This place is not bad, but not great. The options are limited in this area for Vietnamese food. If you want some Pho, you're basically forced to come here cuz I think this is the only place in the region (which is sad). If you have travelled anywhere out of Louisiana and had Vietnamese food, you'll realize that this place isn't all that. But....you take what you can get. The Pho is decent. Not bad. Hooray! I found this place by searching for Vietnamese; I'm a Pho fan (Pho Phan?? ... :/ okay no) and I'm a traveler by occupation, so I'm constantly trying new places. This place has only the classic option for Pho and the Tom Sum for soups, but she does the Pho right. I'll say I definitely agree with a previous reviewer who mentioned the crab meat and ice burg spring rolls as less than perfect, but I WILL say that I'm happy with every other dish I've had from her. The service is friendly, the place is still inaccurately pinned by google maps (pretend you're going to that CVS and it's just behind it) but if you're not going for shrimp dishes specifically, I recommend it. As a plus, they offer the options for spice level for each dish and include a "Thai hot," which I don't believe is really quite that level, but definitely a good spice for someone who enjoys spicy. Very ambient place, nice vegetarian options, the waiter was very helpful to advise on the best veggie dishes, and tailored it for us. Portion size is bit small for the price paid, but if they could add more veggies, that will be great. Will visit again. read more

After reading the reviews, I came here for Pho. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. To begin with, the noodles were not Pho noodles. They were very thin rice noodles that were mushy and overcooked. The meat that it comes with is flank steak, meatballs, and tendon. Again, the meat was very overcooked...so much so that the flank steak tasted like pot roast and the tendon was like eating soft beef fat. The broth was bland...definitely not anything that's been simmering for hours, just some beef broth with onions and cilantro. Don't waste your $11...this is not Pho. The service was good, and the crispy rolls were tasty. A few people at the table had curry dishes, and my husband had the Tom Yum with seafood. The dishes were OK, but there was nothing spectacular about the food here. It was a little pricey in my opinion (we spent $100 on 5 people at dinner). Best Asian food in town. If your looking for a sit down and order off a menu Asian restaurant this is the place. Bangkok rice is excellent. They have the best Pho I've ever tasted. You know it's good when served with hoisin sauce. General Tso's was great and the California rolls were excellent. read more
