Pretty bland Combination Pho. Visited this place with family in Stockton, CA and the food was disappointing. A bit flavorless for the Pho Noodle Soup, Fried Rice and the Pad Thai. All 3 we had ordered for ourselves were tasteless for some reason. And the Pad Thai's sauce was weird, not like the usual ones you get at Thai restaurants. Had to add a lot of Chil Oil, Hoisin Sauce, Sriracha and Jalapeños to add flavor to the Pho broth. Meat portions were kind of small and service was so-so.

This is my go-to spot for Pho in Stockton! Broth is flavorful & delicious, perfect for these chilly evenings. I never stray away from my usual order, #17, Combination Noodle & Vermicelli. The service is friendly & they bring out your orders very quickly, it's great for large groups as they can accommodate for it without having to wait an eternity for your food. Please be advised they only accept cash so come prepared, otherwise there is a Wells Fargo ATM that you can easily walk to.

I would like to say the food is very very good!! It is a hot fresh and tasty. I would like to say it's definitely not like a usual restaurant, service definitely lacks, but the food is too good to miss out on! Must try 10/10 hidden gem! Make sure to bring enough cash as it is only a cash only.

TL Noodle is a childhood favorite of mine and I was so excited to come back!! The food is just as good as it used to be. I especially love their combination chow fun because it comes out so hot and fresh. It is so flavorful and delicious! We came this time around a busy lunch hour and while it felt a little chaotic, the servers didn't forget anything we asked for. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is big and has an open setting. It is very spacious inside and does not feel cramped at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The downside of coming here now is that the prices went up a lot. It's roughly $15 a bowl now and they no longer have a small size. It's just one size now, which looks like what was a large bowl before. I still left happy with my meal and I absolutely recommend their egg rice flour cake. So yummy!!

My All-Time Favorite : Combo #1 with Big Rice Noodles (Just like what I would order if were TK Noddles)!

CAUTION to fellow CUSTOMERS: Unless you don't mind paying $1-3 dollars extra more than what your actual bill is, please know that this noodle place can take more $$$ from you without your knowledge. Because the place only takes cash and when you go pay, they do not show the itemized items of all your orders on paper in front of you before pay, you can only trust that what they announced (by mouth) to you is correctly what you need to pay. As a regular customer for many years - I love their noodle soup. At first, I never pay attention. Just eat, go up to the counter, then pay whatever amount they said owed. One day, I was short on cash, so calculated my cash based on the price on menu then add tax and okay looks like have enough for a bowl of soup + tip. But at the counter, found out my bill was actually higher ($2 more) than what I calculated. So okay, just thought maybe I miscalculated, so just pay and move on. But after that, I started noticing more and MORE that my bill was ALWAYS higher than what I would have paid if calculated based on current menu price + tax! Not the confrontation type, I just let go and NEVER return (felt something not right). 2-3 years later, craved their noodle soup, so thought try one more time. There was a new man working (not the regular younger and older lady), so I ate then went up the counter getting ready to ask for clarity should my bill be higher this time. To my surprise, the man did my bill accurately - matching exactly as I had calculated based on current menu price + tax. So, I felt safe to return here again hoping they had changed. Today (Feb. 8, 2024), the new man was not there, but back to the regular younger and older lady. Menu price for small #1 combo = $11.45. 2 orders = 11.45 x 2 = 22.90 + tax (9%) = 24.961. Therefore my bill at counter should be approximately $24.96. I went up, told the younger lady my table #, and without checking the tab or the computer, she just said $26.50. HUH?! With so many customers daily, does she even remember my order & its cost? I asked back..."Are you sure $26.50 because last time I came only paid $24.90 something for 2 small combo's". She pretended to quickly check the computer and repeated my saying "2 small bowls" and now corrected to "24.98". This is it - I am so done. Will not return anymore!

Food never disappoint. Love me some fat noodles with their bomb chili oil and pickled jalapeños. Even though the chili oil isn't as spicy but it has a good flavor. This spot Reminds me of tk noodle in south sac. I'm glad we have the same type of noodle restaurant in Stockton city. Customer service was okay, kind of the same vibe I get when I go to the south sac location. Prices have increased but that's just part of this economy worked we live in. I'd still go back.

My first time trying this place out and it seems ok. This is my dad spot for his favorite dish which is # 9, combination wonton noodle. At Vietnamese restaurants I usually order a rice plate but was disappointed that they didn't have what I liked. They have more soup dishes on their menu. We ordered the combination crispy fried noodles. I ended up sharing some of this with my mom. We also ordered an avocado smoothie too. Overall, good spot for some soup and service was quick. Only downside is cash only.

Their young male staff at the counter was so nice and sweet. Great customer service is always a plus for me! Food: Fried chicken wings: delicious! It was so crunchy! I LOVE it! Lortcha Noddles: this is tropioca rice noodles stir fry with Chinese broccoli & bean sprouts. Meat are extra charged. I added chicken. This dish is new to me. And wow! It was packed and loaded with flavors! Everything wre trench in the savoury sauce! If you haven't been here, it is a MUST try! I definitely need to return for more wings and try their other dishes. And of course I should bring my family too.

