Driving through and prefer to skip fast food. We read the other reviews and agreed to try, but food wasn't good. Ordered Chicken Satay as it is easy to eat in the car - it was so dry, almost jerky. This is the best Thai I've had in a while. The flavor is out of this world and they make everything there for you so it comes out piping hot, which I love. Oh my goodness this place is a gem! We love Thai food, but need to be careful that it isn't loaded with msg. We we're passing through the area a found That Thai on a Yelp search. We stopped in, we're immediately greeted and seated. We asked the waitress for some guidance which she was happy to provide. We landed on the egg roll which were some of the best we've ever eaten; crispy, packed with filling, and not oily. We followed that up with the chicken drunken noodles at the medium heat level. This dish packs a punch. If you like heat, this is the dish for you. It is loaded with flavor. The noodles are so thin you can almost see through them. The chicken and vegetables are perfect in proportion and taste. The service at Thai Thai is spot on. We highly recommend Thai Thai. read more

Love this place. It has the two things I need in a restaurant: excellent service and solid food.

Husband and I have come here fairly regularly over the past 2 years. I'm not sure what happened to those reviewers who have had poor experiences here, but I feel sad for them. Though we have at times experienced some awkward customer service, we have had consistently excellent food every time we have dined here. Every. Single. Time. We have literally not been disappointed even once. Today was probably our last visit, as our time in the South is soon (hopefully) coming to an end, so I felt compelled to write an update. We shared the green curry with pork and the pad see ew with tofu and ended the meal with the sticky rice with mango and custard. It was all just as good as every other time we've been here. Nay, better even. The sticky rice with mango and custard was just perfect today. Additionally, I have to say that their menu has just the right amount of variety, and their prices are extremely reasonable, if not on the cheap side. Definitely not expensive for the quantity and quality you get, IMO. Thanks for being one of my good memories of Alabama, Thai Thai. read more

Thai Thai will probably become my new favorite Thai restaurant in Columbus/Phenix City. I tried this restaurant for lunch based on all of the positive Yelp reviews!! And I was not led astray. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with glass noodles, chicken and medium spice. There are 3 levels of hot and the medium was just right. It was actually a tad spicier than any other Thai restaurant that I have tried, but the heat did not over power the flavor. Every bite was packed with flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I also tried the Tom Ka Soup, which is your basic coconut soup with mushrooms, chicken or beef & lots of spices. I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and taste of the soup. I highly recommend this restaurant & I look forward to trying more things on the menu! read more

This place is one of the best Thai places I've ever tried in my life. It is surprising that it is in a small city near the Alabama-Georgia border, but it is amazing! The owner is so nice too. He was very friendly and took an interest in getting to know us. Their thai tea was the best I've ever had also. You can tell it's fresh.
