This is probably the best bakery that I have been to since Rheinlander in Arvada, but completely different. I got several things to eat, including the Creme Brulee Cruffin, pandan coconut cupcake, and Thai tea cake. The Thai tea cake was delicious and had some interesting flavors to it. The Thai tea creme with the chocolate was delicious. The pandan coconut was a little dry for me and I don't think I would buy that again. The Creme Brulee Cruffin might be one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. I would literally drive to the other side of Colorado for this cruffin. It was perfect. It was crispy on the top and creamy in the middle. If you go here you need to order this, and you can thank me later. I also got the ube latte and it was amazing. The drink is, of course, bright purple and perfectly sweet. I can't wait to go back again.

The baked goods and coffees were amazing! We got the ube cold brew and Vietnamese coffee and both were great. Pastries were INCREDIBLE, with my favorite being the almond croissant (but it was a hard choice, all of them were fantastic).

I've come here for coffee & pastries a few times. They have some good, unique baked goods-- always ube options even for your coffee. The space is small but welcoming and the staff is really friendly as well as helpful. Highly recommended and will be back!

The desserts and pastries here are off the chain good

This should be on repeat!! The Banh Mi sandwiches are delicious but the sweets are the real gem here. Park in the back to avoid the hassle of colfax. It's easy to get distracted by all of the dessert options in the bakery case. Pastries. Cakes. Cream. Fruit. It's all here in combinations that will make you say, OMG. We had a Pain au chocolate, ube black sesame cake, egg nog and ginger cake and passion fruit cake. All were fantastic and unique in flavor. We had all the coffees but the ube foam makes for a whole new experience. The chicken banh mi Sammie's heated are so good. Love the pickled onions and aoli on a homemade baguette. It's hard not to eat the entire thing. We went a bit crazy and spent $70 but it was worth every penny. Seating is limited. Four tables and some small spaces for individual dining. Service directed to one customer at a time so you have to be patient. Huge bakery space which tells me the bake and sell to commercial customers.

Banh mi pork sandwich on a everything bagel

We see why this place has such high ratings, the creme brulee cruffin was my favorite, super fluffy and buttery layers in the inside with a sweet crispy topping. I would come back to just get that again. The Vietnamese cold brew with Ube foam was really good, super strong Viet coffee taste, however, there wasn't much Ube foam as I would have liked so I probably wouldn't order that one again. My husband ordered the banh mi sandwich with the everything bagel, which we thought was a genius idea! The taste was good and they add A LOT of jalapenos, so perfect for the spicy lovers. The only thing I'll mention is that it's a lot messier of a sandwich than a regular banh mi, but it was worth the try. Service was super friendly and nice. They have a decent amount of seating but some of the tables were too close together, making the benches really difficult to sit on.

Cute Vietnamese bakery spot right next door to Dan Da restaurant. We came an hour before close so most of the baked goods were gone. It was super cute instead with limited seating!

What a lovely bakery! The sister shop to the awesome restaurant, Dan Da, this bakery has got so much going for it! See a plant? You can buy it. See an awesome painting on the wall? They're by local artists, and you can buy them! My favorite pastries from here are the Strawberry Croissants! They are so crispy and light, and the flavor is just phenomenal. Would highly recommend, especially as a party tray! I also tried the Lemongrass Pork Banh Mi and WOW! Absolutely delicious! Would def get it for lunch every day if I could!

Ube foam lattes, mango pandan cake, pandan cupcake

Finally made it in here!! Easy to miss, but once you find it you'll never leave! Cute little place where they support local artist and display their work, along with indoor plants. It has a small retail area for trinkets and treats. Came here before dinner, since it closes at 4pm. So no better way than to have dessert first then dinner. There's a parking lot in the back if there's no parking on the streets (better in the lot anyways). You'll go through the hallway passing by the kitchen where you can see them make all the goodies. It was late on a Saturday, so not many options were left, but good enough to leave a pandan cupcake for me! I also ordered a Iced Ube latte to go with it. My friend order one also along with a Mango Coco Pandan cake. We both devoured it there and left no room to speak! The pandan cupcake was dense, moist, creamy, and overpowered by sugar. It was perfect. My friend didn't say much. She was enjoying her cake so much, that only a bit of cream left on the side of her mouth lol. Our Ube latte was refreshing perfect after a nice treat. I've come back again to try the Ube cake and Vietnamese egg coffee. The cake was delicious, but I shouldn't have eaten it all at once though! Couldn't handle myself haha. The egg coffee, it didn't sit too well for my palette. I couldn't taste the authenticity of it compared to other places I've been and of course, Vietnam. That didn't stop me from coming back. Got another Ube latte and a pandan cupcake.

