes and you should arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for COVID-19 social distancing practices. You must also wear a mask. By Friday we noticed that it was supposed to rain heavily during our scheduled time. I called the business number at 1030A and left a voicemail inquiring about skating in the rain and refund of tickets. I received a call back around 1230p that day (the business opens at 12p) and was told that the ice skating rink does Not close during raining periods because the ice is frozen. If the rain fall is too heavy for skaters to skate safely then they will stop, but that typically has not occurred. My friend and I decided to not skate due to the rain and I was offered a quick and easy refund. Over the phone, I received a text message confirmation that we cancelled our order and I would be refunded. I got the refund back in a few business days (and over a holiday). The business person was really nice and patient to answer my questions and provide a refund. Hopefully one day I will actually make it to skate at this ice skating rink!

We've been a few times and the space is always clean and quiet. There are a few trashcans around, so I recommend bringing an extra bag to tie up trash in since trash cans are few. There's a small lot designated for the park and free on-street parking. The tot lot has a playground and swings. Nothing fancy, but serves its purpose. I haven't seen this area overly crowded. Good option to not fight crowds and a range of age groups. There are no restrooms.
