I called to report this to the manager and never received a call back. I went by a couple of weeks later and spoke with a manager. He told me that the gun had been used for a demo and the individual wanted different sights. They did not offer to replace the original sights that were removed nor the items missing. And I did ask.

Had a horrible experience with a staff member (believe it was the owner of the store) who was very…read morerude and prejudice. The moment I walked in, I felt like he did not want me there. He made me feel like I was a burden for just a simple ring fitting. He did not wear a mask for COVID precautions and his store reeked of cigarettes. He jammed a very small ring size onto my finger and while watching me struggle to get it off and telling him that it hurt, he laughed at me and told me I need to get used to a small size. It was like he wanted to cause me emotional and physical pain, which was so strange. I don't know if he was just having a bad day but that was unacceptable. He did not try to even show me how ring sizing worked and simply jammed the ring sizer onto my finger. Truly the worst experience I've ever had with a business.

There is a beautiful chocolate lab that sits right at the door, I am assuming it is the owner's dog. The owner or person who worked at the door however was hands down the rudest individual I think I have met this year. I came to the store seeking models that I cannot find and this store had some however the gentleman at the front BERATED my 9 year old son and make me feel like a common criminal. My son picked up a pen that will float it you toss it but the owner literally screamed at my son and asked him what would happen if the pen knocked down the plane, which was attached in four different spots and weighed easily 50-70 lbs and was secured in four different spots and the pen might have weighed .5 ounces, but I digress: the store was decent, some older models but some new. The models are overpriced by about 15%, knowing the Horizon Hobby website pretty much by heart but things like that do not matter to me. I WANTED to spend money here and the guy could have genuinely been having a bad day but I wouldn't spend money here because the man is an absolute asshole. They are super friendly and let you know that they appreciate you as a customer. Additionally, they stock a nice selection of apparrel, shoes, helmets, etc- along with bikes for every age- at every stage. The only reason they didn't get a full 5 stars, is that occasionally they have employees who may be enthusiastic and experienced cyclists- but maybe not so experienced with the problems/needs of the customer that doesn't share their particular form of the sport. That said- they do have a GEM of a diagnostic and skilled cyclying mechanic. He was able to discern a year long problem I've had with diffculty in "clipping out"- by looking at my shoe, and the shape of my foot. He also fixed a gear issue that nobody else had been able to- including his collegues. Ask for IAN- he'll take care of you!
