Pretty disappointed with our experience today. We are very frequent customers here and have spent more money then I'd like to admit at this establishment. We've never had any issues with pricing until today. We went in for our sons birthday and as soon as we walk in, we check the "specials" board. The board said buy 20.00 get 20.00 Thursday- Sunday as it says in the picture. We were super excited about it. We haven't been in for a little while and still have trash bags FULL of tickets in our trunk. So we go up to the counter to get that deal and are told they only do that deal on Thursdays. We let the lady know the board says otherwise she consults with the manager and says, "I'm sorry guys but we changed in to only Thursdays". She was very nice about it but we were really frustrated with the situation. We feel that if the advertising board says that, then it should be granted until it is off the board. After talking to a manager, we got the understanding that they didn't have the authority to grant it themselves. As I said before, we've been coming here for years, my husband works at the shop that services Bananas vehicles, their company parties are held there, we've thrown birthday parties here, and we've never had an issue until today. I just wish it could have been granted for us since that is what was advertised. However skeeball is the best! My husband hit the jackpot twice tonight! New water park is fun but to cafe needs to be better staffed with the increased business. They think being busy is an excuse for poor service. I'm kind of bummed. We were hoping for a fun time for our 3 and 7 year olds, but it wasn't that great. We bought $20 worth of tokens, but then we realized all the "games" aren't really games at all, just gambling machines for tokens. Maybe this place would be better suited for teenagers instead of little kids? And most of the "games" cost at least $1.00 each. Next time we'll take them to Chuck E Cheese at the mall, where everything always costs 1 token and there are more actual activities for them to enjoy! read more

We have taken a large group of middle schoolers to Bananas the past few years. We always have a great experience! The price is just right, the staff is so accommodating and welcoming to all students. They make the field trip so easy and our students are entertained every moment. We are so excited for their new waterpark to open. Five star review for Bananas for sure! read more

I had a great time at Banana's last weekend. Very fun and not too crowded for a Sat! The staff could be a little better at observing kids and not allowing them to cut in line when parents aren't around....That said, parents could also not allow their children to run amuck if they are not capable of being respectful of others and obeying the rules!!! This review is for the Bump-n-Jump rental that Banana's provides. If you are looking for a fun activity for kids consider renting a bump-n-jump from Bananas. Every time I have rented, they have been on time (or early) and are always very accommodating. Recently we rented two bump-n-jumps for a school event and they were very accommodating. They switched out one of the bump-n-jumps at the last minute due to weather. They did a great job! read more

Definitely the best laser tag I've seen. Multiple levels and obstacles. $10 for unlimited pass. Great deal. The Arcade is almost completely ticket based games, so if you are looking Dr high end action games, this is not the place. If you like ticket games, there is a great selection though. So I'm not much of a person who likes to go outdoors or public for that matter. I'm a homebody through and through. My friends went to Bananas fun park a few weeks back to play some mini golf, haven't done that in years. It was around six in the evening so it was beautiful to see the sunset and take lots of pictures. It was getting fun but of course the experience was ruined by mosquitos eating us up, horrible, horrible! Bugs I'm okay with but to keep getting bit from those bugs aren't ideal for me. So we try and ignore it, but the more we sweat the worse it gets. We get to the number eleven and notice that there's a family of raccoons! Babies no less, the other group that started their game were trying to hit them and scared them under the bridge of water. They're babies trying to survive in the world, where the land was originally theirs and minding their own business. Jerks I thought. Before we left I informed the employee about the situation, she said she'd get her manager, he comes out with a golf stick, and runs outside with it. Instantly I felt regret for informing them. I didn't see what happened or what he did but apparently he "chased them away." I feel like they should have called a company that will relocate them to a forest or a place they could go. Now all I think about is those baby raccoons freezing in the water and being bullied by the people at bananas. Of course it would be nice if they could do something about those mosquitoes. Overall that place needs to learn about wildlife and to get the bugs out of the way. read more

Dirty not filthy. Worst complaint is customer service. When I asked for where things were I was given a brochure that was very generic. I asked how to get there and got "go that way" from ALREDO the manager. That was after we followed signs to bumper cars and laser tag that took us to no attendants. This place is a joke. There were no apologies offered and made me feel like an idiot. We are from michigan thinking this would be a fun place. Thanks for the let down Alfredo! You didn't even try to enhance our service. Hello fellow yelpers this review is on bananas fun park here in Grand Junction and first off I want to say that they have a variety of games helpful staff but there is a few things that are lacking like the bouncy house place that they have that's in the pavilion there's only like five bouncy objects in there and that's really where is big is it is and first why it is really have that many in there it kind of defeats the purpose of actually doing anything in there but they have a lot of games to offer in the main building and its became a little pricey but we had fun for New Years Eve when they are holding a party for the kids and my daughter seem to enjoy it so if you're looking for something to do with the kids or just play a round of mini golf by yourself that's the way to go read more

