We stayed at Anderson Camp in late July with our 28' TT. We stayed in pull-thru site 15 with FHU. Site 15 was a corner site with plenty of grass and shade trees. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Cell service and the WiFi was good. The water slide and pools were a hit with the kids and the adults. We didn't get a chance to do the mini-golf. The campground is well maintained. The only downside was that the store and water slides close at 6pm on Sundays. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. read more

Don't waste your money! Planned a get together with my out of state family and decided on renting 2 cabins at Anderson camp. I should have read the reviews before booking. I don't even know where to begin in explaining how awful our experience was. We paid $80 a night per cabin, plus a $25 refundable remote fee. When we called to book the cabins the person we talked to said it was private and that the spaces were apart so that we would have privacy but we were surrounded by RV spots. The pictures online are very misleading! On the site map it shows the cabins next to a stream with the doors facing the stream but that is not the case. The doors and the porch face the longterm RV spots which was not a nice view or private at all. The cabins were so HOT inside it was like sleeping in a sauna. Even tho there are 2 fans and windows you can open, it was so miserable, even at night! At 9pm I went to wash my hands in the sink inside the cabin and the sink started backing up. I found a plunger in the bathroom and when I tried using it in the sink a bunch of old stagnant, stinky, slimy and moldy water came up and you could tell it has been plugged up for a while. I had to call the after hours number and spoke to some lady who told me she would send the maintenance man over. About 20 min later he shows up stumbing all over the place, slurring his words and stinking like alcohol. He had the nerve to ask us "what we put down the sink" I told him we did not put anything down the sink and that obviously the sink had been plugged for a while. He then told me that he "has never had that happen in 7 years". I told him theres a first time for everything and that I was offended that he accused us of doing it. NO apology was given! After he fixed it he stumbled back out to his car and left. The cabins were dirty and full of cobwebs. Our fan quit working in the middle of the night, and in order to shut the light off without turning the ceiling fan off, we had to use the rickety chair to stand on in order to reach the chain to turn off the light. I called the next morning and talked to the "so called" manager and told her what happened....she didnt care. And again...no apology! She brought us another fan and said that the maintenenance man "her husband" was not drunk, he had just woke up....whatever lady, I know a drunk when I see one! For little more money we could have stayed at the KOA with AC, privacy and good customer service. To "Jason" the owner, your business has gone to downhill and you should either get rid of the clowns you have running it, or teach them some manners and how to treat their customers with respect. You should care more about how your customers are treated so they will actually have a good experience and come back. Do better!!! read more

Pretty grungy place, the lady was very nice tho! Which is always a plus! but the park it's self could use some major updates... they charge quite a lot for what u get... like others have said it is very loud being next to the fwy but also convenient if u don't want to stray out far. The place does smell like poop randomly and the long term side isn't very sightly. We stayed here one night. Was gonna be longer but wasn't worth it to sta longer. Pictures and website are very dedeceiving. The so called family fun park is sadly a joke. It should be included in ur stay for what it actually is. I would say that it's close to shoshon falls which is nice. I dnt reccomend staying here unless u really need a place for the night. read more

