This felt like a portal to a forgotten age. The only thing missing was 70s and 80s skating music…read more The music here is contemporary r&b and hip-hop. The rest of the atmosphere is very dated. That does not mean unmaintained, quite the opposite. The established looks very clean, and preserved: clean and well repaired. "Preserved", that's the word I would use. And for a child of the 70s and 80s, I could see myself having a Stranger Things party here with the setting already thrown in. We came here for my goddaughter's 7th birthday party. The party was around 30 kids. No problems were had regarding reservations or accommodations. The kids had a blast. The music was pretty loud, on top of a bunch of very vocal 5 to 8 years olds. They even had someone scouting the entrance to facilitate the admission of party guests.

There were some things that I did notice about this skating center. Pros: I loved the cute photo backdrops and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Cons: The music was lackluster because the DJ repeated several songs. The skates were so uncomfortable. My foot developed a blister because the inner soles were so worn down. They definitely need to get need skates. Also, parts of the skating rink floor was warped and unleveled. While I enjoyed my time, I doubt I would come here again.

This is a multi-sport center located in Columbia, which offers mini golf, batting cages, skateboard park, mini arcade, and a mini snack bar. We paid $9.25/person since we were not a CA member. The mini golf course is decently maintained. I found it odd that half the course had water running and half did not in their "stream". Also, many holes had a lot of rock and leaf debris that made it difficult for the ball to roll smoothly and straight. This place is kid-friendly, but we waited anywhere from 5-10 minutes for each hole since it does take some time for kids to hit the ball into the hole. I honestly felt like some parents were rushing their kids or themselves since they felt bad for holding up the line. Overall, the course was nice and a decent place for families to enjoy a day out. One tip: this course is a lot more difficult than other mini golf places we've been to. I would not recommend this for little kids, as it was somewhat frustrating for adults. Some of the holes do not have "walls" and a wrong putt makes the ball go straight into the water. Also, don't park right next to the course. A few kids hit the ball outside of the course (going through the fence and into the parking lot)...

It was to limit the interaction and not have to be in a small space. When you make a reservation, they'll have your skates ready for you. They are enforcing masks very well, which made us very comfortable. The zamboni cleans about every hour so everyone gets a chance to skate on slippery smooth ice. A nice activity for the family and places to eat are all around.

I came to Yelp for deets and was led to the establishment's website by a previous reviewer. Because of the Pandemic, you have to order your tickets online. It was a very quick and convenient process & the skates were picked out & ready when we arrived. Be prepared with shoe sizes during the reservation. It appears that the ice skates are cut small, (or perhaps our socks were too thick), either way, I recommend asking for a size up because a few of our skates didn't fit & had to be exchanged. Thankfully, the staff members were very helpful. We went on a Thurs night and it was a decent sized crowd but not overwhelming. Parking is free. It's a nice, smaller rink, decorated with lights and plenty of seating for spectators. Everyone was wearing masks and hand sanitizer was available. They also have double bladed skates & penguin ice sliders available to assist the smaller children w/ their ice skating. (Some of the adults needed them too lol.) You are given a coupon for a $2 hot chocolate at the Thai restaurant near by with your purchase. This outdoor ice rink offers an affordable, safe and fun activity to do with the fam during the Pandemic. I enjoyed it and I think you will too. Check them out!

Went here for a birthday party and brought my nieces with me. I saw a review on TikTok before I went and it actually looked way bigger, more stuff, and nicer than when you're actually there. Half the games weren't working, when taking the kids to get on rides it didn't seem like the people operating the rides cared much, as I had to make sure the girls were properly in the ride and fastened in tightly. Some of the ride seats belts and straps were broken, worn out, half way tearing. That's a huge safety hazard if the kids aren't strapped in tight, and after I secured them in there, they don't even come around to ensure they're in there right. It's like am I working here too, of course I care more about my child's safety. They have a height threshold for rides but kids under the height were still able to get on. It's just kids working there, one person working two rides. I constantly used sanitizing wipes to wipe the girl's hands because I felt it's so many germs around that place. Finally, had to take my niece to the bathroom, I asked her is she could hold it because the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, and it was only two stalls which makes no sense for a place that size with that many people. Very underwhelming and interesting fun place. Would not recommend.

This place is the definition of super cool!!…read more A pop-up skating event was just what this girl needed. A kind invite from my Yelp friends got this all way together. We were able to easily purchase tickets for time elected online. I purchased the adult skate 7pm-11pm w skates. It totaled $33 after fees. The Baltimore Peninsula building was pretty inviting. The kind Security Guard helped us w the parking specs. FYI: You have to pay $17 to park on the parking lot or on the street for $7. The parking fees were kind of disheartening. The skating venue itself was very nice. Once you get off the elevator, you walk into large inviting space. Everyone we had an encounter with was nice and helpful. There was a beverage set up in there as well as a bunch of tables. A bottled water was $4. That was a nuisance. The DJ was doing his thing. Great tunes to appeal to any music listener. Sadly, the evening ended w my ggggf falling and breaking her ankle, but that was no fault of the establishment. The employees were very helpful tending to her, checking up on her, and providing her w things of comfort (physical assistance, ice, water). I would return again if given the opportunity, and I encourage those who can visit to visit and support this pop-up. You won't be disappointed.

I purchased my ticket on online and decided I would bring my adult daughter's skates instead of paying the $5 skate rental fee. The total cost for skating was around $25 including fees. When I arrived I was surprised to pay for parking in the lot across the street when there was no ticket system or gate however, street parking was a little cheaper. The skate location is located on the 2nd floor and of course there is a waiver to be signed upon entering. They have lockers and coat check for I believe $10 extra but, definitely pack lite if possible. The have a small bar in the back for drinks and several couches and chairs for seating. The DJ was on point as I have not been skating in years. We were all having fun as the night was coming to a close. I requested a song from the DJ and as soon as I heard the song I my skates caught on to one another which ultimately resulted in the fracture of my ankle. I was in excruciating pain and staff carrying me to couch and provided me with an ice bag and water until I was able to get further medical attention. All in All~ it was a fun experience until the end. Needless to say I have retired from skating and will not be back.
