Came here during the week and my order was ready for carry out. The restaurant is very nice inside. It doesn't have a lot of seating so maybe not great for larger parties but it is very nice inside. The food was pretty good and well portioned. We tried something new and probably should have stuck with something more familiar. We tried the Bangkok Street Spicy noodles. It wasn't very spicy and I wasn't a fan of the flat long noodles. It was still tasty though. We also tried the creamy peanut butter curry and it was ok. Go with the green or red curry which are better. However we have tried the standard lemongrass soup and coconut based soup. Both here were good and flavorful but not as hearty as some other places. Ordered for pickup, we got the drunken noodle, pad thai, cashew chicken and some spring rolls. 1/5 - Drunken noodles these are by far the worst drunken noodles i have had. They were dried, not enough sauce, noodles were overly cooked so they were broken into pieces. Did not look and taste good. 2/5 - Pad Thai This was a lot better compared to the drunken noodles in terms of flavor but as far as noodles go, it's the same deal. Overly cooked to the point where the noodles are broken into pieces. 4/5 - Cashew Chicken Was the most decent thing out of the stuff we ordered. Tastes more like chinese food than thai. It reminds me of the fire cracker chicken from panda express. Favor is there, chicken could have been a little more crispier but it's not bad. 3/5 - Spring rolls Comes in 3 rolls, it was ok, bigger rolls than most other places, taste wise was ok, nothing special about it. Went here to try a new Thai place and it didn't disappoint. It's in an easy to get to location. It was easy to order on the phone. Clean inside. I ordered Togo. Spring rolls were yummy but eat the same day unless you have an air fryer to get them crispy again. I got the Pad Thai Thalay it was sooooooo good next time I'll ask for an extra crab. My brother and I went to check out this place. There's plenty of parking surrounded by other businesses on Rt. 234 and Van Buren Rd, off 95. The restaurant itself is small, clean and friendly staff. They been in business for about a year. We ordered 5 dishes: 1) Beef salad 2) Beef massaman curry 3) Beef rad na 4) Mango sticky rice 5) Coconut custard sticky rice. The beef salad was tangy, delicious and refreshing.. a must item to get. The beef curry, we asked for the "Thai spice" and it didn't disappoint. The beef rad na was delicious, meat was tender and the gravy was flavorful. It was just missing a little heat which we will ask next time. The mango and custard with sticky rice was on point. With these two desserts must get but be careful, they are fresh and come out steaming hot. We definitely will make a return visit. read more

I'm a big fan of Thai food, and this place didn't disappoint! We got carryout and ordered cashew chicken, Yakisoba, Panang curry, and basil fried rice- everything was really good. Didn't even get a chance to take pictures because we dug in right away! The customer service was friendly too. Twice now I've ordered Thai from here, and I haven't been disappointed. I've tried their spring rolls, chicken satay, Thai beef jerky, and crab rangoon from their appetizer menu. All of it was delicious, but I was really impressed by the Thai beef jerky. It had a nice seasoning to it that gave it a subtle kick, and the red chili sauce it was paired with really kicked the flavor up a notch. For entrées, I've tried the pad Thai and spicy green chicken curry. The pad Thai was good and flavorful, but the green curry was AWESOME. Spicy, tasty, filling. Everything you would want a curry to be (and you can order to your preferred spice level). Beverage-wise, I ordered a Thai tea both times, and it really hit the spot. A strong tea flavor with a mix of spices in it. All in all, this place offers great food at a reasonable price. I look forward to ordering from them more in the future. read more

The restaurant employees do well considering how busy it can get with limited staff. I think this is a sort of hidden gem in Woodbridge that anyone who likes Thai but isn't committed to the high price point at the Stonebridge Thai restaurant and potentially intimidating atmosphere there. Bangkok Street Thai Restaurant is a very casual experience perfect for those who feel uncomfortable or out of place in fine dining settings or the bar scene. Since moving from Chicago, I've been on a mission to find my beloved Pad Woon Sen, why is finding good Thai food in the DC area so hard? Enter Bangkok Street Thai, stage left. The Pad Woon Sen was delightful! It was tasty and simple, though I did miss the mini corn, snap peas, and large onions from back home. Here, it was cabbage, carrots, and possibly a hint of onion. Still, it was delicious and filled the Chicago-sized hole in my heart. We also ordered the Bangkok St. Veggie Dumplings, which were like crispy little nuggets of heaven and to me the stand out star! My husband, who had never tried Thai food before, was so impressed, he wants to add Bangkok Street Thai to our regular rotation. We were both stuffed halfway through and can't wait for leftovers tomorrow. We don't order out much because the local food scene has been a bit of a letdown, but now we've found our new favorite spot! They are affordable, tasty, and have top-notch customer service. The Tom Ka Gai soup is terrible. They include the woody part of the lemongrass and it has no mushrooms and almost no chicken. I know because I've had this twice, once mistakenly after the first awful occasion, because my roommate said he was going to order Thai and it's part of my standard Thai order, he didn't mention where he was ordering from and I didn't think to ask. First and foremost, this place was welcoming and clean!!! So we decided to sit down and eat. It's a local place - well kinda local ...and so decided to try this place down in Dumfries, VA. Bangkok Street Thai, we started off with the crispiest spring rolls filled with veggies and vermicelli noodles that came duck sauce. The other appetizer was Jerky Pork which was crispy without being dry. The entrees were drunken noodle with beef, could have been spicier for me, the Perfect Ginger beef and Pad Prik King Beef with crunchy green beans and nice and spicy both served with white rice. We will be back to try more menu items. The AC did kick on and we were freezing so taking away one star because we left.
