This review is for Banbury Adventures-- We were looking for a kayak rental that allowed our 10 lb dog and this was the spot! Gentleman behind the counter was friendly and got us taken care of as a walk in rental. We were able to fill out our waivers quickly and packed up our cooler and waterproof bag to meet him at the life jackets (included with the rental). We brought our dog's life jacket since she's used to paddle boarding and being unfamiliar with the Snake River, we wanted to be safe. Kayaks were clean, good quality and had backrests which were nice. It had storage space in the front and back of the kayak too. We paddled out to Blue Heart Springs and back. We'd definitely come back when we have more time to explore! read more

Mixed Review. What you need to know when booking a stay here, NO WIFI and no cellular service. This is the second time we have been there in the last 2 years and they said the same thing last time "we are working on it." This time we booked the condo which was nice enough but w/o service and no cable there is little to do when you are not swimming. There are 2 TV sets but one is hooked to nothing and the other has a DVD player but no DVD's. The actual hot spring pools and private rooms are quite nice. There is a diving board as the deep end is 8 feet deep. is It is clear they are upgrading things around the springs. Kayak rentals are on site. There are no swimming in the Snake River from the kayak launch. Camp sites were busy and the area was pretty clean. The only food and drinks are soda, water, chips, and candy bars. All very reasonable prices. The staff was helpful and polite. read more

Perfect after a hike- & for only $20 a great deal! Private, smaller pools are avail, but we're not avail the day I went... I would definitely check out another time... but main pool big enough to have not only people of all ages... there was even a dive class going on while I was in the pool... fun to watch! Great little get away just along the river. Hard to get a spot there as there aren't too many RV spots. (The best one is spot -A- with a view of the river ). However they do have some cabin/condos to rent there too. Bathrooms have been recently renovated and the place is kept up and clean, if you pay to go in the hot springs pool at Banbury you have access to go across the main road to Miracle hot springs The pool at Banbury is just that a large pool with a shallow end and a deep end with a diving board. Pool is drained every night and cleaned. No chlorine whatsoever, it's great. There are docks down by the river to drop in your kayak or they have them available to rent as well. If you do have a boat or paddle board, just about a mile up river there is a "blue lagoon" they call it, that is a pretty place to see fish and birds and water inlets and crystal clear water. I would recommend it even for a day trip read more

Banbury hot springs is a nice little campground with plenty of amenities. They have reasonable prices for camping, using the swimming pool, and renting paddle boards or kayaks. The campground is located about 1.5 miles away from blue heart springs, so I rented a tandem kayak for 4 hours for $40. I made a reservation through the phone with no issues. The staff is friendly and helpful! I will definitely be returning with my friends and family. read more

I took my two children here in March for my son's birthday. I was able to reserve for his exact birthday and they called me since I had to book one a few weeks ahead, but then was able to exchange it for the date that I wanted. That was great. I did get the condo so it was a bit overpriced in my opinion. It was nice, by the lake. However, there were ants! However, the housekeeping lady came and cleaned it up as soon as I let the front office know. The walls I shared with the other guests were so thin! They could hear us speak and I could hear every word they spoke. But it is what it is. No one wore masks there so they definitely don't enforce it. I felt like an alien lol We did have a great time. The little pool reserved for just us is not worth the $$$ but the bigger pool is better. I did like the pools better at Miracle than Banbury. A lot more extravagant in my opinion and much more fun. Overall, we had a great time. It was not exactly what I expected but it was a good experience. I would return and if I do, I know what things to bring LOL. read more

Our family of four had a wonderful time here. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves. The water felt fabulous. We had so much fun on the spinning log, shooting hoops, jumping off the diving board, and especially just floating and relaxing in the fabulous water. Another highlight was watching three beautiful bald eagles land in the tree above us. The facilities are a little old but were clean and the staff was very friendly. Next time we go will be to camp at the RV park there too. read more

