When you get there, the receptionist check-in people appeared to not want to be there and do not like their job. Valley Radiologists would've received a 5 star rating if it wasn't the wrong address fiasco. I needed an MRI. Scheduling reached out to me very quickly. They also took care of making sure that my prior authorization came through. So far so good. They even booked me for an appointment within the week offering me a 6:45 pm time slot. I was really impressed. The day of the MRI, I called to confirm my appointment and my prior authorization. I asked where my appointment was again, the scheduler told me it was at Valley Radiologists Thunderbird, 5310 W. Thunderbird at 6:45 pm. I got there before 6 pm and the whole building was dark. With a bad back, I walked round and round to find an open door. I even checked the next building. I tried calling to see if anyone could direct me, but all offices were closed. I even checked the Sunwest location across the street. It was closed. I went home dejected and with spurs on my spine, I was really hurting. The next day, I called scheduling and they were super snippy and said that the only place that offered an MRI was the W. Eugie location. However, I got a Saturday morning appointment so I didn't have to wait too long. Redemption! The folks at the Eugie location are fantastic. Check-in was friendly and easy. I was shown a changing room and within 15 minutes, I was ready for my scan. They had decent earplugs and headphones. They give you a panic button but reminded me that if I pressed the button, it canceled the test. I chose the nature sounds soundtrack. I closed my eyes, endured the feelings of claustrophobia and fear of loud noises. I kept focusing on the nature sounds and pictured my students. Yikes! A teacher's work is never done. Anyway, my radiologist was very communicative and let me know how long each segment would take and within 20 minutes, I was done. Hooray. Dirty laundry. When I got back to my dressing room, someone else had left their used gowns. So I picked it up and I dumped my gowns and pants in laundry basket. So, that was my MRI experience at Valley Radiologists. read more

About one year ago I had an MRI done at this location. It was a quick In and Out procedure. The staff was real friendly and I was impressed. Fast forward to an hour ago, I had an appointment scheduled for 3 days from now. I was notified to call this location for some basic questions. Upon speaking to the representative, who I found very condescending, this gentleman grilled me asking the same questions over and over again in which information I had no longer had access to. Mind you I did the same exact thing one year ago without incident. I informed this person I had the same procedure done and nothing has changed from one year ago, he just made the situation more aggravating and trivial for me. read more

I had an appointment at this facility, now called Banner Imaging, on 3-15-24. Appointment was for a bilateral breast MRI with and without contrast. It was terrible. I had to have an IV inserted in my arm. The first technician blew the best candidate vein for the procedure. Then she tried another vein which also was not successful. Then two more technicians came in to try. That was not successful either. There were at least 4 tries with two blown veins. At that I stopped them. I was so incredibly upset because I was hurting from the multiple vein punctures and then my appointment for my MRI as a follow-up for cancer was rescheduled. How incompetent can 3 technicians be? The first technician was the worst. She was so clueless and should have never be allowed to do the procedure. So my appointment was now rescheduled for April 1 and I was told a nurse would be doing the IV insertion. Which I trust will happen. If it doesn't I will choose another facility. read more

Now it is called Banner Imaging. I got there about 20 minutes early. My Dr's office had already sent over all the paperwork including insurance information so my check in took less than 2 minutes. I was the only one in the waiting room which I thought was interesting as mine was a hard to find Saturday appt for my CT Scan. I sat down and by the time I checked in on Yelp I was called back. The two women taking care of me were very patient and went over the whole procedure and answered all my questions. I am claustrophobic and not looking forward to having this machine right in my face but it wasn't nearly as scary as an MRI I had many years ago. They could talk to me from the other side of the wall. The scan was over quickly. On my way out I noticed several people in the waiting room so maybe they were late and I got their place ;) read more

I have had two MRI's here. I always recommend this place. Both times I've gone here, I arrived early and was ushered in earlier than my appointment. The staff is always smiling and joking, which is good, because I typically feel very somber when I go to these sorts of things. This time, I was assigned a friendly, gentle nurse named Josh, I think. He was super nice, and I felt very comforted by his tone and demeanor. Being in the tube is no party, but my ears were covered by high quality headphones, and I was allowed to choose the music. A different nurse with a jovial laugh removed my IV and helped me out. All of the employees had great, positive attitudes, which is remarkable considering the sparseness of work ethic these days. I will keep Valley Radiologists as where I get my MRI's done. read more

I hate spending money on healthcare stuff but this was a necessity. I appreciate Valley Radiologists giving me a great deal to have a CT scan. Their rates were definitely better than others around town. I was greeted by friendly staff who you could tell were passionate about their work there. The lady who helped me with the CT scan was extremely friendly and talked me through the whole thing. I thoroughly appreciate that!!! I got out very quick and it was money well spent. read more

Went to get MRI for lower Lumbar and Cervicle. Completely missed a bone spure near the C2. They stated I did have some issues with my cervicle and lower Lumbar. Forgot the disc's but missed stuff I had previously reported before the accident I was in and can't even drive because of it. Anyways never had any issues when they were Valley Radiology. read more

Before you consider whether your dr is sending you, do your own research. There are plenty of places to have your imaging done but before you go looking please consider my advice, I used to manage a radiology company for much longer than I'd like to admit. I was referred to have several MRI's , they not only had plenty of locations, their staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and competent!! Whew, unfortunately not A lot of places can add all these up to provide a great experience!!! Very simple. I came here for an MRI. I waited 5 minutes at the most. They escorted me back. Put me in the one size fits none scrubbs. Took me in the back room and performed the MRI. Took about 15-20 minutes. Most notably through this whole procedure was the staff was very polite. A good bedside manner goes a long way. read more

I was not a patient here, but I was sent to find a place that could get me in last minute because my regular ob/gyn wanted me to do an additional ultrasound. I went to all the places on the list of providers my Dr. gave me, but they were no help/many didn't care either. Stephanie at the front desk went out of her way to get me in that day. The ultrasound techs also switched patients/traveled to this location to help out with my scheduling problems. I appreciate how these people went out of their way for me, who wasn't even their patient. I will highly recommend them! They were more helpful than my own doctor's office. read more

I had an MRI of my knee at this location. I did not look forward to being in the tube but my concerns were in vain. The staff was friendly and since it was my knee my head stuck out of the tube!! They had me show up 30 minutes early for filling out forms and changing into a gown. I was taken in promptly and the technician told me everything that would happen such as how noisy the machine would be. Wow it was noisy even with headphones on but she talked to me after each test and it went quickly. read more
