BP is located in a small strip mall, but it is easy to find. We were quickly seated in the 1/2 full dining room upon arrival. Service was quick and attentive. We ordered fresh spring rolls which were very tasty. I ordered Larb Kai. They let you select both spiciness and bitterness levels. The Larb was very good. And it included plenty of lettuce and huge serving of purple sticky rice. My wife enjoyed her noodle salad bowl with mixed meat. Had a craving for Pad Thai and even though our previous experience here was less than stellar, it's close to home so we gave it another try. Called in the order and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes, when my husband arrived to pick it up, he waited at the counter, unacknowledged, for several minutes and then had to wait another 20 minutes for the food. The little bit of chicken that was mixed in was bone dry and they didn't even use the correct noodles, substituting vermicelli for rice noodles. Came in around 1:50PM on a Sunday. It was moderately packed, busy and not enough workers. But we got sat down in about 5 minutes. Waiter told us that there would probably be a 15 minute wait before we were served. No problem for me, trying to help the busy stressed staff as much as we could. Anyways, we ordered spring rolls, papaya, and their special pho. Their spring rolls are definitely top 5 I've had before. The ingredients used are fresh! And the rice wrap is so nice and soft. The peanut sauce is great! 10/10. Their special pho is also really good! Great broth flavor, but it is a lighter taste compared to other pho's I've had. I added some peanut sauce from the spring rolls and MAN!!! That hit. I recommend adding that peanut sauce they have to your pho. 7.6/10! Papaya was good, but nothing special. We got it with 2 peppers. Okay flavor, good portion size for 2 people. 5.5/10. Due to the amount of customers and little staff, we weren't able to get our drinks refilled. But no biggie I understand. Maybe because during the time they were closed because of Governor's order they probably took that time and improved their food and menu as well. Love the food and service here. My favorite appetizers to get are either the egg rolls or Asian style chicken wings. My go to entrees are either the house drunken noodles or the basic Hmong sausage. One of my favorite drinks would have to be the cream sodas; green and red are both good! Food comes out pretty quick. The food is always so good that I forget to take a picture before eating. Fantastic pho, good prices, and friendly service. Our go-to pho place. Don't understand how this little gem gets overlooked.

So far really authentic Isan Lao food. Just started eating here. The few things I've had were traditionally seasoned, you can pick your heat level too. I particularly love the papaya salad, som tom. They serve it in three versions, American, no idea what it tastes like as I'd never order a Thai Lao dish seasoned for the American palate. The Thai version and the Laotian version, more fish sauce, are perfectly put together with lime, tomatoes and peanuts. Another favorite S/E Asian dish is larb. Laab is a mined meat dish seasoned with several flavorful ingredients including lime juice, fish sauce, shallots and cilantro. I ordered both headed to chili level 3, this may be a bit under traditional but it doesn't overwhelm all the other flavors. These two dishes served here are as good as you'll get in most restaurants in the Isan provinces of Thailand and Laos. My next visit to Bangkok Pho Will have me ordering some of the sausage that's on the menu. Most of the rest of the menu is typical Thai restaurant fare. The staff I've dealt with our enthusiastic about their food. The decor is sparse but who cares when the kitchen is that good. read more

This place is as legit as it gets with Southeast Asian cooking! Their pho is probably the best amongst others in the area! Plenty of broth, noodles and meats to go along with their rich and savory Pho broth! Their papaya salads are fresh and crisp! We always order their raw beef laab, extra spicy and bitter along with their perfectly cooked sticky rice! The egg rolls are a must order as it is full and flavorful! I eat here all the time. I love this place! My favorite dish is the chicken larb, no bitter, no tripe, and just a little spicy! The drunken noodles and lo mein noodles are the best I've ever had! Big portions at a great price. The papaya salad, spring rolls, and egg rolls are also delicious. And I'm forgetting about the Dragon roll and Conover rolls... YUM! My family loves the Duck larb. The Thai Tea is good but a little too sweet for my liking. I still probably wouldn't choose to get pho here just because it's very bland. Food was decent. Waitress was attentive. HOWEVER, I was not informed of a service charge so be aware if you have 6+ ppl there is a 15% charge in additional to regular tip. Trust me I eat out at different restaurants 80% each week and honestly I have never seen a service charge that wasn't a tip to the waitress. I typically tip at very bare minimum 20% so no issue with paying these hardworking, underpaid waitstaff and I am used to seeing an automatic gratuity for more than 6 people. I guess disappointed that I was not aware of this additional charge and by law It appears that this needs to be known to the customer and whether partial amount will be given to waitstaff due to how the restaurant will have to do taxes. WORST PHO EXPERIENCE EVER!!! First time coming in. We will NEVER be back. Service was absolutely awful!!! Tables were a mess with not a soul in sight. It took 15 minutes just to get our drinks!! Then, we ordered the Combination Papaya, maybe it was good, but they made it SOOOO spicy that we couldn't eat it, and we LOVE spicy. Also, we had asked for a mild/medium. When we told them it was too spicy and not what we requested they just laughed and walked away. The other food was decent at best, definitely not worth the terrible experience though. Came back to give it another try and its was great they have improved alot. I order last time and complained about not much meat but now there was more meat and broth is tasty. This is definitely my favorite pho place to go now. I I thier chili oil better than pho777. The papaya was good and the amount of papaya was huge like it's will be good enough for 5 people to eat. Definitely coming back soon... order their fried rice and its improved alot too yum only complaint is pad thai didn't seem like pad thai but dry stir fry noodles. I'm giving this place 1 star because the pho was very bland and had a strong star anise taste. Definitely not the pho broth you're looking for. For a place that has "pho" in their name, I wish it was better or atleast the "star of the show." Papaya is way too sweet.Their eggroll sauce was literally just poured from the sweet and sour bottle. Their fish is very bland with little to no taste. Our waitress messed up our order and of course we had to pay for it even though we didn't order it. I know they have made customers pay for unwanted food and food customers have sent back because on their menu they write that you have to pay for the food once it's made. Bangkok pho never disappoints, we frequent many of the fantastic restaurants in the hickory area but since this one opened it has quickly become one of our favorites. The kitchen is obviously staffed with very talented chefs, each dish is cooked and spiced to perfection. The portions are very generous but also plenty affordable, I can't imagine what food of this quality would cost in a big city.