Tried the cold cut and lemongrass pork bahn mi's- I thought they were both decent if you're already in the area. Price is a bit steep, $13 each. Parking is behind the restaurant

What an incredible bakery! Just check out the beautiful holiday treats. The only problem I had was only choosing a few of my favorites. Definitely a mistake bringing my daughter as that ended up costing me. I guess it's an early Christmas gift for her.

For a second I thought the banh mis were a bit overpriced until I received my order. Each banh mi is enough to serve two people! I loved the pork and the pickled vegetables inside. Next time I'm definitely cutting my sandwich in half or asking them to do it. Service is wonderful. The girl at the counter was bubbly and down to earth. She made plenty of suggestions but I wanted to stick with the tried and true. I was also deciding on drinks and landed on an iced tea that was wonderful! The place is light and airy with prints to purchase lined up against the walls. For a second I thought it was an art gallery with a cafe but the entire space comes together nicely. Would return to try more menu items!

We bought Mango coco, Boston Thai tea & Ube blackberry cup cake & a strawberry croissant to try out. We love how well blended with some spices of Boston Thai tea. Ube is my second favorite. Mango coco does overly strong on pandan leaf and not enough fresh mango inside or to decorated. The Vietnamese coffee is very strong, but tasty. The strawberry croissant tastes not as crunchy as I expected. I think it is a bit flop about this taster. The decors are cute with local arts & the cleanliness I observed from the see through kitchen area. Service on the cashier is slow bc There is only one casher available. I want to go back and try more!

Lemongrass grilled pork banh mi sandwich

Just finished an amazing lunch next door and wanted a banh mi sandwich for the plane ride home. Bahn & Butter Bakery Cafe was strongly suggested by the staff at Dan da and they were not wrong. The baked good here are works of art. If you are an eater with your eyes, this spot is your happy place. The sandwiches, bowls, croissants, and pastries look incredible. Banh Butter Bakery Cafe was full of patrons eating pastries, drinking coffee and deep in quiet conversations. A very relaxing environment. We had no room for desserts since we just finished lunch, but we did not want an airport meal when this place looked fabulous. We ordered 2 of the lemongrass grilled pork banh mi sandwiches to go. The sandwiches were packed with many tasty ingredients that made us smile. The meat was flavorful and not tough, pickled veggies were crisp and had a good taste while the baguettes were slightly crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. A solid construction of a banh mi sandwich. I don't have the patience to bake goods, but Banh & Butter Bakery Cafe has dialed it in and nailed it. A tip of the hat to the owner and staff of this Denver jewel. Several people on the plane wanted to know were we got the great looking sandwiches.

Now to the main course, I opted for something different, "the K-Mack" which includes a Korean fried buttermilk chicken with a cabbage slaw and green onions. It was so good. It's a small space - a few tables, not all of which have access to an outlet. The table I snagged was off balance and wobbly and pretty dirty. Or is this place brand new where it started to exist after I had been here most recently? It was a little before 8:40am. As most shops don't open until 10am or so, nobody was around on the 46th Street; the coffee shop was thus empty. I got the guy's undue attention upon entering. Cute wall decors, some tables with chairs for people to sit down, nice open bar with a display of sweets and savory are what I noticed. The drink menu (which I didn't take a picture of) is not massive but has got a good selection, all ordinary stuff. I went with my usual: doppio. I also got me one of the baklavas which I saw where all the baked goods are. The tray full of baklavas was on top of the showcase with a lid on it. Looked nicely brown and flaky. Would be a nice mid-morning snack to eat along with my doppio. The guy was efficient. After I placed my order, it was a matter of a minute or two before he handed me the two items. I was the only customer (like I said) but he was super fast. The charge was about $10 for both items. Upon glancing at the electronic receipt, I realized that the baklavas are $7. A bit pricey I thought but they are a good size. Not bad... At home, I enjoyed both of them after my breakfast. I added some almond milk and half and half in my doppio which tasted nice and bitter (for this reason, people think that I drink like the Italians; they do like strong espresso.) The baklava was so filling. The flaky layers stack on top of each other were perfected. The sweetness was just right. For this size/portion, I guess $7 makes sense; the money worth spent for.
