Papaya Salad: Fresh, bright, and a great healthy appetizer! Garlic Butter Soft Shell Crab: I appreciated the quality of the soft shell crab, which was crispy and rich. Shaken Beef: This was one of my favorite dishes. It came out steaming house, and the beef was teender and flavorful. First time checking out Binge Vietnamese Fusion this weekend and basically went in with no game plan, just ordered whatever caught our eye and hoped for the best. Safe to say everything was delicious! We started with the grilled garlic butter oysters and wow... super rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. Definitely a must order! Got the garlic noodles too really good, but lowkey wish we had gone with the lobster noodles or blue prawn noodles instead. A picture of them popped up on the TV while we were waiting and they looked insanely good... instant food envy. The dodging cow was another standout. The combo of garlic, steak, and onions just worked so well together tons of flavor in every bite. Juicy and tender with every bite! Also tried the banh mi fries, which were a fun twist. The pickled veggies kept things fresh, jalapeños added a nice kick, and the fries stayed crispy underneath it all. I like how they have an open ambiance. You can sit outside like you're chilling at a buddy's patio. Place is nice with music playing. Huge bar. We got seated right away. We came just to get a sample of things. I will say their prices are kinda high and the portions of the food are really small so you're kind of paying for a high-end version of things that you can get somewhere else family style and for the same type of price or maybe even less. We got the clams in the soup I believe was tom yum. Ordered sea snails which were flavorless and tough. The grilled scallops were good with all the fixings on top. We came from out of town and decided to stop here before going home since a lot of Vietnamese places in the area was closed, and this one was still open. We wanted some Vietnamese seafood since we been eating a bunch of meat sticks from Angel Cruz Park. The place looks nice. Almost like it could be a club right after. They have a bar area. They have an open seating area outside with heat lamps where you can eat outside if you want. I was excited because the ratings were good. We ordered a couple of dishes to share. Our server was nice and attentive. Everything started out good.. we ordered garlic noodles, stir fry snails, scallops in the shell, squid tentacles, clams in a Tom Yum soup, and fried jumbo shrimps. Garlic noodles and the squid tentacles came out first. The garlic noodles were pretty good. The squid tentacles was basically calamari. Decent. The clams in the Tom Yum soup were good, but wanted more of it since all the dishes are small portions. I was disappointed in the scallops in the shell because some was burnt... I ate a burnt one and plus it's hella small. The snails were tough in my opinion, but the liquid it was in was tasty. The shrimp was just OK. Pretty expensive for some small dishes IMO. Oh man... let's get to it! We ordered a few plates to share. The banh mi fries were a 10/10, super flavorful and loaded. Garlic butter grilled oysters were also a 10/10--rich, buttery, and cooked perfectly & evenly. Some places cannot get the grilled oysters right. The fish sauce wings? Another 10/10...crispy, saucy, and seriously addicting. Sounds crazy, but they were Dodging cow was a solid 9/10, tender and packed with flavor. Garlic noodles were good but a bit more simple compared to everything else, so I'd give those a 7/10. Overall, great spot for sharing and trying a little bit of everything. Everything that I had today was great. Except for the fact they were out of fresh oysters and whole crabs . Those were the reason for my visit. $26 for a dozen oysters during happy hour amd a whole crab. I recently watched a Mikey Chen aka strictly dumpling a YouTube creator where he visited san francisco and had whole crabs from 3 different spots. So to put in short I was influenced.lol I had a whole crab from place before and I figured id have another one. I my surprised they were out. They get there stock every two week is what i was told. We went for an event for their Paint Party night. This was my first time here. If it wasn't for the event, I got invited to I wouldn't have known it was there. It's located in the BJ's parking center. As soon as you walk in, there is plenty of seating with a bar to the left. They had a DJ that played amazing songs throughout the night. That was one of the highlights. Service was great. Tiffany took our order and was very welcoming. I Ordered the garlic noodles with shrimp. It was really good! They have a bar area and television for game days etc. Service was quick as we were seated right away. There was not many people, however, by our side was tables reserved to be for a big group. My bowl of vermicelli was ok, I've had better. The flavor wasn't there and the sauce was too light for my taste. I don't know if it was intended to be light or not. The only thing I enjoyed about my dish was the eggroll, which tasted great. I just want satisfied. I tastes the pho broth, it was alright for my taste and the rib was flavorful and tender. So I opted for the lobster noodles; I had a lot of expectations for the lobster noodles, especially for the price. Found this place through a very happy accident and wow will most absolutely be coming back. I was thrilled to see they were part of the Stockton Vegan Chef Challenge and got the banh xeo tacos which were delicious and I am obsessed with their taco shell which was like nothing I'd ever had before, crunchy and I think beautifully colored with just a highlight of turmeric maybe. Great, bright peppery flavors and perfect sauce. We also had the hamachi kama that was so artistically presented as well as off the charts good. We also shared the truffle fries which were decent but maybe the fries were just a touch overdone