We had booked two nights,but left in the morning! Very very loud traffic noise, it's right by the freeway..All night long I'm not sure how anyone could sleep. Morning spray plane buss us heading to the fields ,apparently it's in the flying path for the! Sorry but we won't be back,or recommend this place. Best part was the nice gal in the office,however she couldn't explain why,I was signing off on the Park NOT being responsable for any damages??? Why would we be concerned or get damages parking in a campground there ,I've never been asked to sign a waiver..... She couldn't explain it either... The campground was empty but they wanted us to stay at the top of the hill, right close to the freeway! Very noisy. Asked to move to another site and were sent to one that was not at all level. Because there were soooo many open sites, we asked to have a level site and were told it would cost another $12 dollars! Again the campground was completely empty (except for full timers). Owner was very put out when we said we would be leaving! Asked for a refund, but because we had called ahead for availability, they had said they needed a credit card to hold the site (again completely empty), so begrudgingly the owner only gave us a partial refund!!! This place is fantastic but get here quick or all the spots will fill up! I am really impressed how popular this place is! The weather is barely warming up here in Idaho and already people are showing up by the handful. They have two pools, one of them included and Camp tuition so I'm told, and the other one is a small fee but has a waterslide! Super sweet little cabins or tent camping and tons of hook ups for RV/travel trailers! With a sweet little basic café, gift shop, and convenient store! Our favored is the Beautiful spacious pet area. We would not stay here again. This RV park earned the two stars because their basic facilities worked and the spots were a reasonable size. It was obvious when we saw the fuel prices at their little mini mart/office they weren't afraid to price gouge. They also wanted to charge extra for the kids to use the one chintzy waterslide. The free pool had pretty disgusting water and (looking back) I can't believe we swam in it. The facilities had obviously not been maintained at any point in the last 10 years- peeling paint, dirty, overall run-down. It was a real letdown because we tried to get there early with enough time for the kids to enjoy the pools and waterslide but were severely disappointed. When we first arrived at the office, the teenage woman couldn't be bothered to get off the phone. I waited quite a few minutes for her to check us in. My relatives tried to check in after us and finally gave up because she was on the phone. We had a problem with our site -- someone had spread their stuff across two. I called the office and was able to get the site next door. The WiFi was spotty. We went to the pool but you can't use the water slide unless you pay an additional fee, which seems kind of cheap. I noticed unsupervised kids in the pool. Also seems like there are permanent residents in the park and they like to smoke cigarettes. read more

Let me start off by saying that we go to the twin falls area several times a year. We have always stayed at the KOA about 8 miles away. Should be a 5 star review but we had a minor issue. This time we decided to stay at Anderson Camp. The sites were big and have a nice grass area at your front door. There is 50amp service. There was enough room in our spot for our 36 foot Rv and room for the Chevy suburban we rented. The campground overall was clean and quiet. There was some freeway noise but nothing major. The store was well stocked and had the ranch dressing we forgot to bring. Also had beer/wine/icees for the kids. We took advantage of the free pool and then paid for the mini golf and waterslide. One minor issue was the lack of supervision at the waterslide. There really should have been someone who works at the park who monitored the slide. Older kids were not waiting for the younger kids to get off the slide which resulted in my 3 year old getting kicked hard in the back from a 12 year old. Brought it to the attention of the workers who were less than concerned. I asked the kids to settle down but they refused and there were no parents around. By the lack of wrist bands on the kids who were causing the problems I assume they are locals and friends of the owners. My 10 year old was hit in the head by the same boys so I had to demand a refund. One of the workers was mouthy until she saw I was standing there listening about how she wasn't going to give me a refund. I assume it was the owner inside the store who ended up refunding the slide. As for the review about the crop duster, they were right on. But this time it was about 5 in the evening and we were outside eating dinner. It lasted about 15 minutes and the kids thought it was awesome. See picture. Over all it was a good stay and we will probably choose this place again over the KOA. We stayed here for two nights. There are several pros and a few cons. Here we go ;) Pros: AWESOME water slide for kids. They said it was super fast! Dumps them out in four feet of water and the entire pool ranges from 2-4 feet. That was really nice. There is a snack bar with some fun things for the kids. The spot we had was shaded and an end spot. We had trees for our hammock and also a picnic table. The showers were clean and a short walk away. Quiet campground, but we were there on a Monday and Tuesday. Cons: The charge for the water slide. $30.00 for a family of 5 (kind of a bummer) and that's per day. More if you want to add the mini golf. Lack of lounge chairs at the water slide pool (as in none). This campground is located right next to the freeway, which is pretty loud. And finally the pot holes. OMG, fill those suckers in! So, would we stay again? Absolutely! That water slide was such a hit for our kids that is all they wanted to do and all they asked to do the entire time. read more

