I talked with the people running this establishment. I was very curious about the food here, and its quite nice. Its a very clean restaurant and everyone working there is quite friendly. I ended up ordering the Choppan Kabab. The lamb had a combination of spices that made my taste buds doing a dance. Afghani Naan was a bit thick but still tasted good. read more

The place looks new, great food as usual Bamiya standard except naan, they were cold, didn't look fresh, but great service, place is very clean, its paid parking, they r not busy, I dont think anyone knows what they offer, or what Bamyan is. I am glad Its closer to me now than Toronto, now they need to open one in windsor too. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Sunday night, not too busy, and we asked for the tandoori chicken, and were told they had it, but would only sell it as individual plates, not as a skewer, or as a family platter, so they could make the maximum money on it. Since the skewer and salad would net them $1.99 less per plate. The only problem is, my family doesn't eat rice. We finally agreed, and were told we would receive double the salad, since they were not going to give us rice. We DID NOT receive double the salad. I heard the owner give the same line to phone orders while we were there, offering them the tasteless chicken breast instead. Was $1.99 really worth a bad review and losing frequent customers for the owner? I hope so. read more

I recently just purchased the Tikka Kabob meal tonight because I saw it on the menu as a beautiful heaping pile of food that looked great so I ordered it as takeout. After paying around $13.50 for the meal with tax, I took it home expecting a good, quality sized portion for what I paid. I get it home to be presented with overcooked tenderloin on plain rice with a spice sprinkled on top. Next I was met with 8 small chopped pieces of romaine beside a minuscule scoop of plain diced tomato & cucumber with a sprig of parsley, hardly a salad, more a garnish at best. With the meal was included 1 piece of naan bread. The naan was overcooked, very dense due to an over use of yeast, completely dry and tasteless & to top it off it tasted like bad pizza dough. When naan tastes like pizza dough it is due to improper use of yogurt and milk ingredients in the recipe. If I am paying $13.50, I expect your authentic food to taste authentic and not a plain, overcooked small portion of food. Very over priced for what they present. read more

I just ate there for lunch and I got the mantu which is a plate of dumplings with different types of sauce on them, resting on top of some nice lentils. It was the most satisfying lunch, I was really impressed by the quality and freshness. The service was so friendly and I could tell the dumplings were made to order. I don't live in London but if I did I would go there all the time. read more
