Half of the things I needed I didn't get at Jiffy Lube because the price was already 125 just for the oil change alone. But I needed an air filter and one of my headlights was out. It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. Actually, everyone was but I wouldn't have been able to remember all of their names lol but I specifically wanted to shout out Alex and Cadence. A few months later, I had a pretty bad vibration in the front end. They diagnosed it as a warped rotor, turned both front rotors and everything was fine. A few more months later, the vibration came back. They diagnosed it again as a warped rotor and replaced both front rotors this time because they could not be turned again. Another month went by and guess what, the vibration was back. This time they said the rotors "looked fine" and it was a loose tie rod end. They replaced the tire rod end and did an alignment. As I was paying for it, the mechanic brought out my keys and said there was still vibration, but I needed to buy higher quality rotors, maybe titanium. So at least one of the rotors that "looked fine" was still warped. They chose the rotors that were installed. I was not asked, nor given an option for higher quality. This is a midsize SUV, not a high-performance vehicle that would need titanium rotors. So now I still have a warped rotor and I'm gonna have to pay somebody else to do a brake job with quality parts. Never going back.

After calling for weeks and getting the run around, my father went up to the 84th L location where the truck was still sitting outside which they had told me it was going to be towed to another location (65th L) where they have been working out of due to storm. The next day they magically contacted me and said my ignition module and ABS module were bad. Not once after they did the diagnostics to determine those modules were bad did they bring up the brake booster, which would've showed when they hooked the vehicle to the computer to determine the modules were bad!. Had a prior diagnostic done from the Jeep dealership which the brake booster did not show up as needing to be replaced, only showed lost communication to a module. Took about two weeks to repair. Paid $2500, when I picked up my vehicle all these lights were on my dash which wasn't on there when I dropped my truck off. Brake light, Airbag, and mile odometer was flashing. They advised when I picked up my vehicle that something was wrong with my brake booster, which is connected to the ABS module they said they had to replace. I requested to see the old modules to ensure they were replaced and they were not provided. Prior to this they told me they were having a hard time programming the ABS module. I still reiterated that the lights on my dash were not there when I towed the vehicle to them. They advised for additional $1200 they can repair the brake booster that they damaged.

First, let me say I would probably give 4.5 stars…read more.. I've been coming here for at least 4-5 years and routinely get service on my car which now has over 275,000 miles on it. Let me highlight a few things. Mechanics/specialists are generally very friendly and polite. Really haven't had any issue whatsoever. Their service is fast and it seems to be pretty thorough with fluid top ups, tire pressure, light checks, in addition to the oil change. I get the synthetic brand which tends to be a bit more expensive but I think is better for my older vehicle. This place gives you a FREE car wash to the Cornhusker Auto Wash which is about two blocks south of the location and provides an excellent wash!! Like most oil change places, they always pull the cabin and air filter to show you how 'dirty' it is and encourage replacement. I order my filters off Amazon and change them myself. Normally, I let them know when I pull in not to bother checking both and they don't argue or try to convince me otherwise. I like that. Here's the one thing that they have now done the last 3 times in that I do NOT like and cost them .5 star. While I am waiting, an attendant will bring my oil cap in to show me (dirt/debris/sludge) etc. etc. on the inside of the cap and encourage me to purchase a 'detergent cleanse' for the engine. DO NOT DO THIS. The 'gunk' you sometimes see in the cap is normal. If it's black sludge, then you might have an issue. Also, nearly ALL synthetic oils already have a detergent added in. One other thing, on engines with high mileage, cleaning the deposits off the engine can lead to problems from the loosened parts clogging oil passages. It's a money grab. Don't do it. I really wish they would stop this upsell as it makes me trust them less.

Here's a firm but fair version: I really wanted to have a positive experience with this shop. The communication was great, and everyone I dealt with seemed very genuine. In fact, a friend in the industry described them to me as "not the cheapest, but fair and not crooks." Unfortunately, my experience with their pricing left me extremely disappointed. I was charged approximately $3,100 to replace one headlight, including labor. I questioned the cost of the part at the time and was told that was simply what it cost. However, when I submitted the claim to my insurance company, they actually called me to confirm that I had only had one headlight replaced because the cost of the part was roughly double what they expected. My claims adjuster then contacted the shop directly and was told that there was a 128% markup on the part. The shop would not adjust the price, and as a result, my insurance company would not reimburse me for the full amount. I understand that businesses need to mark up parts and make a profit, and I don't expect any shop to be the cheapest. But a 128% markup on such an expensive part, especially after I specifically questioned the price and was simply told that was what the part cost, does not feel fair to me. We live in a small community, and I believe we should be able to trust and support our local businesses. I appreciated the communication and professionalism I received, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Based on the pricing and the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this shop and would strongly encourage others to compare parts pricing and ask specifically about markup before authorizing expensive repairs.
