Went in March for a hysterectomy. Outpatient doors were closed said to go through the ER. Go to…read morethe ER they make you walk all the way to regular administration who's doors are open with a closer parking lot then the ER. I have a port because I have Multiple Sclerosis and receive my medication monthly by infusion, they refused to use it without an Xray. They also made me pee in a cup to prove I wasn't pregnant...it takes 3 appointments, waiting 30 days and a biopsy that is the most painful thing I've ever experienced in order to get a hysterectomy, who would get pregnant in that small window of time where I took 2 other pregnancy tests AND had an ultrasound. Plus since it was surgery I hadn't drank anything. Super annoying. When I came to the nurse who took care of me was great, very easy going, was prememptive with care like had a heater thing ready for me and water, explained everything, his energy was very good and calming, perfect for what was happening. I chose to stay the night in order to have pain management because left to my own devices I let the pain go too long and it causes problems. My first nurse was Coraline. I had to pee as soon as I got there, I asked her and she asked me to wait 5 minutes. Luckily for me the nurse who does the blood pressure, I think her name was Cheyenne helped me and was super sweet the entire time. Caroline did eventually come back but not in the 5 minutes and didn't remember, she did not seem very experienced. Then later in the evening when she came in I asked to have my water filled and she again said later and that I had gatorade, my mom had gone and bought snacks because Caroline couldn't find a phone for me to order food and she did place the order herself but obviously I'm not going to page the nurse everytime I need something. A very nice man, the one who transported me, saw my mom with the bag found us a phone and apologized that we bought everything he seemed pretty irritated that this wasn't taken care of by the nurse. I didn't get my water refilled until the night shift when the blood pressure guy Chris came in, he was also great. I don't remember my nurses name that night but I really liked her, she was very friendly and competent perfect care after a very long tiring day. Checkout was easy. I just really wish they had used my port because I would've been far more comfortable and that's why it's there. Coraline could also use a little help in making sure patients are comfortable, she's the only one who didn't seem to recognize what was going on.

I went in, by ambulance, in severe pain, in my right upper quad/abdomen. It was so bad, I couldn't…read morebreathe. I had to wait in the lobby more than two hours. Shortly after being left there, I got a real bad wave of pain, along with getting really hot and sweaty. My partner told one of the ladies at the desk, and she just said we have to wait. Then, they called back a man who didn't appear to be in any pain, and was able to walk normally, without help, while myself and another woman were both miserable with pain. When I finally got called back, they slowly started doing tests, first, checking for issues with my heart. But, going from an experience my girlfriend had December of 2024, we were both thinking it was my gallbladder. Then, they took blood, and gave me fentanyl for the pain. An hour later, it didn't do a thing for it. So, they gave me a different one, which also didn't help. I was finally taken for an ultrasound of my gallbladder, pancreas and liver. The tech had a hard time finding my gallbladder, when I laid on my left side. So, accurate views may not have been possible. I waited nearly four hours for those results. After nearly 7 hours there, a PA comes in and tells me there's sludge in my gallbladder, but it's not necessary to have emergency surgery. But, she wants me to follow up with a surgeon. She told me to follow a low fat diet, which I have been doing for 11 months now, to lose weight. I was discharged after that 7 hours, and the pain persisted until I went to bed, five hours later. Even now, I'm having mild pain, off and on, and I'm also starting to feel it when bending over. I saw the ultrasound report, in which they say it's sludge, but they were unable to see everything, due to bowel gas, obstructing the view. If this was the case, why didn't they do further tests? What if they missed something critical? I do have an appointment with the surgeon, next week. So, we'll see what she says.

I was here for 3 days due to a DVT that turned into a pulmonary embolism. I was transported here by ambulance from another one of their locations after they found the DVT and PE and from the from the EMT's to the RN's and the Techs to the doctors everyone was extremely friendly and caring. They checked on me often throughout the day and night making sure I didn't need anything, wasn't in pain, and when I needed something not once did they act like it was an inconvenience like at other hospitals I've been to where they act like you're being an inconvenience when it's literally their job. If you ever need to go to a hospital (which I hope is never) I highly recommend coming into this one.

Nate Price & Courtney Clinton- Two horrible nurses that should NOT be in the healthcare…read moreprofession!!! I am extremely disturbed by the level of care and professionalism we experienced at Dignity Health Hospital. We arrived at the hospital because my husband was experiencing symptoms of a stroke, was in excruciating pain, and could barely walk. When we checked in, staff seemed more concerned about his insurance information than the fact that his blood pressure was extremely high and he was clearly in distress. Eventually a nurse named Nate Price came to take us back. He did not introduce himself, asked if my husband needed a wheelchair even though it was obvious he could barely walk, and no one assisted us. I had to physically help carry my husband into the room myself. Once in the room, Nate took my husband's blood pressure but did not say a single word about the reading. Instead, he looked over and laughed with another staff member, Courtney Clinton, while my husband was clearly in severe pain and I was visibly distressed. The lack of urgency and empathy was extremely upsetting. Nate then left the room without explaining anything. I asked Courtney Clinton what my husband's blood pressure was, and she told me to guess and said she had no idea. She also never introduced herself, never explained what was happening, and continued smirking throughout the interaction. Courtney noticed that my husband already had a bruise from an IV that had been placed earlier that morning. She asked if he had already had an IV, and we told her yes. Despite this, she proceeded to insert another IV into the same arm and same bruised area. When I questioned why she would poke the same arm while he was already in significant pain, she rolled her eyes at me. After we left the hospital, I realized the pharmacy where the prescription had been sent was closed, so I called the hospital to ask if it could be transferred. Nate Price answered the phone. He was extremely rude, placed me on hold, and then came back saying it would take 30 minutes to transfer the prescription. I explained that I was already going through a very difficult situation and asked if he could please mark it urgent because I had to drive 30 minutes to another pharmacy. His response was to yell at me, "Do you want me to send it or not!?" I asked for his name, and he yelled again and then hung up the phone on me. I asked multiple times for his name and he refused to provide it, although I clearly recognized his voice. The lack of compassion, communication, and basic professionalism from these staff members was shocking. When patients come to the ER, they are often scared, vulnerable, and in pain. The behavior we experienced--smirking, laughing, eye-rolling, yelling at a patient's family member, and refusing to communicate basic information--was completely unacceptable. I sincerely hope hospital leadership reviews this situation and addresses the culture of care and professionalism, because no patient or family member should be treated this way while seeking urgent medical help. This is the closest hospital to our neighborhood, but trust we will not be going back!
