My review is for carry out. My order arrived fresh & on time. So excited to see Del Rancho today, my first time since leaving Oklahoma 12 years ago. 1st, the only positive thing to say is that the flavor was good. That's it. The chicken fried steak and chicken were beaten so thin that parts of it didn't have any meat. It was almost all breading. The French fries were the frozen Ore Ida ones. The price for small portions was also ridiculous! $12 for a sandwich and it didn't come with fries. The server came over 3 times in 3 minutes asking if we were ready to order. We finally just gave up. We won't be back. So disappointed. We used to enjoy it here. I love chicken fried steak. It is one of my favorite foods. I have lived in Oklahoma all my life. Why have I never tried Del Rancho? My husband has been saying we should try it, so I stopped in and picked up a to go order. The staff was very friendly, and got the order out to me fast. Food was piping hot even when I got home with it. I got the chicken fried steak meal with mashed potatoes, Texas toast and fried okra. All was delicious! Every time we go to home in Oklahoma, I go to a local chain that I grew up with. Del Rancho has easily one of the best chicken fried steak sandwiches. And they're huge! To the point they now offer a smaller version of it. They also serve it a a dinner. Their sides, green beans, fries, fried okra(which can be ordered extra crispy), mashed potatoes are excellent, as is their gravy. They also have other things like hamburgers, chicken fried chicken, hot link sandwich. Their variety of salads are excellent, their homemade ranch dressing is to die for. The restaurant in Midwest City has a cozy atmosphere, and service is excellent and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're passing through Oklahoma City. Several locations. read more

If your coming to this location for fried pickles then you might as well turn around. They don't offer them here. Other wise the establishment is clean and well kept. The staff are warm and welcoming. Food isn't very seasoned, but its cooked to order. The sweet tea is southern style. So if you like yours sweet, you'll like the way they make it here. read more

Recently I was passing through OKC on a road trip with my brother when I decided we should try and find it to see for ourselves.  The place is still there, and the steaks were still that big...and my mother was right, maybe the best fried steak sammich I've ever had... Ratings Breakdown: Steak Sandwich: 5 Stars  Everything was great, from the steak to the bun.  No complaints.  Not even a quibble. Fries: 4 Stars The fries were those extra crispy battered fries that are so popular right now which I don't care for but were good anyway.  I wish more restaurants would go back to just regular fries. Let me tell y'all that lil supreme sandwich was AMAZING! First, if that was the little sandwich I really hate to see what the big sandwich looks like. That little sandwich was almost too much for me, but I heard that the regular sandwich the steak literally hangs off the entire bun. A little intimidating for me! Del Rancho is an Oklahoma staple. This location just can't quite figure it out. From consistently incorrect orders (including drink orders) to leaving customers waiting to be greeted or placing an order they just don't seem to care. Such a shame. We do however drive over to the 10th street location much farther away with less convenient parking to be greeted immediately by friendly staff and taken care of like family. I really wish this location would get it right. None of my coworkers will come here anymore although I still keep trying it occasionally today it was the same lackluster service. read more

This is my husband's go-to when I don't feel like cooking because..... Chicken Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes & Gravy! I usually opt for the Lil' Steak Sandwich Supreme Sandwich with Onion Rings. There are some other things on the menu but really - why? Sweet tea with lemon just tops it all off. We've eaten here several times in its many locations and I can say the quality of the foods was just as expected, on point. Was excited to try them at this location , don't remember the servers name because they never gave it to us. I ordered a cheese burger and fries. My husband ordered cheese burger and onion rings. When the food came out my burger was completely wrong . Some kind of double meat chuck burger with no veggies, so they took that back to correct. My husbands looked fine, onion rings were a bit over cook but has a decent flavor. He said his burger was tough, mine came back out and all they did was take one patty off. Sent it back and waited forever for a regular cheese burger, mean time I tried my fries they were ok but not great tasted old. Burger took about 5 more minutes by them my husband had finished and I was done. Just wanted to leave. I did get a to go box so I could take it home to give to my dog, and the server did remove the charge for the cheese burger. We will not be back. read more

This Place is Fantastic. I am absolutely thrilled that they put a Del Rancho in this area of Midwest City. It is nice to know I can get a Decent Chicken Fried Steak up the street now. Just a side note this place blows Chuck House out of the water in terms of quality and Consistency.