This is a fun place to spend an hour or two, but not worth a cabin (granted, I've never rented one) I would not stay a night right by a highway. The "swimming pool" max depth is 4ft. There is another pool, but it costs extra to get in, even though it goes to 8ft. Just getting the pool is kinda boring. Not really much to do except walk in the pool and slide down the slide. The mini golf is somewhat better, but nothing to get too excited about. It's very cramped. There are not enough changing rooms or bathrooms. The staff is somewhat decent, but my brother put a quarter into the machine, and it stole it, yet the staff (two teenage girls) said "Oh well your out of luck." It's a quarter! Do you want that extra cent in your paycheck? Wow! Overall, Anderson Camp is slightly boring, has some selfish staff, and not very big. I would recommend this place if it was the only form of entertainment around. If it was up to swimming or historical sites. I'd choose historical sites. read more

Great campground on the main drag. We needed a place close to the freeway, and this place served us great. We were in the tent sites, which are WAY better than any KOA since there was plenty of room to spread out. The food is priced really well and all of the accommodations were perfect for our small family. Pool- good, playground - good, showers - good. Our tent site was really reasonable for just over $20. The RV park is well kept but be ready for the bill. Our site was clean and well shaded; which is important when it's hot. The park had a lot of great things for the kids but when we went to ask about the pools we were told we would be charged for the slide pool and needed wrist bands ($). Then we asked about miniature golf, that would cost money and needed a wrist band ($). We made the discussion that one child would use the slide while the other one would not. This meant we had be in separate pools. This does not work well when you are on a "family" vacation. If you can imagine I have now paid for our site ($), paid for slide use ($$) and paid to play mini golf ($$$$). My two night stay went from $80 to $120. Not to mention I have been charged twice but that is common after the bank stuff clears. The good parts: the camp is clean. The park has a nice air conditioned rest area you can order food or pick up a few things with a TV. The game room has lots of things to do with bathrooms but be ready to pay to play ($) . They also had snacks to purchase in the game room. The playground is really nice for the kids. Anderson's is a nice place to spend a day to recover from driving. It's well kept and it had things for the kids to do but if you are on a tight budget made sure you plan for everything. It's hard to say no when you hear the sound of the cash register; ching, ching, ching.... I completely forgot...they charged me for each child at check in. We have an RV that houses four people but I was charged for my two kids. Makes me wonder if they charge for pets too. read more

I'm sorry this RV Park gets negative reviews because we had a very nice experience here. I had to take off a star because it was a little close to the road (noise but easy to get to), and because our sewer was a bit uphill. Otherwise, it was quite nice. The WiFi was free, the roads were wide and well-maintained, and the grass around our site was green and lush. Supplies, propane and gas are available on site and a neighbor told us he comes here regularly from Nevada to load up on stuff from Costco. read more

One of the worst places we ever stayed, because of management. We made our reservations almost 4 months in advance & had 2 sites secured. We had requested the particular sites because it was right across from the dog park. Our 15 year old pup is blind & deaf & thought it would be easy on him. When we got there they had moved us to different sites & management wouldnt even talk to us, just told the sweet girl running the front our rig was too small for that space. Keep in mind THEY KNEW OUR SIZE & we are a 34' motorhome! It was obvious they were saving the spot for someone else, the camper that took the spot wasnt 26', and the other site we had reserved, the folks there looked as though they had been living there all summer. The bathrooms were a MESS, there was a dirty bandage that lay on the floor the whole time we were there so proof they dont clean the place. The so called hot springs swimming pool was a small concrete hole in the ground that was too cool to swim in & actually looked run down. I might add we visited with 2 other couples that had tried to make reservations online & before Anderson Campground called them back, they showed up after dark & since the park was almost empty they chose a site. After setting up camp they got an email that the place was full. TWO DIFFERENT COUPLES! Thats actually not all but enough. We were there Aug 2019. read more