Great little campground, if you have a choice between miracle and Banbury choose this place. More private and off the road and you can see the river. The Hot Springs is great, open, outdoor and natural setting. Staff is very friendly, we stayed two nights in the RV park and enjoyed ourselves even though it rained and stormed while we were there. There is power, water, and sewer hook ups. We will be back. read more

We've rented kayaks and their Megaladon SUP, which is awesome... it's like standing on sidewalk. I wish they invested in new ones. The first time we got carbon fiber paddles which was nice, the second time was more crowded and so they were out. We did learn they rent jet skis. It's a bit pricey, but I don't know of any other place nearby that renta boats already on the water. Worth checking out. The hot springs are clean, just wish they had more lounge chairs. read more

Hade a private tub reserved, we showed up and were told that the tub was being filled and that we go ahead and go in. They advised that when the tub was full, the water would automatically shut off. After about 15 minutes of the tub being over filled and soaking our towels, it wasn't until we had to ask them to shut the water off that someonecame and shut it off. As we left, soaked due to wet towels, I stopped and advised the clerk what had happened. She responded with a smirk and nothing else, not even an apology. Terrible customer service. read more

After reading several recent reviews I was kind of nervous about our upcoming visit to Banbury. We stayed in the small cabin and had a wonderful time. It was very small, but super cute and clean. The bathroom is actually right next door and is newly titled and redone. It is clean and also cute. It is a private bathroom that requires your keep your door key with you. We enjoyed a private soaking tub after a day on the river where we rented kayaks and went to box canyon and blue heart springs (the water is ice cold). There is no phone service/WiFi. Also no microwave or TV so just bring snacks, water, games and downloaded shows if you want that stuff. The stars are beautiful and bright at night there. Also the front office area seemed like they just remodeled and had fiddle leaf and snake plants and I couldn't figure out why so many reviews talked about how run down everything was. For me, I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised that everything was redone and new. The camp hosts were friendly and so was the staff (although they did seem bored). Miracle is right down the road and does have a nicer public soaking area and that's where I got my amazing massage. For camping this was way more accommodating and glancing then just being out nowhere. We had a great time. read more

First I will start with Gary the Camp Host - A+ guy!!! He is committed to making your stay enjoyable. He checks in with you when getting set up then cruises the campground making sure your Ok through the day. He is the consummate camp host. Front desk team very nice and helpful as well. The campground itself is rustic. If you are hauling something 30' or longer request not to be in the area of sites 4 and 5 - it took quite a bit of work to get the trailers level. Great family campground - lots of families and kids enjoying the hot springs fed large pool. We rented a hot springs bath one night - that was wonderful. Camp site facilities could use updating (see reference to "rustic"). We didn't spend a lot of time at the campground - we adventured elsewhere exploring the vistas and golfing. There looked to be very nice tent sites - this campground would be a fun place for a group. We did not use the restrooms / showers so I cannot provide insight to that area. We rented the pool side condo for the weekend with the family and some friends. It was a blast. The condo was a little dated but it had new furnishings and beds. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. It's an older hot springs I use to come here s a child. But the old rustic feeling is part of what makes it great. The kids loved being able to step out and jump in the pool. We rented a couple of their large paddle boards and went to the ice springs it was great. Out paddle board did end up losing air on the way back and that made for a little bit of an adventure getting home. They made sure to make it right. The people are friendly. All in all it was a great weekend getaway! read more

Private hot spring rooms are where it is at. It is totally worth the 10-20 an hr. Private area you and your friends can chill relax, hear each other. at night the stars are fantastic. Go and go then go again. I went in the summer, but I want to go back once it gets colder. read more

Banburry's is the best. Being a connoisseur of Hot Spring facilities all around the state of Idaho and Nevada. I really enjoyed Banburry's. Very clean these guys know what they're doing. They have camped in their campsite, and a camp host that has a very watchful eye. Reasonably priced too. read more

We enjoyed our brief visit here. We didn't camp but we used the boat rental and stayed several hours. The staff were fairly nice but they failed to notice several elderly women who were stranded at their facility for hours yesterday. My wife noticed and we were able to help get the women's car unlocked so they could leave but the facility staff should've asked how they could help after these women sat in the same spot for three hours. read more