for our liking, though the truffle sauce was good although maybe we could have used a little more. I'm sure they would have given us more if we asked for it, our service was swift and extremely friendly. The restaurant itself is really aesthetically pleasing inside. I love the open high ceiling and the giant open roll door to the very nice patio seating and couches which was especially nice on a lovely early evening. Decided to stop here before a concert at the Adventist Center (12 minutes away). We arrived at 5pm on a Sunday. We were immediately seated plenty of inside and outside seating. Several TV's with sporting events on, fresh oyster bar perfect place to catch a game or two. Big door open for an open air concept. Eric was our waiter and bartender. He was nice and knowledgeable took our drink orders. My wife's first cocktail was a Melon Stand de said it was delicious. I oldered an old fashioned but asked him first if he made a good one. He said he did. So I took a chance, it was very good, smoked and used a house made caramel luxardo cherry. My wife ordered a second drink (Binge Passion) she loved this one. We started with Shrimp Spring Rolls, 2 with peanut sauce. Dinner we shared (they serve tapas style). Combination fried rice & Dodging Cow. Everything tasted good and we would go back. My wife works in the area and said she would return for lunch. My only issue was the cost of the Dodging Cow ($30), I don't think for $30 you get a lot of rib eye for the cost, my wife agreed. The service was good and the renovations are nice. Oysters were good as well as the soft shell crab. The oceanic platter was delicious with garlic noodles. The sauce I could eat for days with anything so flavorful. It comes with muscles, clams, sausage, lobster, tail, and crab. Only complaint and it's a big one the crab was not good. I think for the price it should've at least came with some sort of side at least plain steamed rice, but it did not so I had to pay extra for that which I believe is five dollars. Came here on a Sunday with family to celebrate a birthday. We arrived around 1:30pm and it wasn't busy so we were able to sit right away. Our server was very kind and gave us waters and the menu while we waited for the rest of our group. We had a total of 6 people. As we were waiting I noticed that it was quite hot in there and there was no AC or fan running, it might be because they have a large door that extends to the outdoor seating that stays open but it was uncomfortable. We ordered drinks and it didn't take long for us to get them. It kept us occupied for the first 20 minutes or so after ordering our food. We ordered the deep fried snapper, seafood hotpot, truffle fries, lemon pepper wings, tamarind shrimp & the hamachi Kama. At first everything seemed okay. The fries and wings came out at a reasonable time but after that we waited long to get the rest of our food. All together it took over an hour to get everything we ordered. Overall the food was good but there wasn't necessarily anything that I would come back for though, especially considering everything else. There were so many flies that we had to shoo away the whole time we were eating and it hard to enjoy. Our bill came out to $459.11 that included a 20% charge of $70.20 because we had 6 people so just be aware that gratuity is already included. Limited options if you're a couple that wants to share appetizers but one is gluten intolerant and the other has a shellfish allergy (LOL) but there's still enough to choose from and it's tasty! Happy hour has $5 drinks and it's just a fun vibe. They have an outdoor patio as well and usually have it open to the outdoors when we've been there, so it feels al fresco even if you're inside! They have a running video of all their different dishes which is super helpful to decide what you want to order now or for a future visit. Oysters were great! Drove up from San jose to Stockton,CA to pick up our son's girlfriend before headed up to the city for fireworks on New Years Eve and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Oysters! 9/10 I loved that they were not the small oysters but the big ones and cooked to perfection! Happy we ordered them. Garlic noodles with shrimp - 2/10 I hated the garlic noodles it seem like they just boiled noodles put garlic butter and cheese. It just was not what I expected when I order garlic noodles. The shrimp though was a solid 8/10 The garlic fries were garlic fries nothing to rave about but they were good, we ate them. It had a pinch of garlic flavor with Parmesan cheese on top The reason I give them 4/5 is because it's in the middle of 3 and 4 stars but a notch closer to 4. We ordered the Beefy Pho, which only comes in one size (basically a large). It smelled great, but the broth was too oily and plain--almost like watered-down pho. Adding fish sauce helped a lot. The meat portion was okay: the beef rib was tender and flavorful, but the extra bone was mostly tendon. It also came with four meatballs and two thin slices of beef. We came in and no one welcomed us. It was our first time at this restaurant and didn't know if we should seat ourselves or wait for a waiter. We went to the bar area to see if there was anyone that can help us get seated. We asked an Asian lady with black hair who wore a Hawaiian white dress for assistance to get a seat. She was very rude. We asked kindly and respectfully if we should seat ourselves or wait for her and she yelled "Wait I will seat you" with an attitude. We eventually left because great customer service is why we come to restaurants besides the food and this place had no customer service at all. We will not be coming here ever again. No one should be looking for a hostess to seat them nor provide them with an attitude. Food maybe good here but that is all. They were also very helpful with the menu and constantly checking up on us. We ordered so many food and one off the menu. All the food we got were delicious.