We stayed at Anderson Camp RV Park for two night in one of their two room cabins. Upon arriving, we noticed the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned which is troubling with these Covid 19 times, there were several cobwebs inside and outside of our cabin and all the cabin windows were filthy. I swept the front porch and most of the cobwebs so our family could sit on the porch. On the first night we could not leave the 2nd bedroom window open since the window screen was missing. The next day I asked the manager (who seemed to not want to be bothered by my request) if she could replace the screen because the night before it was extremely hot with only a ceiling fan in that room.She said they didn't have any window screens and all the cabins were booked. We also noticed that both smoke detectors were missing in the cabin. Usually we love supporting family businesses but I would recommend spending $20 more per night and stay at the KOA that's a few miles away. Anderson Park has a ton of potential but needs a deep clean and a little upkeep. read more

Avoid at all cost. The two teenage girls that run the place are quite frankly ignorant and inept. First they locked themselves out of the office and could not get in. Calls to mom did not yelled to anything good. The falls are running at a 20 year high and are covered in the news now. The girls didn't know anything Abou them or even where they are (10 miles away and the #1 attraction in the area). Wifi is not free and works on a voucher system which they did not know how to do. At 2:30 am we had to move because the hookup outlets stopped working. The bathroom had no toilet paper. If this is the best campsite here, avoid camping in this area. read more

One of our stops on our cross country move, we reserved a tent spot in advance. When we got there we were tired, we were worried about the animals (great dane and cat) and it looked like rain, so we spent an extra 30 bucks for a sleeping cabin. On a weeknight it wasn't very busy and they gave us an extra RV spot for free so that we could very easily park our moving truck/trailer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It seemed like many of the residents had been there for a while or even lived there, but everyone was very nice. We got a bite to eat in the cafe (so cheap!) and took a dip in the "geothermal pool". The pool was not perfectly clean but it was deliciously warm. On site they also have laundry, an arcade, book exchange, video rentals, convenience store, gas, and putt-putt (1 round included with cabin rental). The most wonderful part was the hour or two I spent near dusk sitting at the picnic table outside our cabin. There was a little babbling brook, lots of green grass, and NO BUGS! It was awesome. Oh right, the cabin :) It was clean, had lots of working windows with screens to improve ventilation and a ceiling fan. We paid five dollars more for a "premium" cabin with electricity, sink and toilet, not really roughing it here! The beds weren't fabulous, and the biggest bed was a double, but much better than sleeping on the ground. Altogether, traveling with pets is really a challenge, and this turned out to be a great solution for us. We didn't have to pay a fortune to let us sleep with us, and they were safe and happy, as were we! We'll definitely stop here again should our travels bring us back this way. read more

Stopped here on the way to a dog show. Absolutely loved it! Large, gorgeous green grass fields with tall shade trees and lots of space. Folks were nice and best of all with six show dogs traveling with us, the place was pet friendly. I would highly recommend this park to anyone. I wish I had checked the reviews on Yelp before we rented a cabin here. Instead I had checked google and either they were old reviews or the reviews were fake as this place has new owners. They had a 14 year old girl running the snack bar. We rented a cabin with a toilet and sink. Upon checking into our cabin we found the porch dirty, with old rugs on it. The room itself had candy and candy wrappers on the floor and dirt etc. We complained and the nice girl that checked us in who seemed overwhelmed quickly swept it out (leaving some trash under the beds) and sprayed disinfectant. (The photos I posted were after it was cleaned) There was no shade on that cabin and it was very hot. Next we checked the bathrooms which I wish we had done before we paid. My husbands was filthy and no door on the shower. The women's bathroom also stunk and there was a bit of trash on the floor and a wooden door on the shower which I opened by mistake when someone was in there. Apparently there was no lock. My husband actually took a shower in that filthy bathroom. I choose to clean up in the sink in the room, not fun! The vinyl mattress covers looked like they hadn't been wiped off in sometime, so it was a creepy feeling putting out sleeping bags on it and just wandering what else was hidden that we couldn't see. The drapes that were hung in our room did not cover the windows, some were crooked, some were different sizes. Yeah it was so fun cleaning myself up in the sink when you couldn't even fully close the drapes! If any of these things would bother you I don't recommend staying here. We were told the KOA in Twin Falls was redoing their bathrooms and had temporary bathrooms at the time which was a few days ago. Otherwise we would have stayed there. We definitely will never stay here again. I barely slept and woke up at 6am when we had to drive 12 hours home and said let's get out of here. read more

