    Southwest bowl
    Jasmine C.

I ordered the southwest bowl. My bowl contained burnt quinoa that looked like it was scraped from the bottom of the pot. It was also a bit pricey in my opinion. I didn't think it was worth it.

I can't speak to the service (I ordered through UberEats) but my bowl was delicious. I built my own and had a couple of requests (eg no dressing, kimchi on the side, etc) and it was built perfectly. I wasn't too hungry and the bowl was the perfect size for my appetite. However if I hadn't had such a big lunch I would've thought it was a little small for the price. My chocolate protein smoothie was great! They didn't skimp on the date and the cacao flavor really came through.

Stopped in post run for a healthy breakfast. I ordered the açaí bowl. Delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Inside was clean and welcoming. Their menu had many healthy options. I can't wait to try more meals here! If you are looking for a healthy option I highly recommend Daily Beet.

Delicious smoothies! We grabbed smoothies, and my husband also got an acai bowl. Everything was delicious. I had the Nutty Buddy and he had the Mighty Green. The staff was friendly. The place was bright and clean. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

As I sit here being overwhelmed with happiness and joy, for the 50th time, eating this insanely incredibly food I wondered if everyone else knew how amazing this place is. Well, if you like fresh ingredients, insane flavor, and the most wonderful staff, then search no more and get you butt over here. Dining room has great vibe too! Recommendation? I can't stop eating the Garden Hash bowl, curry bowl, and acai bowl. But probably everything

I have come to daily beet so many times! They're the best spot for a healthy, tasty lunch or breakfast. I love their smoothies and their pancakes are an absolute must! One thing I don't see people talk about enough is their bowls. Each bowl is so flavor packed and the portions are good sized. I usually pick this up if I'm looking for a nice meal that won't weigh me down later. It is a little pricey (I wanna say a smoothie is $12-13) but it's worth it for the freshness and flavor!

Super friendly service. Juice was fantastic and so was pitaya chia pudding with blueberry & granola. Would become back!

The staff is always friendly, except for one interesting experience. I was initially told there wasn't a restroom available for me, but I guess I looked unhoused that day. I tend to wear camo a lot, so in this part of the city, I'm kind of used to it. I just laughed it off because, funny enough, once I placed my order, the restroom magically appeared. Aside from that, the complimentary WiFi makes it a great spot to pop open your laptop and get some work done while enjoying your meal. My favorite? The Smokey the Bear juice. If you love a little spice, this is the drink for you!

This place is always great for a healthy bite to eat. Food is always fresh and pretty. The place is clean and there's a few tables to eat inside. It is a little pricey but that's expected for quality food.

I knew my options for healthy, gluten free vegan food in NOLA would be sparse at best. I was so glad to find the Daily Beet. It was well worth the 1-mile walk to and from the hotel. I got a quinoa bowl with avocado slices, beets (of course), carrots and other veggies. The dish looked amazing and tasted even better. Hopefully I'll be able to sneak away from my work commitments for another lunch at the Beet. Unfortunately they are not open for dinner but may also grab a salad before they close one day and keep it cold until dinner time.

This was a perfect morning stop to balance out the heavy food of traditional NOLA cuisine! I will make it a part of my routine next time I'm in NOLA for sure. GLOWS: -The acai bowls were pretty good. The house made granola was a nice touch. -The oat power balls were a delicious snack. -The staff was friendly and helpful, and the music playing was fire!

The best avocado I have ever had. The arugula was appeared the be marinated. The loaf was fresh, mash was the perfect consistency. I paired it with Pretty pink . Very quick and courtesy service highly recommend as a break from the traditional heavy food

The cafe is so cute and colorful they have so much to offer I fell in love with the space . They have a plethora of vegan options that tailor to the healthy raw vegan palette which was okay with me . I felt the genuine care when ordering I got a vegan chocolate chip cookie and the golden tea which was 10/10 will be back again

Both were outstanding. The Bananas Foster French Toast was rich, indulgent, and packed with flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. The bananas and sauce were the perfect complement to the French toast, making it feel like a New Orleans dessert and breakfast all in one. The Boudin Breakfast Biscuit was equally impressive. The biscuit was fresh and flaky, and the boudin added a delicious Cajun flavor that set it apart from a typical breakfast sausage. Every bite was savory, satisfying, and uniquely Louisiana. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it's easy to see why Surrey's has such a loyal following. If you're visiting New Orleans and looking for a memorable breakfast, put this place on your list. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

This place is a true gem. I can't wait to come back and try more. Such a great experience.

It has retro vibes, and I loved how the outside looked. The inside was just as cute, with 80s toys lining the walls. There was ample seating. The staff was very friendly and helped me pick out what I would like to order. I went with the spicy chicken biscuit and a side of hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were very crispy and seasoned well, so I loved them, as soggy hashbrowns are a major pet peeve of mine. The chicken biscuit was good, but I'm not 100% sure it was to my taste. It was massive and very hard to eat, and there was a lot of fried chicken skin. The mayo on the sandwich was definitely homemade and had a very strong egg flavor, so I would go without that next time. The biscuit was probably the best biscuit I've ever had. As a California girl, I think the flavors might have just been a little too strong for me, but still a great spot to stop by.

There was a line when we arrived, but we liked how the host walked the line asking how many people in your party in case they were able to seat people regardless of your position in line. We were seated pretty quickly, our server was great. She came over with a big smile, very mild mannered, but attentive. We ordered our meals, which came out quickly. Omelet for my husband, grits bowl for me. The grits have smoked gouda. The grits bowl is if you have a big appetite because it is big! My husband enjoyed his shrimp and crab Omelet, but he did mention that he couldn't really taste or see much crab, but it was tasty. The grits bowl has a lot of sautéed veggies so if that's not your thing say no veggies or light veggies. I had one of the fresh juices, the Ginger Sun, I believe that's the name. Oh my!!! It was so good and honestly I wasn't feeling my best when I arrived and after drinking the juice my body really started feeling better. I wasn't able to eat all my food, but I can say that juice was the highlight of it for me. The restaurant was clean and I love the long bench with the pillows that line the wall. Also, they have 2 sides, the other side is for to go I believe and its for tacos/quesadillas, etc...

We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and drinks at Luzianne. Minor things noted, mainly on the cook of the eggs, but nothing awful. It his the spot and checked the boxes!

We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children (one being only 2 years old), and because of that they changed our table type from a 4-top to a 5-top and made us wait an additional 30 minutes. Meanwhile, multiple tables became available that easily could have accommodated us, but the hostess was determined to keep telling us we had to wait. To make matters worse, there was open bench seating in the back where customers ordering to-go could sit. I offered to order food to-go so we could at least sit down and get started while waiting, and she told me if I did that they would remove our name from the waitlist because "you have to pick one or the other." No willingness to problem solve whatsoever. She repeatedly said she was "sorry," but her actions showed the opposite. I was simply trying to work together to find some reasonable solution instead of continuing to watch everyone else get seated while our family, including small children, kept waiting. Absolutely horrible customer service experience.
