Drinks were tasty and you can take to go if you don't finish. We were seated quickly and received our food pretty quick too. Parking can be a bit tough here if you have a larger suv. I had the Paella Mexicano and although the shrimp and chicken were seasoned well, the steak was a bit bland and I realized that I don't like chorizo (too salty). Whatever, it was really tasty and we wound up with an extra taco so I guess that's a win. Not to be confused with the El Paso in Woodbridge. I tried El Paso for the first time the other day, and let me tell you, their food is delicious. I ordered take out, so I can't comment on what the dine-in experience is like. The order came with a small side of chips and salsa, and my only complaint is that I would have liked the salsa to have a little kick to it. It was tasty, but no kick to it at all. For my meal, I ordered the Mole Tots, the Loaded Fries, and the Birria Tacos. The Mole Tots are just that: tater tots smothered on mole sauce. These were fantastic. The mole on the tots was savory and had a nice low-level heat to it. The loaded fries were drenched in toppings, and I chose to add chorizo. Very filling, and very flavorful. The birria tacos were good, but didn't knock my socks off. I really wanted to be blown away by them, but wasn't. They were delicious, for sure, but not as awesome as I would have liked. I ordered online and picked up. The food was ready quickly, I took it and left. I was happy that the serving of chips and salsa were a one person serving. Not the best I ever had, but not bad. When you enter though, you might feel a mental transport to Mexico simply because of the decor and the food aroma! I had the taco salad with carne asada. I don't think I've had a salad like that and I say this in a good way. There was very little vegetable stuff (like lettuce, tomato, chiles). The tortilla bowl was filled with carne asada! Yup! Very little cheese and I didn't get any guacamole but Yup! a big serving of the carne asada. My lunch partner had a dish, I think steak and eggs and it was also a huge portion. Since I was there for lunch and facing a long day and night ahead of me, I opted OUT of the margaritas (and YUP! the table next to me had a margarita and it looked delicious) So, I'm saving that for my next visit.
