Only order Oreo blast, took forever and it wasn't even mixed. They just put cookies on top of ice cream. They need to do better for $7.00

I normally don't review fast food restaurants but the young person who served me at the drive thru made me smile. I ordered the regular cheeseburger meal that came with a sundae. It was just $7 including the drink. I didn't go inside so cannot comment on decor. But the service was good. I went during lunchtime and just want that young person to know I appreciate them. read more

Bought this for my husband because he asked me too. And I got half done fries and half done meat. Customer service was alright but the food needs to be cooked properly. I'm not trying to catch food poisoning from raw meat. I had to buy something else because it was his lunch break and I did not want him going back to work on an empty stomach. Visited Diary Queen a few minutes ago to purchase 2 chilli dogs. They are delicious, freshly made with mustard, chilli and onions on them. The problem I have is the lack of care in the voice , lack of a smile and the authoritarian voice when taking your order. It makes me not want to come. It is an effort for them to say Thank you! oh dairy queen, how I've missed you~ I can't remember the last time I've stepped foot in an actually DQ store, rather than seeing it in a mall food court. the menu has changed quite a bit from what I recall. there are "$5 buck lunch" deals. these are valid everyday, from 11am to 4pm. there were 3 choices: chicken strips, chili cheese dog, or cheeseburger. all lunch options come with a side of fries, soft drink, and a small soft serve ice cream cone (what a mouthful). apparently, DQ sells orange julius smoothies here now as well. the menu was so much bigger than what I remembered. the options were all over the place, but at least there was a good variety to choose from. the menu offered items like... salads, chicken fingers, burgers, hot dogs, smoothies, blizzards, shakes, juices, frappes, cakes, wraps, and more~ staff were warm and friendly; lots of smiles. if you read my reviews, you'll know that's something I look for :) I only have 2 complaints. portions are a lot smaller than before. in addition, the restroom is a solo stall. sadly, it was not pleasant to look at or use. for one restroom from each gender, it shouldn't be that hard to properly clean. read more

Went to get my son an icecream cake and asked them to write Happy Birthday on the cake and of the 7 employees that you could see not one could write on cakes.Cakes weren't very nice looking either thumb smudges on the icing and the sides were done half ass.Never seen such a poor attempt at cakes from a DQ in the four states we have lived in...We just went to the DQ on Whittlesey across from Academy and they have awesome cakes all with awesome decorations.Since they are privately owned I would go the extra few exits and get a nice cake... read more

I am not sure when it happened but most all DQs are owned and operated by indians. the quality and service have seemed to suffer from people not familiar with our culture. they now microwave all burgers... which is gross. they do this to "melt the cheese". which is a stupid reason to otherwise ruin a burger. but I know the drill. ordered with a guy I could barely understand. told him do not microwave my burger. and soon enough it came to me and tasted great. the fries were not salted tho. Well at first glance this place seemed ok and really the only thing that was that good was the blizzard! The chicken strips tasted really weird and the kids wouldn't even touch them after the first bite! My chicken in my sandwich was cold and the bread wasn't good at all! We were really disappointed as we normally love Dairy Queen and we will probably go back but for ice cream only! Hubby's burger after repeating no onions and no pickles 3 times had them Both! The food here tastes very good. The people who work there are really friendly. Lunch is always fast and they will bring it out to your table. My daughter wanted her birthday cake from DQ because she loves Oreos. We got her the Oreo blast ice cream cake and it was delicious. You don't get fancy writing and decorations but it was very good otherwise. read more

I went through the drive-thru today & the guy making my blizzards wasn't wearing gloves. When I asked the guy at the window why the guy making my blizzards wasn't wearing gloves, he just stared at me blankly, not saying a word. Another employee remade my order while he stood there touching his face & mask continually, even briefly pulling his mask down. I noticed a female employee with braids & beads who also had no gloves, & even pulled her mask down to her chin, WHILE making an order. Clearly their COVID-19 safety standards are subpar. read more

First time we have ever been in this DQ. Immediately noticed it was very clean with no music blaring. Health Department inspection score was a 100! As for the food, it was hot and tasted fresh. The customer service was prompt and friendly. Would eat there in the future. read more

Diary Queen is Dairy Queen. What do you expect? The distinguishing factor here is the customer service. Every time I have been to the drive thru here the service has been less than sub par. This is the best location in town. They remodeled their store and the place looks great. They have TV's and a great atmosphere. It is a family run location and the owners are very friendly. The food is always cooked fresh and the ice cream always tastes great. read more
