Upon arrival, the receptionist was polite but a bit dry, not as welcoming as I've experienced at other locations. The technician who performed my imaging was very kind, friendly, and informative, which I appreciated. However, I was a little taken aback when I entered the exam room and noticed another patient's gown still sitting on the bench -- it made me question whether the rooms are cleaned thoroughly between appointments. Overall, my experience was decent, but I may consider returning to my previous location in the future.

I asked if there were a way to fill it online because my writing hand was injured -- could barely grip a pen and it was painful to do so. I can hunt and peck type on my phone. There was "a way but it would take too long." And just looked at me, no turning toward her PC. I thought, Huh. Well, crap. Sorry to be so much trouble. (Nobody in line, only a couple people waiting in all. I said, "It hurts to write." She said "Sorry" like she didn't mean it. And that was it. I was dismissed. I scrawled the info. Here ya go, sweetheart. (No, I just thought it, didn't say it.) Moving on, the X-ray tech didn't exchange a pleasant word, ask any questions. Nope. All about getting the job done. Just 3 views needed. Last view -- she wanted me to spread my fingers, which I could barely do and which was painful. Unconcerned. Hold that pose. Got it. Done. After all this devoted attention, it follows perfectly that I still haven't gotten the results. The promise was 1-3 days. Day 6 today. Never again, SimonMed.

The MRIs, the x-rays, and the technicians who handle both are professional and courteous. They explain what's going on and how the testing will proceed. Unfortunately, the doctor who read my MRI scan, I believe, is the dumbest in Arizona. Not sure how this radiologist observed an organ in my body and documented that there were no issues with it when the organ was removed 33 years ago, so either there was a miracle, thank you God, or this doctor is not very good at what he does. The doctor also recommended no further assessment or treatment for a cyst that was observed, which could very well be true. However, if it has not been biopsied or looked at, how can this doctor make that recommendation without knowing my prior scans? I am sure there are other radiologists, but I would not touch this particular one with a 10-foot pole. because of this, I removed two stars.

Since January of 2024 until currently I have been trying to get this bill for my CT paid for by insurance. I do not know what incompetent people are employed by Arizona Diagnostic Radiology in their billing department but because of their unprofessionalism with not just the initial contact employees but the supervisory staff as well has made me decide to NEVER have a service done at any Arizona Diagnostic Radiology Center. For 6 months I have been calling both them and my insurance company for payment of this bill. I have insurance and for 5 months the idiots at AZ Diagnostic Radiology billing put no notes in my calls, only tried one time to send the bill to my insurance company and basically blamed me for all of the problems with the billing and were rude beyond belief. So I have insurance, I have the paper that shows insurance company approved the CT. I have done everything AZ Diagnostic has advised me to do for the the last 6 months and they sent me to collections. I have a perfect credit score and always pay my bills. They are pathetic and I have absolutely nothing good to say about the billing department. Worst billing department I have ever dealt with. If I could give them a minus I would.

On Jan 17th Insight Imaging insisted that we pay $450.16 for an MRI although I knew it was covered by our insurance. They required this payment before we left the facility or they would not release the results of the MRI. I explained that our copay was $30 for this service but they still insisted that we pay the full amount. In fact the receptionist argued with me and said I just did not know how my insurance worked. Seven days later on 1/24 they were paid in full by my insurance company. My explanation of benefits confirmed that I was right and was only supposed to pay $30.00. Over 2 months later we still had not even been notified by this office that they were overpaid and that we were due a refund of $420.16. It took a call from me (3/20) to question the overpayment to which their reply was that we had a $420.16 credit on our account. This error and over-billing to my Healthcare Flexible Spending Account caused my account to be frozen until the credit is made to my account. Still waiting on this to occur. Again - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - This offices' complete disregard for the patient and simple greed is despicable.
