Where to begin?? With so many positive things to say about Heather and the team at Bangz, I may run out of room! Do not wait! Book them for your wedding ASAP!!! I would give 10 stars if I could. We had 8 people getting hair done and 3 or 4 people getting makeup and/or eye lashes. Heather and her team were absolutely incredible. Since we were getting married locally and getting ready in an air bnb near New Hope, we decided to go directly to the Bangz shop instead of paying for additional on-site travel. Either way though, their prices are so reasonable and fair and the quality is amazing! They can do some the coolest styles I've ever seen and are a one-stop shop for all things styling. Heather even provided us with complimentary breakfast, juices, coffee, tea, and prosecco while we were in the shop getting our services done. In additional to all these great features - she is one of the coolest, nicest, people I have ever met. She so in tune with her clients wants and needs and has a sixth sense for that special something detail to be added For example, my trials went pretty well, but when she could tell I wasn't completely sold on the look I had chosen, she came up with new ideas and fun options to turn it into one I 110% loved. I will be forever grateful to her for helping me and working through things with me and making me feel beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you SO SO much Heather for everything. I am so glad I found this place! I was looking to get my hair done on a random Monday that I took off from work, but it turns out almost all salons in the area are closed on Mondays. (is this a thing I don;t know about?) Regardless, I am super glad that Bangz happened to be open. I moved to PA from CA a few years ago and have yet to find "my salon." I was bouncing between different places and literally never left completely satisfied with my hair and often ended up getting so frustrated that I would just use box dyes at home (bad idea by the way if you have dark Asian hair). After my visit to Bangz, it was solidified that I had found "my salon." 1. This is literally the first time that I walked into a salon with a picture and walked out with exactly that. 2. I've gotten SO many compliments on my hair. Both from girls and guys! In fact my friend who moved out to CA from PA (haha yes, we switched states) is super excited to come back here in the summer to visit her parents and get her hair done here too. 3. I got full highlights/ombre and a cut which took 4 hours! Mark was super friendly the entire time and repeatedly offered me tea, water, coffee, and cookies. He was very careful to repeatedly check in with me on what I wanted and even corrected what I didn't like about my hair from the last time I got it done (at a different place). 4. You'd think for 4 hours of working on my hair, I would have paid an arm and a leg right? I believe my total came to $185 before tip which is awesome! I've paid $300-400+ to have my hair cut and colored before and left unhappy with my hair so this was amazing. 5. As my friend said after I told her about my experience at Bangz: "the customer service is on point." I was sent home with a little goodie bag as a new client and received a post card in the mail about a week later from Mark. I also noticed that a lot of the ladies who came in were treated like old friends. The stylists knew their names and what they usually had done to their hair. Looking forward to building a relationship like this with future visits. 6. The salon itself is super cute and cozy. Also they sell R&Co which I love so that's a mini plus for me. We chose this salon for my wedding day and I'm so beyond happy we did! Heather was a total pleasure to work with - quick to respond and thoroughly answered every question I had. Since there were many of us going for hair and makeup, they closed the salon so it was just me and my ladies. Soooo... I went for Ouidad haircut ( which is $100). I went to see Gillian back in December. I hadnt given my hair a good chop in literally almost a decade . I shared this with Gillian and I felt she was very cautious and considerate. I left the salon feeling confident that I had gotten exactly what i asked for...... Last week, however, my experience was quite different. I had shown Gillian pictures and had lengthy conversation. " I know exactly what you want", she said. Well, she butchered my head. I must've emphasized numerous times, "not THAT short", referring to a picture, depicting the STYLE, but not the length. I feel like she started out knowing what I wanted, but the scissors took over and i left there feeling anything but satisfied. When diffused my hair, she insisted in promoting a beach wave look, and not poofy ringlets. Yes, bc you cut my hair way shorter then what we discussed. The ringlets would empathize just how short my hair cut turned out to be. Nice staff, cool environment. When it became obvious that I was freaking out about my new hair length, the staff rushed in to tell me how great i looked. Thanks, but no thanks. I paid close to $100 for my head to chopped off. My goal was collar bone length. My end-up was chin length. Quite a disparity!!!! read more

Words cannot express my feelings for the excellent service I had on my wedding day. The day started at 9am in the Bangz salon for hair styling by Heather. Then Heather, Mark and Gillian came with us to the bridal suite to do makeup for 6 people. One of my guests was also getting her hair done by Heather in the bridal suite and while Heather waited for that guest, she volunteered to fix the hair of my friends (who were doing their own hair in the bridal suite). Heather, Mark and Gillian were amazing to all of us! They did amazing work all while staying calm and professional in a chaotic bridal suite!! I am so happy I went back to Bangz. I had a bad experience last year with a haircut from here, and wrote a Yelp review about it. Not only did Heather respond to my Yelp review, she wrote me a message and actually sent a box to my house filled with hair care products and a 100 dollar gift certificate to come back and try again. She absolutely didn't have to do that, but went above and beyond. I went back a couple days ago and am so glad I did. I had bayalage (spelling??) done by Mark who was so nice and gave me exactly what i was looking for- natural looking, well balanced gold highlights. Everyone was so friendly and easy going. Typically when you get toner put in after highlights it's an uncomfortable experience, but the entire time they were working with my hair everyone was so gentle. They even have massaging chairs while you are waiting/getting your hair washed. Susan was over the top nice as well. I mentioned that my hair is very difficult to get through and she put this amazing conditioner in it and even gave me extra to take home with me! I am so blown away by how sweet and helpful everyone was! Usually I dread getting my hair done but this was such a great experience! I will definitely return and recommend. read more

