Nice food hall, but could use way more choices. We stopped at the Hot Dog Factory and the Filipino place. Food was good and service was great. I might return if I were here for a longer time and wanted a hot dog or beer, but not something I would make a regular. Maybe they will improve with time. The outside seating is great and the interior has the opportunity to be a nice spot. Still a work in progress. There is limited parking and it is in the riverwalk- that helps the rating. read more

I was expecting a big long building with lots of food places. There are several about 7 total few more Opening. We didn't get the hotdogs but that seemed to be the local favorite. Remote workers with pets and vanlife enthusiasts- this is a great stop. Pets allowed on large wraparound covered porch with outside electric outlets and some rocking chairs! No pets allowed inside. Good wifi. Bathrooms are clean. Outlets at almost every table, tables are mostly large picnic bench style, some bar style seating, some regular tables and chairs with backs. Lots of food choices, a small bar in a more secluded corner. One outside electrical outlet at knee height by door, one or two open outlets up high where the tvs are mounted. Large parking lot that you can see from many of the tables with windows and porch, in case you want to keep an eye on your car/rig. Parking is easy early in the day, before 12pm that I know of. At night and on weekends parking gets tight. Two main dining "rooms" but there's a food hall style kitchen in the middle that breaks up the largest room so there arent too many people in your immediate area. Food stalls are locally owned (or seem to be)! Nice to support local, I wouldn't come here if there were big corporate restaurants only. Overlooks the Chattahoochee River and park with a splashed and public bathroom. Wheelchair accessible ramps and tables as far as I can tell. read more

Stopped by on the way to the airport to the food hall. I was a little disappointed by the number of food shops available, but maybe there are more on the way! The service at the hot dog shop we picked was excellent. I got a veggie Chicago dog. Such a wonderful selection! I was very happy the ambiance was causal and friendly. This establishment was recommended by my partners Manager while we were on a business trip to Columbus Georgia. The atmosphere is amazing! They are multiple restaurants to try we went with the Filipino restaurant and Lumpia and chicken kebabs! The customer service was amazing! we then went and had froze wine drinks from the Maltitude wine bar! It was Cinco de Mayo so we also got to experience some beautiful live music and it was quiet and the experience! The crowd was dancing and doing the salsa and having an amazing time! read more

This place has good potential. The location is amazing being right on the river and the aesthetics of the building are great. I love the brick and the interior is light and bright. The large outdoor patio gives great views and offers plenty of space to enjoy your food. The side alley in the back rounds out the seating options giving someone a different vibe if they want it. There is a good selection of shops, covering most genres of food, including dessert. I think there is still room to grow and for this place to have even more selection and I am sure that is in the works. For me, it just isn't there yet and as it grows, it will need to expand parking options as it was super crowded when I was there, with cars parked in unmarked spots and the hall itself wasn't even that crowded. read more

Very impressed with Banks Food Hall. I see a lot of potential at this place with new places opening up soon and this being the mini Ponce City Market of Columbus, GA. The diverse selections from poke bowls, tacos to gelato/desserts makes this a cute new hangout place for everyone of all ages. The best part is it's opened every day and doesn't follow with Mondays being closed like a lot of other places downtown. I am a BIG foodie and this place was awesome to stop by and grab a couple of new food to try out! Overall, this was a new, fun experience and a great addition to the downtown area. Side Note: My favorite had to be Poke Sun since I love poke bowls and haven't been able to find a good place in Columbus. I found this place while browsing Yelp. The food hall has many options, which is why I chose it. I ended up choosing a Filipino place inside and it was amazing. There is tubing for the river located here as well. I highly recommend coming here because it is a great location with plenty of options for everyone and lots of fun to be had. Parking looks to be a possible challenge though so plan accordingly to allow some extra time for that. read more

El Primo Taqueria is just one of the stalls in Banks Food Hall we have tried and so far they have all been wonderful. Had an enormous burrito, and two quesa-birria tacos. If you haven't had birria, you should. It's Mexican pot roast and it's wonderful. This is almost as good as we got from my Cal-Mex friend back home. So tasty and comforting. Oh gosh NO!!! Can we get some real food in here... Ain't nobody frying no chicken or fish... I can't even get a fresh salad and some cold water before I walk on the river walk... The hotdog place - I make better hot dogs at home... The taco place, don't serve ground beef... what is a taco without ground beef? They have steak and chicken tacos and the steak be having fatty pieces in it that makes me have to stick my fingers in my mouth just to pull out the fat pieces out of my mouth, do that sound good? I don't like Italian ice cream... but they regular vanilla ice cream is pretty good tho... I would definitely recommend that, my son gets chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and he loves it as well. On a hot day after watching the kids play on the splash pad... can we get some Icey girl?... Great place to come relax indoor and outdoor seating available. Pets allowed which is great I walk my dog then get some grub. I forgot the name of the coffee shop inside but the coffee is on point. I stopped in for a late weekend lunch at Banks Food Hall and was really pleasantly surprised at how beautiful, clean, and spacious the place was - and of course, let's not forget the food, which was YUM. I decided to grab a polish dog from Hot Dog Factory and some desserts (black forest cake + peanut butter cheesecake) from The Bakeshop. Everything exceeded expectations. I'm typically not the biggest fan of food halls - ones I've been to in the past are just too crowded, the lines are too long, finding a table is impossible, etc. However, I'm happy to say I experienced none of these issues here. I see lots of potential for Banks Food Hall and hopefully they're able to attract even more food options soon. The ambiance is tough to beat. Needless to say, I'll be back! read more

Banks Food Hall is a pretty cool experience. A lot of small restaurants in a small area. I got the hot dogs. I have been twice. The first time I got the BLT and Detroit Coney dog. Anything wrapped with bacon is a plus for me. The second time I go the Jamaican Jerk Chicken dog and the Italian dog. The Jerk chicken hit dog was extremely good. Cool vibe especially for Columbus, fun place to drink and the beer bar was good with lots of options but the food options are limited, overpriced and not that good. Got food from the Mexican place, was $8 for two small tacos. Meat was served lukewarm and soggy. Then the nachos since that wasn't enough food, was $13 and very underwhelming. The ice cream place had soft serve ice cream, basically a way over priced frosty. Would recommend going to have drinks but eat before coming, or after. The food I had was pretty basic, the building itself was nice-ish but having been to places like Armature Works in Tampa Fl and San Antonio Riverwalk, 4th Street Live, this place was very underwhelming. I was expecting unique food and esthetics to maybe post online but I ended getting nachos that were okay and empty restaurant spaces. Not to mention the rest rooms reminded me of those at rest stops. First off, I have a major sweet tooth so finding out that they have a bakery inside of Banks Food Hall was music to my ears. When I went to check it out I was greeted by the Baker and her employee! They did a lovely job at explaining what bake goods they had that day and I decided to go with the Cinnamon roll and I couldn't have made a better choice. I was offered if I wanted it warmed up and of course I said " Yes!" and let me tell you...it was amazing. Their cinnamon rolls ( and I had them twice now) have the perfect amount of sweetness and the icing really makes it !!
