The coffee was great. Staff were friendly. I didn't get any food, but it looked good! And what a pleasant surprise to be visiting Pullman and find a cafe that allows dogs! It was a very useful training session for my Aussie. She got lots of pets from the other patrons, and good exposure. Nobody seemed to mind her occasional whine or bark. Will definitely be going back if I'm in town!

(Can't remember the name of this but it was an egg-burrito-omelette/sandwich with sides of salsa)

Loved this cute cafe. Went on a Sunday after a game-day, and let me tell you: every cafe and restaurant was PACKED with hour-long waits, and this cute cafe I'd been curious to check out was open without a wait to seat! WINNING!! While we didn't have our pups with us, I enjoyed checking out all the furry-friendly-pups who were well behaved. My dog would absolutely love this place! There's a big open-table seating in the back with short walls for dogs to have a play date while pup-parents sip on coffee or eat. It's great!! We ordered basic breakfast and coffees. The portions were ample! My husband and I shared and both felt full. The lines got long as we waited, but that was to be expected, and staff were running around serving. While our food arrived before our drinks, we understood: they were slammed and probably didn't expect as many folks, but after Apple Cup, it was NUTS with the amount of Alumni and fans from both UW and WSU in small-town Pullman. Food was great, and coffee was good, but the ambience is the best! Especially for dog-lovers.

The service and drinks were great. The cashier and baristas were very welcoming and nice. The drink options are so creative and fun. There is so much seating inside! And there is even some seating outside. There was a lovely area with a bookshelf full of books to borrow for those who want to do some reading. Dogs are welcome (of course), but there is an area in the back that has a small fence so your dog can roam too.

This is one of my favorite local coffee shops because it's big, the food and drinks are great, the WiFi is reliable, and there are dogs. One time I saw a cat in a stroller and on a different day there was live music. They also have beer and wine but I've only ordered a beer here once or twice. Their charcuterie platter used to be a bit more interesting but it's still good and they are typically happy to let me customize it when I only want some of the items. Whenever a new barista/cashier isn't sure how to ring up a custom one they typically get an owner or a more experienced employee from the back. It's a college town so I see new people behind the counter occasionally. How it's set up: Normal cafe with some peaceful/stationary dogs in the front and a gated dog run area with tables in the back. Sometimes the back area is empty and sometimes it's a great way to meet dogs while working. It can get a little crazy back there if there are 2+ dogs running around, though. I think they sometimes offer dog training classes. Nice memory: I've been wanting to try a bûche de Noël (aka Yule log) cake for years and didn't want to make a whole cake for myself, so I asked them if they could make one to sell by the slice in late December (because they occasionally sell cake slices)... and they made it happen! Hope they make at least one again next December! They also have a nice little "Cougs Pay it Forward" station to the left of the baked goods case so people can grab a token for a free/donated cup of drip coffee. People can donate to that by adding however many tokens they'd like to their bill.

Pups and Cups is my "go to" cafe in Pullman. Their breakfast burritos are huge and delicious, and come with your choice of salsa and sour cream. The coffee is freshly brewed and hot. (The waffles are great too.) They're also waaaay more reasonably priced than Roost. I can get a burrito and coffee here for around 12 bucks, while Roost charges 8 dollars for a dirty chai. The staff are super friendly, as well, and you can bring your dog. They'll also wrap your burrito to eat on the go. Best cafe ever!

I've been to Pups and Cups a few times now and I love everything about it. They allow dogs in the cafe! The baristas are always so friendly and welcoming. There is a lot on the menu, but the baristas have always asked if I had any questions and have been more than willing to help out. I've had an iced Moroccan Mint Tea and a drip coffee and enjoyed them both. The environment is perfect for studying or getting work done. I would suggest bringing headphones because it does get loud at times, especially when there are pups around! Happy hour runs from 4 pm - 6 pm every day and features both food and drink specials. I've had a glass of wine (Merry Cellar Syrah) and the charcuterie board from the happy hour menu and LOVED them both. If you get a charcuterie board, you definitely need to get the mustard cheddar. I don't like mustard, but the cheese was fantastic!

Wonderful place. Love all the happy pups roaming around in here with amazing staff and customers who love your pupper just as much as you do. Our pup loves their on the house puppaccinos (whipped cream in a cup). We love their coffee drinks, almond honey lattes, mint loose leaf teas, and panini sandwiches. Appreciating their newer bigger space with outdoor seating as well. Beautiful art and welcoming ambiance. Thank you Pups n Cups!

Good coffee and it was nice getting free refills. Service was friendly. The space could have been a bit cleaner and better decorated.

They give you a bowl of kettle chips when seated which was delicious. We were served quickly, and I ordered a house made seltzer that I believe was huckleberry flavor. It was interesting that it was made in-house but it had a weird after taste to me. We got the Turkey Club as well as their Cougar Gold Mac and Cheese. Both were delicious and I loved both dishes. I enjoyed how the Mac and cheese came with the side salad too, or you can have kettle chips or a soup. Salad was a great choice with the Mac and cheese. Overall I would definitely come back for the food as it was delicious. Ps- They also give SEL workers a small discount which is great!

Although open, only a few tables were filled, and it was mostly empty at that time. We were seated and a young waitress promptly took our drink order and brought us some kettle chips. The kettle chips are to die for! We were hungry so that might've contributed to the fact that we gobbled them down quickly. These were never refilled during our time there although I wish they were. (We didn't get a chance to ask.) Our appetizer order of the pretzel bites were tasty, but there were so few on the plate for the 3 of us to share. It comes with three dipping sauces, but there weren't enough pretzels to enjoy much of the dipping sauces. Next, we placed an order for three meals that came with side salads. Our waitress said the salads would be out first and then the meals. Unfortunately, only one salad came out and the waitress didn't say anything else when dropping off the single salad. I assumed she was coming back with the others. As the dining room was filling up, she got busy taking orders elsewhere, didn't glance our way once. The one salad was finished while the other two of us were twiddling our thumbs at the table for a decent enough amount of time that we were trying to get her attention to ask about the salads. The other two salads did not come out until our entrées arrived. It would've been nice if we were offered a refill on the kettle chips and our drinks . No drink refills offered. We waited without anything to nibble on for what felt like too long. As for food quality, the mac & cheese was tasteless and plain. There was a good volume of it, but no desire to eat it. The Caesar salads we had were pre-dressed and the dressing wasn't that great. The burger was OK, but they served it dry. I asked for ketchup, but I apologized to the waitress for the ketchup request as she seemed to be very busy with the dining room filling up. It was a very uncomfortable feeling to ask for anything because of the vibe. The best thing on the table was the kettle chips, and the side of broccoli that one of my daughters had with her steak was fabulously seasoned. We made it a point to complement the broccoli and asked how it was prepared at the end of our meal when we were offered the check . Our waitress was kind enough to find out for us but the answer that came back seemed to shield the seasonings as a proprietary secret. In all it was an OK experience and we might return next time we're in town to give them another chance. If anything, I'd order the delicious kettle chips and broccoli.
