It had been a while since we had hibachi, so we decided to try this place and ended up really enjoying it, we actually ordered from them again! We got the chicken and steak hibachi, which came with yum yum sauce. The food didn't take long to be ready either. The first time we ordered, my sister's meal had a lot of onions, so she didn't get as much zucchini and broccoli. I don't like onions, so I ordered mine without them and had plenty of broccoli and zucchini. The second time, she did the same and ordered hers without onions too. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. It was convenient, tasted good, and the staff were nice as well. We would definitely order from here again when we're in Myrtle Beach! read more

I was actually really excited to try Bamboo Hibachi & Wings, and I will say the food tasted really good. The flavor was definitely there, so my 2-star rating isn't because the food was bad. The place was also clean and staff was nice. My disappointment was with the portioning and how the meal was presented. When I first opened the container, it looked like I had gotten a generous amount of meat and mixed vegetables. But once I started eating, I realized there was a huge amount of onions underneath everything, which made the portion look much fuller than it actually was. I only got about two pieces of zucchini, a few pieces of broccoli and carrots, and what felt like a pretty small amount of meat. Once those were gone, I was basically left with a container full of onions. Even the rice portion felt small. I understand onions are part of hibachi vegetables, but when you order mixed vegetables, you expect an actual mix, not mostly onions being used to bulk up the container. It honestly felt a little deceiving because the meal looks like a lot when you first receive it, but once you start eating, you realize how much of that "full" container is just onions. The food itself was good, which is why I'm giving 2/5 stars. I would happily come back if the portions were more balanced, especially with the meat and vegetables. read more

If you want something other than your typical Chinese food, then give this place a try. I had steak /shrimp hibachi and my wife had shrimp hibachi. My doctor would be proud of me for eating my veggies. I had broccoli, carrots, zucchini and onions with meat and rice. And it was good. I could eat this everyday and be happy. Best "fast food" hibachi I've been able to find. I always get there dumplings, shrimp and chicken hibachi dinner. It comes with rice and veggies and white sauce! It's always cooked to perfection. There have been times where I get double veggie with no rice and they do not skimp. Again, for "fast food" hibachi, it's the best in the area. Excellent food. Truly some of the best happened I've had and that was genuinely unexpected for a beach restaurant.

This place was super nice! We were in town and craving hibachi, but had no idea what to try. A quick search had multiple places coming up near the Boardwalk, but none had very good reviews. This one did, so we went out on a limb and tried them. We were so shocked by the prices, $5 for a chicken bowl? 1.95 for 3 spring rolls? Um yes please! $14 for two people (and I didn't even finish my meal) is a steal, plus for really good food. The owner was personable and it was clear he had a rapport with what appeared to be several regulars who came and went when we got our food. I sadly scarfed mine down before I could take pictures because I was starving, but definitely order - I promise you will not be disappointed! read more

I'm amazed by the amount of great reviews. The food is flavorless at best. The delivery is an absolute joke as the driver calls over and over asking how to get here, every gps I have used brings me right here. Finally shows up very late with cold food. The fried rice is nothing more than white rice with some "brown" coloring, no vegetables, pork or egg in it, just "brown" colored flavorless crap, no soy provided either. The wings appear to have been fried from frozen as they had blood everywhere like wings fried from frozen typical do. The hibachi chicken was smothered in onions, again a dish with no flavor. Overall let's recap: Delivered late, Delivered cold, Driver clueless, Bloody wings, Flavorless not fried rice, Hibachi onion, I mean chicken flavorless and smothered with onion. This place is a hidden gem! The place is immaculatly clean, the staff is very nice, the food is high quality, and it's served quickly. I went in for a hibachi steak and was amazed at the quality of the steak and the fresh flavors of the entire entree. It also came with a drink (lunch spc) which is pretty much unheard of for these sorts of restaurants. The owner was chatting with me and it is clear that he has a lot of experience in food service. Mind you, the food is not bad quality, and the owners seem friendly enough, but I came in with some cash, looking to spend the rest on a card. Refused to accept the cash, did it all on card, which read about four dollars less than my bank statement says I was charged when I signed the receipt. Maybe I should have written zero, since I came in for take out; I've never heard of tipping on the first take out visit, but it seems they think it's mandatory. The quality of the food, like I said, wasn't BAD. But I wouldn't say it blew me away, either. I've definitely had worse, but I'd also had better. Seems like they could improve by telling the customer exactly what they will pay at checkout; it's possible their computer requires an additional charge for certain cards, but this wasn't expressed to me. Horrible! We ordered habachi via the grubhub when we were vacationing in Myrtle beach. We placed the order at about 7:30p in the hope that habachi would be quick to prepare. At about 8:15p, after the guaranteed delivery time frame, we called the restaurant to check our order status. The one who answered the phone appeared not aware of the order at all. He was not friendly or sounded sorry either. Anyways, we kept waiting. Our (young) kids were all starving and exhausted at that point (as it already pasted their bedtime, and they ate all the snacks we had with us...) We called again at about 9pm. The same person answered the phone - again, he did not sound he cared at all. He didn't know where the delivery person was. And he sounded he could not wait to call it a day... our food eventually arrived at 9:35p. After more than two hours of waiting, the food turned out disappointing. The beef was too dry and rice was not tasty. Every dish was too salty. (The delivery lady did a good job to keep food warm.) I would say the food was below average among all the habachi dishes I have had. I believe grubhub may be partly to blame. But the attitude of the person at the restaurant was not acceptable. If you do not care about your customers, why would you even bother to be in this business? read more
