I had a wonderful first visit to Bambu. The space is open, bright, decorated with flowers that drape the space with cheer and a very instagrammable neon sign. I ordered an Oreo milk tea, an Oreo macaron and a pandan waffle. All were delicious! The service was excellent too. I'll def be back to try some of their savory selections. I saw bao and banh mis on the menu, and I have a weakness for both.

I've been here a few times now because their drinks are so refreshing! It's a cute shop across the street from Ochsner/Target by Clearview. They offer tons of different types of drinks, but they also have a few dessert/snack items if you're peckish! I've tried the mango fruit tea, passionfruit fruit tea, and lychee milk tea. They've all been delicious! The lychee is my fave. I always add popping bobas because they're yummy and fun. I tried adding basil seeds to my last drink and that was nice too. I've yet to try their mochi ice cream, but I've had their macarons before. They were fantastic and adorable too! They do have a points system you can associate with your phone number. The points give you discounts on your purchases! With the weather getting hotter, I'll be back more often!

Bambu is one of my favorite bubble tea places. Their taro and Thai tea bubble tea are excellent and so is the service. Even when I get my food and drink delivered, it's packed with care. I didn't love the coconut jelly because it's not sweet at all, so I'll stick to mango jelly. The decor is really cute and the friendliness of the staff always makes me want to hang out there a while. They also have happy hour which is how I ventured away from my usual bubble tea order and have also tried the bao and banh mi. I found them flavorful and loved the abundance of carrots, cilantro, and other vegetables. The quality of the meat is what you'd expect from a snack shop, but the sauces are yummy. I highly recommend Bambu.

The service was GREAT! The cashier was AMAZING ! She recommended the mango smoothie and it had a powdery taste. I wouldn't recommend the mango smoothie, I will be back to try the coconut drink, and I'll update my review off that. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the bathroom was clean and easy to access. The menu is straight forward and has the prices listed, majority of the items has a list of the ingredients and some doesn't... but that's not a problem because the cashier doesn't mind answering questions and she even offered me a sample of the mango jello topping.

Ok so I arrived at 8:51p and they close at 9p. Yes, people were still there eating. But when I walked in the cashier greeted me as if they weren't close until 10-11p. She was so bubbly and friendly. The restaurant was super clean menu was bright up top and super easy to read & understand the menu. Yes it was different for me! I did try the Strawberry Refresher with Strawberry Jellies. The Refresher was pressure, I'm not a fan of the jellies tho..I also got a Red Velvet macaroon. Omg it was so soft and tasty..they also sell sandwiches..listen next time I'm in Metairie I'm going back..its across from Target on Vets. Also there's like a lounge area towards the back.

Worth the visit! Beautiful decor, tasty treats, and a clean inviting a space that uplifted my day. I tried mochi and two other menu items...exceeded all expectations! Bambu not only excels with the dining experience, but it is also uniquely located on Vets and near Clearview Parkway. And, I can't say enough about how welcoming and pleasant the staff were. Already planning to go back to cool off from the hot weather ahead.

Years later, I'm glad to say that the customer service here greatly improved! The person who got my order was really nice and polite. Decorum is still clean and neat. I ordered the Bambu Combo for $7.50 with a large size (extra $1.50) which would equal to $9.00. It was a bit expensive for "Che" but I get it because of inflation. The taste was still really good and the dessert was filled with a lot of delicious toppings! The only complaint I have would be that they took almost 30 minutes for my order, but I understand since they had some technical issues. Other than that, my experience at Bambu greatly improved compared to my first visit.

I ordered coconut sugar cane and it's 90% ice. Yeah. Talking about fillers. lol.

I ordered the coconut sugar cane and it is 90% ice. That's how they get you. Use ice as fillers.

Friendly staff and the drinks are always delicious. I usually go for the blended teas especially since it's been so hot outside. Refreshing chè options & yummy waffles too!

Great location in Metairie. Plenty of parking avaliable in the rear of the building.. The interior is spacious and has such a cute vibe to it. Definitely a chill hang out spot. Free wifi. Look forward to visiting a few more times to try more of the items

The perfect spot for not too sweet desserts (iykyk)! Loved the halo halo and taro lover. Servings are very generous in size. The shave ice is perfect for the NOLA summers weather. The dining area is cute and always clean. Definitely check them out!

I always love coming here and getting a smoothie! I always get mango flavor mixed with another with jellies! The workers are always so nice and the place is cute!

I ordered your ube cake as a PURE Filipino , I can assure you that the "ube" cake, ain't no ube…read more Its some knock off trashy ass taro from temu, Im guessing its watered down 95% water and the other 5 as ube cuz it looks pale ASF. Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)

I picked: a large fluffy maple roll. The outside reminded me of a croissant in the best way with some mild maple sweetness and the inside was moist, pillowy, and rich. I heated it up in the oven next day which made it even better. A square coconut roll... crisp and flaky on the outside with the most delightful sweet coconut cream inside and flaked almonds on top. This was my favorite. Will get multiple next time. And a pair of taro rolls. These I was most excited for as I love taro, and they weren't bad at all, but were probably my least favorite of the 3, purely because they had an eggy aftertaste. They weren't overly sweet with a nice smooth taro filling. I also tried a taro milk tea with soy milk. These normally include lavender too, but I asked for mine without. The flavor was off the charts good. Strangely it was nothing like the usual taro drinks I've tried and I couldn't place what I was tasting, but it was rich and creamy and so satisfying. Only thing that bummed me out was that I ordered boba and there wasn't any. :(

The New Orleans Iced Coffee with Chicory. Chicory is a root, that is very popular to get in coffee in New Orleans. First, I love the tiny ice cubes used in this coffee. Why doesn't every single coffee shop offer the tiny ice cubes? They keep your drink cold, while they don't take a ton of volume away from your coffee! I love the chicory flavor of this coffee! It's naturally nutty and a tiny bit chocolatey without any syrups. This area at Whole Foods has some yellow bar stools for seating options.
