Everyone was friendly, nobody was pushing or shoving, and the managers and staff had obviously planned well in advance how to handle all the shoppers. I ended up buying a printer and a coffee maker on deep discount. The staff was smart and blocked off an area in order to funnel people toward the registers. We were in and out in no time. It's a shame I was only visiting because this store is far superior to the one near me.

That said, the merchandise was in good shape and the prices were reasonable. I had no problem finding something to microwave for dinner and the sushi in the deli area was in good shape. While the building is not feeling like a Kroger, the associates working are Kroger and I feel like they're doing the best they can. Don't let this store give you a bad impression of the chain. When I spend hundreds of dollars on groceries, I expect a simple thank you and please come again at the very least. I expect all the items I purchase to be put in bags and not left on the counter. I expect to be charged the correct price for my items. I expect my items not to be damaged by poor bagging skills. I do not expect to have to tell a grocery cashier what celery is. I do not expect to have to bag my own groceries because there is no staff. I have an unpleasant experience every time I shop at these stores. I feel this is an egregious lack of competency on the part of the store management. And given the current price of groceries, this is not acceptable.