One of the men I believe his name was Brian spoke to me like I was slow and stupid , when I called the manager about it his response was "I might be the manager" , he was completely rude with me and hung up on me . Arcade was full of awesome games, battled it out with the kids in laser tag, and caught my breath while they jumped like crazy in the bouncy playland. Great deal for a day of indoor fun. I really like their new water park. My kids are 3 & 5, and it's a great place for them to choose little slides or big slides and it's still fun for Dad too! We bought a season pass this year, and have used it and enjoyed it. There are a couple of what I'd consider "glaring" issues that I hope they will address to make this a 5 star place. First of all, the workers do not seem to be trained in first aid or able to provide it, or even trained to respond to injuries. My little one banged her head on the slide and came out screaming with a face full of blood. Not a single one of the employees that saw it happen even made a move to help out; I had to carry her screaming to the entrance and when we got there, even they didn't know what to do. One of the guys just asked me if it happened in the slide and when I repeatedly said yes - he went over to tell the other folks to close down the slides for 10 minutes. Finally one of the folks asked if we needed some gauze; I said yes - and he came back a few minutes later with some paper towels. As a parent all I could think about was, "what if it was something worse than a bloody nose and split lip?". I really want to encourage management to get people trained in responding and in first aid. Accidents happen, and the total lack of responsiveness and training gives me a bit of hesitation. Second of all, there is no water available without drying off and going inside. They used to have a big gatorade jug in the snack bar and now they've even removed that. I don't understand why they'd make it so hard to get water and I've never been at an outdoor place like this where there is no water fountain, no water jug, nothing. Third, there are no outdoor bathrooms at all. I think this invites if not encourages using the water feature as a toilet and although I understand budgets and budget concerns, I'd hope this would be on the radar as a future improvement. In my opinion, basics like first aid, water to drink, and a place to kids to go to the bathroom without spending time drying off are musts at a place like this. I know it sounds like I really don't like the water park with these comments, but actually I do! It's a joyful place with kids and parents having fun together if you plan ahead. Bring water, take the kids to the bathroom when you get there, and make sure you have some basic first aid stuff with you and hopefully management will address these issues as they are able! read more

My nine-year-old son who has high functioning autism and prefers a quiet, controlled atmosphere decided that he wanted to try out Bananas. I had my reservations, but was willing to support him in trying something out of his usual comfort zone. I fully expected to pay the price of admission and leave within about 15 minutes with my son in meltdown mode. If it had not been for the staff, our visit would have likely been brief. Everybody on staff was kind and soft spoken. They were efficient in their duties without making us feel rushed. One young lady in particular, Emily, made an extra effort to connect with my son when he went to exchange in his tickets. She went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and special, leaving him grinning from ear to ear long after we left. read more

I waited half an hour for a laser maze without instructions of what to do. But I did enjoy the go-karts. A lot of false advertising here too. There's no refunds too. And it stinks. Not so wild. This place was our favorite, until this week. They changed their laser tag guns to clear ones that flash constantly in your face. The problem is when you have children that are seizure prone it causes issues. Our son loved laser tag and played with his brothers and friends weekly. Now they won't be going anymore due to the new guns. It's a shame because this was everyones favorite hangout previously, so time to find new activities. Be aware of the new guns if you or anyone in your family has problems with flashing lights or motion sickness. You will walk out miserable. read more

We were having a decent time until teenagers bulldozed my daughter to the ground, banging her head. Accidents happen but we repeatedly asked them to be careful around the younger kids. The worst part is the manager, who was a teenager himself said sorry and walked away, totally dismissing me. He did nothing to change the situation, to ensure the safety of other children. There is no staff in the bounce house room and apparently this behavior is acceptable. I called and spoke to the "GM". He was polite and pleasant but did nothing. I don't feel it's safe and will never return. Also ridiculously expensive for what it is. $5 for my 6 year old to spend 5 minutes on the bumper boats. No thanks! read more

My son had a birthday party here and it was fantastic from start to finish. They supplied the invitations, called a couple of days ahead to confirm and when we got there the place was decorated with balloons around the room and on the table (all included). The hostess was very accommodating and easy to work with. The whole staff was attentive to our table and to the kids playing all around the room. Not to mention the kids had a blast and the food (also included in the price) was pretty good. They also have an option to include very cute party favors, which you can add that day and were also a hit with the kiddos. And above all, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering everything you get. I would definitely recommend Bananas to anyone looking for a place to throw a birthday party for kids of any age. There is literally something there for everyone, adults included, and the entire staff is great! read more
