    Banh mi menu item #1

Came in aeound 4pm and ordered 6 Banh Mi #1 and a Thai tea. Clean establishment with friendly owners/staff. Each sandwhich was individually wrapped and placed in its own paper bag with napkins. They also placed little packets of Sriracha I'm the bag as well. Good amount of meats and ingredients in a typical bahn mi. I kind if wish the pickled veggies were less sweet, but overall a good banh mi. The Thai tea was perfect though...not too sweet

Tried this place out back in February when I worked a street away. Going through my photo albums and noticed I haven't written a review yet. This is a fairly near restaurant near the courthouse. At the time this photo was taken, they had a grand opening special. Buy some pho and get a drink for free. Pho was big and useful especially during a windy day. Definitely full throughout the day until I got off. Service was fast considering it was peak lunch hours. Not too many people were inside. I ended up coming back a couple more times if I was in the mood for pho and the bahn mi sandwich. Great place, try it out. Now I can delete this picture from my phone to make space

Banh Mi sandwich!! We ordered the Pork Banh Mi & Beef Banh Mi and wasn't that good at all.. We threw it away and didn't finish it all.. Overpriced for something that wasn't even good!! How can I get a refund??

Sticky twins - grilled pork spring rolls

So this is a new spot in the downtown area. The menu is definitely different. The price of pho is a wee bit steep. I think the regular bowl was sitting at $12.50. I wasn't too hungry so I went with the grilled pork spring rolls. First observation, they placed the two spring rolls together and then wrapped them in plastic. That's a big No No. First, the two spring rolls placed together caused them to stick together. Upon separating the twins, it caused the rice wrap to tear. As for the spring rolls, they were ok. Nothing to brag about. If this was your only option within walking distance for spring rolls, then This place could satisfy your hunger.

The bahn mi was sort of disappointing. The bread was soft and not crunchy at all. The Mayo used was too sweet. I'm used to every Viet place having the spiciest of the spicy jalapeños but there was no spice what so ever. I also got the special vermicelli bowl. I got a mountain of noodles and pork with no flavor. The egg roll was good tho! The service was good, from the woman at least. She was happy to help and very soft spoken. They have mix matched tables and chairs inside so the decor isn't anything worth noting. All in all I probably wouldn't come here again.

I came after my daughter science fair and I had to kill time. So I finally tried this place every time I go papa urbs. I tried banh mi grilled pork and you would it be the wise choice to eat. The pork wasn't grilled and lack flavor. It was so disappointing I couldn't even finish it and I'm not even a picky eat, that shows how bad it is. I also had tropical fruit tea. It was good and the reason why I gave it 3 stars. No public restroom!

I visited this establishment recently. In terms of service, my server was quick to take and serve my order. I got their special sandwich, as well as their grilled pork sandwich. In terms of the food, I was thoroughly impressed. The bread for both sandwiches was crispy and soft. The pickled daikon was acidic and the pate was delicious. For both sandwiches, the was proportions for all the ingredients were spot on. In terms of the grilled pork sandwich, the pork was savory and juicy. All in all, if you want high quality banh mis, I high recommend visiting Banh Mi and Roll.

Large shrimp rolls, individually wrapped so they don't stick together. Peanut and chili sauce.

Oh it's fusion alright, menu has a level of variety I haven't seen anywhere else. Lots of seafood options so great for pescatarians like my partner :) They only had one real pho option (the BEEF) but are working on adding more. Erick, the sole dude running the whole show (quite literally ) told us as much (bun rieu!) Anyway where do I even begin. I got the beef pho which was amazing, real bone broth cuz well.. there's a huge bone of meat in it among others. He brought out the usual pho veggie plate with the usual sriracha hoisin sauce duo but the hot sauce was premixed which caught me off guard--like sh I usually do it myself. Bussin ten toes down, I stand on it. Spicier than you expect so just be careful if you're gonna dump some in your soup. Ima purist when it comes to pho so nah but to each they own, no judgement. The final cherry on top was the Dino egg/Pokémon shooters Erick made us. I initially thought he was talking about a toy or something when he was describing. Light cubes in the blue curaçao? Say less, bussin multiplier. It was a fantastic end to the night and Erick was the one that made it, honestly. Dude's got the energy, service, and knowledge cuz he does the food orders AND drinks. We'll be back for sure to go thru the rest of the menu, there was honestly a lot I know we won't be able to find elsewhere, not even Sac. Finally, excuse me, but big slidey door?? Never seen that for a place like this in a plaza. On a hot day, it was really nice to be able to sit right next to it and get the cold ac but also some that nice valley heat from outdoors (they got seating out there too but we left that for the oh so lovey dovey couple). Alright I'm getting sidetracked but as you can see, can't say enough about this place. Thank you, Erick and crew :)

Srry for the business but this is blowing up my mind a bit…read more Our first time trying this Vietnamese fusion, it took us a while to try since we prefer more authentic version. We ordered chicken Pho and vermicelli bowl * The pho broth was so salty from some artificial broth powder or something...it doesn't taste from the natural bone broth. We understand for costs of making that but sometimes you gotta trade off. You position the resto towards the fancy side and you better offer the better quality of broth too!? * The chicken...unbelievable.....I'm not a chef, but I can taste the freezer burn from the meat!!!! I'm not fussy to the point that it shouldn't been frozen at all. But this unacceptable to me. Again, disclaimer!!! I'm not a picky eater but I had to pass my Pho to my husband..sorry. It's very rare I did this. * I end up having the vermicelli bowl instead...the noodle was just right off the fridge and the highlight was the spring roll which tasted like almost spoiled one :((( How come this was served from the fancy Vietnamese resto in town?! How?! * The meal just good enough for me to fill my stomach but the quality and experience were ZERO.

My wife and I stopped in after our jog along the Tidewater Biketrail, making this our lunch pit stop after starting at Lathrop Road. The Char Siu Pork Bánh Mì is an easy 5/5. The baguette was fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft and chewy inside. The char siu pork was tender, juicy, and perfectly caramelized around the edges. Crisp pickled carrots and daikon, plenty of cilantro, and fresh jalapeños brought everything together. It's a well-balanced sandwich with a portion that's just right. The Grilled Chicken Roll'd deserves more attention. The grilled chicken reminded me of a flavorful chicken satay, and the peanut sauce complemented every bite without overpowering the fresh ingredients.