Came to Southern Idaho to escape the heat in Las Vegas for a few days and found Anderson's on the Good Sam app. We requested a space away from the water park as we do not have small kids. We had a difficult and long white knuckle drive due to high winds and were exhausted. I even called to say we would be later than expected and why. This rv park is very grassy, shady and the grounds are well maintained by the lovely gentleman groundskeeper, Gary. Gary was the nicest person here. He's the reason for my single star. My husband and I went to see the site assigned to us and did not like that it was right by the dumpster and on the east side of the park where the water park is located. When I went back to the office to request a different site, the owner told me if I didn't like it, I could go to the KOA down the road. Had we not been so wiped out from the 6 hour drive I would have but a young woman working there offered me four other sites to choose from. I don't think the owner's comment was appropriate for someone in the hospitality industry and she probably should limit her interaction with guests in the future. The rate was several dollars higher than other resorts but does not include the normal extras, like wifi. Here you have to pay $5.99 a day for the privilege. Considering that wifi service in the most expensive markets is about $29 a month and she has 63 spaces, I think she's just plain greedy. Coffee is not complimentary either. I learned from young moms here that access to the pool is also an additional fee. The playground equipment is from the 70s so don't expect much for the kids to do while you're here. read more

While planning for our summer road trip to visit the area national parks we saw that we could camp in a covered wagon. The campground is very nice. It has cabins a lot of RV spots, two pools and a little water park. Everything seems clean and well maintained. It was a cool experience sleeping in the covered wagon. The covered wagon being soft sided the only downfall was the noise from I-84 was unbearable, so we didn't get a lot of sleep. read more

We arrived here and were given a spot in almost complete sun, and no picnic table. When I went to ask for a picnic table I was told that not every site has one, but we will try and get you one. We were all hooked up when our power stopped working, my husband attempted to flip the breaker but it turned back off again soon after. We plugged in to an empty site that I was told when I checked in was just "a grassy area". My husband went up to talk to the same lady that we had just spoken to about the picnic bench. When he told her about the problem with the power she told him that he should have told her sooner (we had just arrived maybe 20 minutes ago), then she told him that he couldn't just plug in to the other site. She was down right rude. Oh, and make sure that you obtain a wristband in order to swim in the pool (only one of them is included with your stay). If you want to use the water slide in the other pool it is extra money. Internet is also not included, you will have to pay extra for that as well. read more