The Crab Fried Rice with Shrimp was delicious. They used real crab meat and definitely didn't skimp on it, which made every bite worth it. The Drunken Noodles were another standout. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not overcooked or soggy--and the flavors were spot on. One thing we really appreciated was the generous portion sizes. We had plenty of leftovers to take home, making it an even better value. The dining area is small, simple, neat, and clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. My only disappointment was the Thai Tea. It came in a can, which was my fault for not reading the menu carefully. I was expecting freshly made Thai tea, so the canned version just wasn't for me. Overall, I'd give Johnny Wokker Southeast Asian Cuisine a 9/10. Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and definitely a place I'd come back to--I'll just skip the canned Thai Tea next time!

Hands down!!! This is one of the best pho places I've ever been to in the Central Valley area. Oh…read moremy goodness, this place was phenomenal! They have a great variety of food and drink selections. There is usually a waiting list, and when we arrived, the restaurant was already packed. We only waited about 5 to 10 minutes to be seated while they finished cleaning a table for us. The restaurant itself is pretty compact, so wheelchair accessibility might be difficult; you would have to squeeze through, as there is limited space. The customer service was okay. While they took our order in a timely manner, getting water refills was a bit lacking. I understand they were busy, but for a restaurant that stays this packed, providing a pitcher of water at the table would be a convenient fix if staff can't keep up with refills. I think adding that small touch would make this place even better, especially since they attract a high volume of customers and serve such high-quality food. Customer Service: 6.5/10 Food Review: * A9 (Chicken Wings Lemon Pepper): These were so good and crispy--my girls absolutely loved them! The portion size was great. They were very flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. Lemon pepper can easily become overpowering if it isn't done right, but this seasoning was absolutely perfect. Rate: 8/10 * B1 (Pho Rib-Eye Grilled Beef): I thought it was very interesting how they served the grilled rib-eye beef on the side. It was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and tender, which made for a great dining experience. The broth was good, too. Rate: 7/10 * B3 (Pho Special w/ Combo Oxtail): This was my pho, and I loved it! The meat and oxtail were super tender, and the meat came off the bone so smoothly. I completely devoured all the protein, which rarely happens for me. The broth was amazing. Rate: 8/10 * Brown Sugar Cinnamon Milk Tea w/ Boba: To be honest, I had never tried cinnamon milk tea before and decided to give it a shot. It was just okay for me--it actually reminded me of Fireball alcohol (yuck!). It did start to taste a lot better as the ice melted and diluted the cinnamon flavor, making it less overpowering. Rate: 2/10 Overall Experience: We had a really good experience here. Even though the surrounding location feels a bit rough around the edges, the food itself was amazing. The customer service was decent, and the prices were reasonable. I'd highly recommend that anyone in the area check it out--it is definitely worth it! For parking, there are spots available in both the front and the back of the building. The back can feel a little risky since it's set up like an alley, while the front parking is right by the main road. There isn't a ton of parking space overall, but we were able to find a spot just fine.

An amazing home-y spot for Asian comfort food in Manteca :)…read more For appetizers, we got the bang bang shrimp and spicy wontons and both were delicious. I liked how crispy and sweet yet tangy the bang bang shrimp was. This was probably my favorite item we tried! The chili wontons weren't too spicy and they were really generous with the amount of shrimp inside. Shrimp & wonton noodle soup was def a comfort meal growing up, so I'm happy they had that here! Portion size was very generous and broth was tasty. Noodles were cooked well too, and I liked the filling of the wonton. We also got the curry ramen with katsu chicken. The chicken was sooo crispy, it was one of my favorite items. The bacon kimchi flavor had a nice spicy kick to it. The beef chili oil noodles was tasty and I liked the small beef bits. The bang bang chicken had the same sauce as the bang bang shrimp, but I liked how the entree came with rice too. The philly cheesesteak eggrolls were super crispy, and if you're a cheese lover, you need to try this! Overall, a really solid spot for Asian fusion food, and the servers were all extremely nice and patient as well. Service was really quick!

It was a lazy Saturday afternoon after Christmas, and I wanted to try some new Chinese food in North Stockton. This venue had good reviews on Yelp & Google, so I decided to give this place a try and order take-out food. The menu had some daily lunch specials for under $11.00 and this was the route I took. PROS: - Had the Pork Chow Mein, House Chicken & Mongolian Beef. All were delicious. Was surprised at how spicy the Mongolian Beef was, but this was the best of the three dishes. The Pork Chow Mein was well garnished and visually appealing. The House Chicken had the most volume, but I believe that the chicken had been fried some time prior to my visit, and was warmed up / had finishing touches applied, upon receipt of my order. - While waiting for my order I noticed the tasteful interior decor, which gives off a nice dining atmosphere. Especially if one were only ordering a lunch special, it would be a great environment to enjoy your $10.95 & CA State Tax meal. - Further to the above, the prices are a BARGAIN in this era of high inflation. Even the non-lunch special items only go for $12 - $13 bucks. CONS: - The Fried Rice which came with the meal was below my expectations, as it only is white rice with soy sauce and fried eggs sprinkled on top. (See attached pictures.) NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: C'mon folks, I know that you're trying to keep overhead low, but this is not fried rice in any shape or form. Better to just serve white rice and not serve fake fried rice. CONCLUSION: If they had proved better Fried Rice in my order, I'd give this place 5 Stars. But for the price I paid for my meal, I was very satisfied. Thus. if you're in on Hammer Lane and want a good Chinese meal for your hard earned money, this place is an excellent go-to option.
