Step into Paris... without leaving Spokane. Française delivers true French bistro magic candlelight, classic technique, and dishes that make you slow down and savor every bite. Dress up or dress down everyone invited. Française A Perry Street Bistro 928 S Perry St What we ordered at Française: * Pain Maison warm bread with house butter and sea salt; simple, crunchy, crispy * French Onion Soup best of the best. Deep, rich broth, bubbling gruyère, absolutely flawless Would come here just for this alone. * Beet Salad earthy sweet beets, creamy accents, bright acidity, beautifully balanced * Poulet Rôti Crispy skin to die for. Shockingly good. It ate like one giant, perfect chicken wing in the best way possible. * Gimlet Française gin, lavender, lime, and elderflower liqueur; floral, lightly sweet, effortlessly elegant * French Press Martini creamy, lightly sweet, dessert-in-a-glass * Beignets warm, powdered, candle-worthy * Bread Pudding warm spice, caramel notes, coffee ice cream melting just right

Been wanting to try this place and finally got the chance. This place was excellent! Went in on a Saturday at 4 and Happy Hour was still going which means we could try most of the dishes at lower prices. We started with a French red wine and baguette and French onion soup which was delicious. It was full of bread, cheese, onions and tasty broth. I had the Steak frites with a side of sauté mushrooms and roasted garlic. Delicious! Lots of tasty frites with a garlic aioli that I couldn't get enough of. The steak was medium rare just the way I like it. My husband got the croque madam which he loved. His came with roasted potatoes. We finished off with beignets- 3 good size with delicious strawberry jelly. Our sever Abi Y was so helpful with suggestions and made us feel welcome with great window seating without having any reservations. We enjoyed everything and look forward to returning.

Why haven't I known about this restaurant before? Steak Tartare, Escargot, French Onion Soup, Steak Frites, Deviled Eggs and sturgeon roe. We will be coming back frequently. The staff were excellent and informative. There's quite literally nothing on the menu I wouldn't eat twice. Amazing! Try the brown butter cognac and the duck fat Old Fashioned. Boom

Definitely coming back! The service was great and the food was amazing! I had the Le Burger which was full of flavor!! and the fries was one of the best fries I've had. As an entree we had the roasted carrots and the Pain Maison they were both very delicious especially the house butter! Me and my family had a great experience! Thank you.

I don't know if this will be the very best meal I have in 2026, but it will be a contender nonetheless!! I love to cook. It takes A LOT to get me out of my kitchen and trying someone else's food, but, the owner of this restaurant also owns the Gilded Unicorn and I KNEW, if I wanted good food, it was gonna be at either Adam Hegsted or Michael Wiley's restaurants. They're the only two I leave my kitchen for!!! We were here for the 10 year anniversary of the night my husband proposed. It was a random Wednesday, but Francaise still delivered. Ill start with the service, which was superb. The waiter saw I had put in a reservation and had our table set for us, against the wall and very private. Also very romantic. Loved it. The waiter was excellent throughout. Showing up at exactly the right times without being over bearing. We started with cocktails. The French press martini was not to be missed! Not too sweet and excellent flavor. Then I moved on to the French onion soup with gruyere cheese!!! I love it when its not made with Swiss. The broth had amazing flavor and the crust was perfection with all the melty delicious cheese! My husband had the duck which was excellent and I had the 4oz steak frites off the happy hour which was the perfect size after my soup. The steak was cooked perfectly and so much flavor! We each had a glass of cabernet with our meals and at the end, we threw caution to the wind and got two desserts! The caramel apple tart and the beignets! Cleaned both plates too. Zero leftovers on anything. It was just too good!! If you're a foodie and can't find anything good outside your own kitchen, but need to celebrate a special day, come here!! You wont be disappointed that you threw on pants and finally ventured past your own kitchen door.

We stopped in here after an outing to CdA (where we had a less than happy experience at the oyster bar) for an early dinner. My son and DIL are well traveled through Europe and love good food and I was not sure about the choice to eat here but I have to say this was a great choice. I can't remember what each of our menu items were called but they were all very tasty and the service was superb as well. We will definitely be back to this little Perry district establishment. The pasta dish, I have to say, was particularly excellent! I also loved the decor and coziness of the place.

Ambiance, mouthwatering modern French food/cocktails and friendly service... Francaise has it all. So far have tried the filet mignon, croque madame and the burger. All three have the element of "melt in your mouth". Can't wait to go back soon! Update: went back for Easter brunch and tried the Benedict... croissant, ham, mushrooms, poached eggs with truffle hollandaise

The whole atmosphere is dark, cozy, moody, and feels more like a hidden lounge than a typical downtown bar. Between the lighting, music, books, and dramatic cocktail menus, the vibe alone makes the place worth visiting. We tried the espresso martini, Painkiller, and Bloody Verde. The espresso martini was smooth and easy to drink without being overly sweet, and the Painkiller had that creamy tropical flavor that somehow still worked with the darker speakeasy atmosphere. Keeping it honest though, the Bloody Verde just wasn't for me personally. I can still appreciate the creativity behind it, but the flavor combo just didn't match my taste buds. That being said, if you like savory spicy cocktails, you'd probably feel very differently about it. Service was friendly, drinks came out looking great, and the music really tied the whole experience together. The atmosphere was really enjoyable -- the space has a great vibe, the drinks were well made, and overall it feels like somewhere that could become a favorite spot downtown. The food was decent as well, though not especially memorable. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the positives. From the moment we walked in, we felt more like an inconvenience than welcomed guests. The host greeted us while remaining seated at the bar and simply told us to "sit anywhere," which immediately set an odd tone. When I asked for paper menus, I was told they only use QR codes. Normally that wouldn't be a huge issue, but the menu was around 15 pages long with tiny font, making it frustrating to navigate on a phone. Once our food arrived, we essentially never saw our server again. No check-ins, no refill offers, no asking if we wanted another round of drinks -- nothing. Meanwhile, staff members were gathered at the bar loudly talking among themselves and openly complaining about being there, which was uncomfortable to listen to as customers trying to enjoy a night out. Eventually, we had to walk up to the front bar ourselves just to pay our bill. That was the most disappointing part because the restaurant truly has the foundation to be excellent. The ambiance and drinks are already there, but hospitality matters just as much as the food. A little attentiveness and genuine customer service would have completely changed the experience. We absolutely would have ordered more drinks and likely stayed longer if anyone had checked on us. Hopefully management takes service more seriously, because this place could be great with the right staff culture and attention to guests.

But this restaurant is very pricey for inconsistent food. We've been twice now- didn't love it enough the first time but wanted to give it a second chance. The lemon pasta was divine the first time- but my carbonara was unflavored paste- I literally thought I had COVID and lost the ability to taste food but everyone else's food tasted good so that theory didn't hold up. This time I ordered the lemon pasta and instead of creamy, delightful and tasty it was a little bland and watery. The waitress "fixed it " by offering me more Parmesan to thicken it. I'd added prawns- they were nice. My companion ordered the veal parm- the tomato sauce wasn't amazing and the breading was a bit heavy. He wasn't impressed and didn't finish the dish. The risotto was just OK. Again, it's very pricey for just OK. The food isn't trash but if you've had great food you don't want to pay so much for just ok. We would rather spend the money at Luna or Francaise or Wooden City. Dessert was yummy. The first time we went we arrived first seating and it looked like the AARP theater crowd, the last night we went seemed like a galantine's preview! So if you're there for the drinks, appetizers and ambiance it's quite nice. I can't endorse it whole heartedly because the entree's weren't consistently good enough to give the full 5 stars. Service was fine and we tipped accordingly. Good luck!
