Not only is the coffee legit, the bakery section is popping. Croissant any thing has always been the trick. But. BUT. During my last visit I just needed a bite of pure sugar. Y'all!! While we did come on a night that seemed like they were short staff, our servers were still checking in and very accommodating with how busy it was. We ordered the Pain Maison, Black Truffle French Fries, Risotto à la Forestière, Steak Frites*and Grand Marnier Croissant Bread Pudding. Pain Maison - 7/10 I think the bread was good, I do wish it had been a bit warmer and that there would have been a flavor to the butter. Black Truffle French Fries - 10/10 These were executed so well. The fries on their own carried a lot of flavor, and the truffle took it to another level. We could have easily eaten another basket. Risotto à la Forestière - 8/10 I stole a few bites off of my wife's plate. There were portions of the duck that were a bit dry, but overall it was very tasty. The risotto carried a lot of flavor and the white wine sauce finished everything nicely. Steak Frites - 7/10 I did end up switching my fries to the Robuchon potatoes because they sounded so good and they were. As far as the steak itself, it was cooked to perfection, but I did not enjoy the blue cheese-cognac butter like I thought I would have. There was a charred sweetness to it that I was not expecting (completely on me) and it made me wish I had just ordered the steak itself. Grand Marnier Croissant Bread Pudding - 9/10 The ice cream completely took this dessert to the stars! The Bread pudding in itself had a hard outer layer with a soft and flavorful inner layer, and the combination with the salted caramel ice cream was delicious.  I think that Francaise would be a great place to do Hors D'oeuvres along with drinks and dessert along with friends or for a date- I am curious to try their short rib and think I will make it a point to do so when we come back.