The most disgusting place I've ever stayed. DO NOT STAY HERE. The owners let DRUNK DRIVERS DRIVE THROUGH THE PARK... Almost killed my children ...police came. The owners asked me to leave their re-grand opening because I brought my 7 week old yellow lab puppy. They tried to evict our neighbors after their spot was paid in full for the month. THEY LEFT FOR 3 DAYS TO GO TO YELLOWSTONE. When They came back.... The owners called the police on them and police told them they have the right to stay because they are paid up. The owners kids walk their dogs every morning and let them poop in others yard and dont clean it up. But THE HAVE A STRICT POOP POLICY!! They let tweakers stay in their park. BE CAREFUL!! The bathrooms are always dirty and out of toilet paper, throw up on the toilets. It's the worst park I've ever been. The only positive thing is they have a sweet man working for them. If I was staying here again I would have to get a spot farther away from the highway. Since it is right off of the highway, you hear cars all day and night. This was half way from SLC, UT to Boise, ID and I wanted to spend time at Shoshone Falls and Dierke's Lake (great time there with the kids)... so I tried Anderson's Camp. If going westbound make sure not to take the first Eden exit like I did, it will be noticeably off the highway on the second exit. The management was extremely nice and helpful. I got a tent spot, which doesn't have as much shade as the RV and cabin spots, but got in at twilight so not sure about how that was during the day. They have large storm trees lining the west end, so that wouldn't give the shade needed during the day. Had some trouble finding an electric outlet to pump up my mattress and decided (instead of carying my mattress so far) to just throw down my tarp and my sleeping bag (grass was awesome and had no earwigs or bugs disturb me). They had the "old fashioned" playground by the tent sites with a wooden teetertotter that made me nervous (3 of my kids needed bandaides within 10 minutes). Their newer playground was awesome. I had 5 kids from 3 to 13 with me so we headed to the small pool 4' to 8' (warm, but not as warm as I was expecting for a geothermal pool) and that was fun. Kids were disappointed to find there was an outrageous $8/$5 fee to go in the other small pool with the water slide. I would have spent the same amount on that as the camp site, which was not an option. I would be more willing to spend $3/$1 instead. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Would like to see them a bit closer to the campsites. I was the closest site and it was still a block away- not good for little kids with small bladders. I didn't eat there, mini-golf or hang out in their game room so I can't comment on that. Camp sites only had one picnic table and so that would be a nice addition to the camp spots. Close to the highway so if you're sensitive to sound there is constant traffic going by...but probably only noticable in a tent (or tarp like me). Overall I was very pleased with Anderson's camp for a quick stop to sleep. Would definately recommend it. The sunset was georgeous! and Hansen Bridge is just a minute away and the Falls and lake 10 miles away. read more

All people seem to want to do any more is whine and complain about something or another, they think they have coming to them. Apparently, some are not real observant, since there are (2) playground areas and one is far from the 70's, but then some people like to talk about things they know nothing of, absolutely no common sense. Hmmm, there are also (2) separate pools, one for campers at no extra charge and one that has a slide and OMG! they charge an extra fee for this pool. How do people who always expect something for nothing think businesses survive? Common sense says, it isn't by giving everything away. I have travelled extensively and I know what expensive is, you have got to be joking, apparently one hasn't had such a privilege to know what expensive is at an RV park! Can one not live without Wi-Fi while on vacation? Do people know what the meaning of a vacation is anymore? Why bother going to the actual destination for ones vacation, when one has Wi-Fi at ones fingertips!! Shit happens, nothing in life is spot on, good days and bad days exist, reviews I have found are pretty useless, especially when you read reviews from nit pickin gotta bitch about something non-happy individuals who just hate life so they gotta have something to constantly complain about. Did you ever think about why the owner might be so down right bitchy, maybe its because they have to deal with people who complain about the smallest things and just can't figure out how to make the best of it just to be able to laugh about it later on in life! Stay home if you can't afford to spend like the Hollywood stars, but my guess is there will always be those people that no one can please and nothing will ever be good enough! If I was the owner and there is a reason I would never want to be in a position like that, people who bitch about what exactly? I wouldn't have a business last long, I would tell the bitchers, complainers and the miserable people of the world where they could go and it wouldn't be the KOA down the road, even that's to good for people like that! This is for all the businesses who try hard but have those days that things don't always work out just to please other people. The lady, whom one could rob easily, because she doesn't have a clue what it is to be observant, has never ran a business nor has she had kids or she would know what it was like to run a business and wouldn't complain about what she complained about, one being a lie (maybe her whole review was a lie) was the 70's playground because the new playground isn't hard to miss if they gave you a site near the water slide and kids would be happy with a cardboard box, hell with even the 70's playground. Get your facts straight, the man named Gerry not Gary is one of the owners and yes he is very helpful but so is the woman who also owns the place is also a very kind generous woman, but go in with an attitude when the owners have how many other people to please besides you and see if you get what you want! The customers who go in with a complaint without an attitude, find out they are the ones who get treated with respect. If you give respect you will get respect!