This was a great place. I enjoyed the mini massage chair while getting my hair washed. My daughter and grand daughter and I were going to a wedding in the afteroon. The owner was friendly, and listen to ideas of how we wanted our do's. I had the make girl also and she did a great job. The salon was beautifully decorated and very unique. Great hair salon! It's on the smaller side, but very nicely done and everyone is extremely personable. No stuffy attitudes here (unlike most places in the area). The little details make this place stand out: they offer you a drink when you first walk in, the shampoo stations have massaging chairs, and the products they use are awesome! I'm excited for Victoria and the ladies with their new salon! My whole family used to go to them when they were at ME Salon, and I'm glad I checked out their new place. New client and will return. I had a specific cut And color, which ended up being 6 inches off. Heather did an amazing job! There was no hesitancy w what I wanted and what could be done. Heather even walked me through how to manage and style it! She offered me tips and even free samples, not to mention a new client bag full of samples, coffee mug, cookie and other gifts! Balayage listed on website as $40+ and up, unbeknownst to me I was given a gift bag upon arrival with an updated menu price list, (I hadn't checked inside the bag until I left) I began my appt describing what I wanted to my stylist and was met with great help and guidance. I fault myself for not talking pricing but I continued the process retaining the online listed price of 40+ and up. I never assumed it would be close to $40 because everything is pricey these days... but when I got to the register it rang up as $125.00 and of course i was a bit taken aback, but I proceeded with the transaction and left a $15.00 tip. When I got home to greater inspect the job done I was shocked to find all of my "undercarriage sections" of hair weren't dyed.. seems a bit short handed and cheap. I do certainly acknowledge the fact that I could have had better communication with the stylist and salon. I would consider myself a more reserved person. I felt like I was caught in a bait and switch situation because as of today May 8th 2017 it is listed on their website as $40 and up. I do have the physical menu prices from the salon listed as 100+ and up. I'm not a person to review or make a fuss or even waist time tying this but I like the result and this is certainly a learning lesson. read more

But beyond Heather's skill, is her kind and caring manner. Several years ago, I referred my Mother to Heather. My Mother is elderly and likes her permanent just so. Heather has gone out of her way, time and time again to make sure that my Mother is happy with her hair and has a really good experience. What a wonderful hair salon! I was at the same salon for 31 years and rarely even got a hello from the owner, let alone asked if I wanted homemade iced tea! Their styles were getting old and I felt I needed new life. That is when I met someone who went to Bangz and she raved about it. It's much further for me, but I love my hair and my color is the best it has ever been! Heather, the owner, is such a sweetheart. She takes a lot of time with my hair and always sends me out with samples of shampoos, etc. She brews her own iced tea and her mother even makes treats each week for her clients. The place is immaculately clean-never any hair on the floor and so well-decorated. It is like a ninety minute vacation when I go every six weeks. And last but not least, not only is the quality better than the well-known salon I went to for years, the price is about $70 cheaper. You can't go wrong. Went to Tony one of the Salon owners with 30 plus years experience. One of the worst salon experiences in my life and I'm 40 plus! I wanted frame facing highlights. My hair was medium brown so it had to be bleached. I chose this salon because they use Goldwell bleach which I have used over dyed hair for many years with no damage and beautiful results every time. Well I told him I wanted chunky for but not tiger stripes. He put the foils in putting an extra one on side which I didn't understand since hair was parted down the middle, he said it would be fine. Long story short he put under the dryer not once but twice and then put a toner on and washed my hair. He started to brush it and a big chunk of blonde hair came out in the brush. He panicked and proceeded to lie to me and say it was someone else's, but I knew better. Then he started trimming the ends that were fried and cut a piece of hair on the top my head so short it stuck up. I wasn't even there for a cut. My hair was fried and I had more blonde on one side than the other it was awful all he could say was it's unique....seriously. I was stupid I even paid for the service, plus tip.. I was just in a state of shock. When he told the receptionist to give me conditioning mask, I went home crying to my husband. The next day I got a call to come back for conditioning treatment, like that was going to fix my bald spot.. really!! I went to a high end salon and he told me that there was nothing he could do but trim my hair and try to be careful not to show my bald spot and broken off pieces that just had to grow back. In his expert opinion he said he left me under the dryer too long, and this was not the work of a highly skilled professional but an amateur cosmetology student and my highlights were not even spaced properly. Worst experience I ever had at a hair salon. I went there to get an ombré and a cut. I saved my money for a month to get a nice cut from a good place. The lady who did my hair completely ruined it, she knew my hair was black and put bleach on it. My hair was very long and healthy, probably the nicest it's ever been and it fried and completely broke off. She didn't even attempt to do an ombré she just put random highlights in my hair all the way to the roots. Once she finished she made me pay!! I left crying. The only good thing I have to say is that the owner is very nice, she called me back immediately and did what she could to help me get my hair back to normal but it is still messed up from this and still breaks off. read more