Rented out the condo for a night, very nice! Beds were very comfortable. The only downside, if I am going to pay over 200 a night for the condo then I would like to swim past 10. Also the staff was not very helpful on the phone, they were very confused on what we were asking for. Also we were told if we weren't in the pool by 8 they were going to close it down. It would have been a better experience if staff actually knew what they were talking about. read more

We came to Banbury for a weekend getaway for our first wedding anniversary and were misinformed on what Banbury really is so we were a bit disappointed, but if you are well informed and prepared it would be a lovely trip. We were expecting massages and a rustic spa, this is a campground with very nice campground setups, but you need to bring everything you need and be self sufficient. We rented the cottage which we expected was a tiny cabin.... it was a shed with a big and very comfy bed, plug in fan, and two small side tables plus quite a lot of bugs. That's it. No fridge, no microwave, and the little town closes down early so when we arrived at 10pm after a 7hr drive from Reno we were stuck eating McDonald's 20min away. All restaurants and towns are 20min away, this is a retreat style place in farmland by the river. We spoke with the manager and she was very kind and made sure we were able to cancel our 2nd night's stay and we had a lovely time in the private hot spring pool with jets as it had come with our 1st day's stay and she made sure we didn't waste it. They brought cold water and towels and the pools are drained and cleaned after each reservation. We did 1.5hrs and got all pruney, but it was so relaxing and our road trip muscles were grateful! If we were closer we would come for a couple hours for the hot springs and the river and it is a beautiful place. read more

Best campground ever! There is so much to do without ever leaving the camp ground. Not only did they have wonderful access to the river but they also have great ways to explore the river. They had kayaks (one and two person) standup paddle boards and plenty of life jackets for adults and children. The river is so wide and calm that it almost feels like a lake! We spent most of our time during the day on the river. The campground is big and quiet and the hot springs were great in the evening. There was plenty of room at each campsite and water too. I would travel here just to stay at the campground for a weekend! In short, it's the best! read more

We had a great time in the jetted tub and the swimming pool. It was a nice few hour break in our adult road trip. Watch out for the biting flies though. I'm sure there's nothing they can do about them and it's not their fault they are in the wilderness. Just be aware they are there. Will be taking my family back one day. read more

This place is great fun. They offer a wide range of services and activities, and the feel is very classic. Swimming here feels a bit like stepping back in time. They still let you have fun in the old style before everyone was worried about getting sued over any small thing. So they still have a diving board and a steep slide into the water (both of which are removed in many modern pools) and they have a huge log of 30+ years that floats between the shallow and deep ends that spins and offers lots of laughs as adults and children try to straddle it or, for the most skilled, walk across it. The prices are a bit high (maybe $9 for an adult to swim). They also have camping facilities, an arcade, etc. read more

Honestly, my expectations were way too high! They have great marketing skills because this place looks amazing online. We booked a campsite and a kayak, but ended up not staying the night. We bailed because the campsites are not very nice. There is no privacy and basically right off the road on top of the hill. We love camping and had just came from the Sawtooth Mountains. The Sawtooth Mountains are gorgeous and this place just did not compare! We did enjoy kayaking on the river to Blue Heart Springs, the water (in the spring) was clear and beautiful. BUT the facilities are not very updated and the costumer service was awful. It was our first time there, but they acted like we knew where to go and what to do with the gear when we were finished. I did not feel welcomed. It was not worth the price or my time. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone else. I will kayak elsewhere. Hope this helps! read more

We've been coming here for the last three years because our kids enjoy the pool. There are limited sites with full hook up and of those sites only three are nice. Some of the other sites you literally have to run your sewere line up hill. How is that supposed to work? Needless to say, you have to book 6 months in advance to get the good spots, which we do. On this last trip, the owners allowed their friend to park in an undesignated spot between us and the river, obstructing our view. The property manager compensated us by discounting our rate. We appreciated her sincerity and will be back in the future. However we hope things go more smoothly. read more
