The receptionists don't greet, nor do they talk to you about next steps etc. she just asked for my I.D and handed me the paperwork to fill out. I had to ask what would be next. It wasn't until I asked the other receptionist to make sure my insurance is covering. they were STILL checking , my scheduled time was for 3:15 and still running my insurance check. Why isn't this something that could have been done prior to me coming? I waited 50 minutes for them to tell me that they've been on the phone with my insurance and they were giving them the runaround... not sure why, this is the 3rd time they've blamed my insurance. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield... I ended up still having to pay $280 out of pocket. They don't provide any itemized receipt just receipt of payment. Janey was my tech. Very nice and accommodating to my injury and comfort. Complete opposite of the receptionists. She made the quality of care nice. I gave them a better rating for her.

When I got there I told them that my doctor wanted the results immediately and to call him after the MRI. After the MRI was done I told them again my doctor was waiting for the results and they told me the radiologist left and I would have the results on Monday. I should have gone to the emergency room instead of driving an hour to get there. They told me my doctor didn't say it was stat and it was written on the order and they informed them when they made the appointment. Very bad patient care.

Ultrasound Technology is so advanced in comaprison to when I was having my children. At yesterday's U/S, fetal measurements were taken of limbs, brain and all vital organs. Heart blood flow was illustrated with red and blue colors representing venous and arterial blood. This tiny fetus came fully alive on the huge video screen and delighted us for 45 minutes doing summersaults and other baby gymnastics in utereo :). Brandy was the Ultrasound Tech and was very professional, explaining everything in detail. My favorite aspect of this experience was the full set of photos immediately sent to my daughter from the Ultrasound. My daughter loved getting these images to share with family. It was so meaningful and special to learn that my future grandson weighs 1 pound now, hear his heartbeat, and see his development so far. Thank you Valley Prenatal!

Upon arrival, the receptionist was polite but a bit dry, not as welcoming as I've experienced at other locations. The technician who performed my imaging was very kind, friendly, and informative, which I appreciated. However, I was a little taken aback when I entered the exam room and noticed another patient's gown still sitting on the bench -- it made me question whether the rooms are cleaned thoroughly between appointments. Overall, my experience was decent, but I may consider returning to my previous location in the future.

I called to make follow and was told I had a six month appt and rude reception would not listen . i ask to speak with office mgr and the call was disconnected I called back several time and when they picked my call it was disconnected. I filed a complaint with insurance and waiting to hear back. Needless to say Palm Valley Avondale is unprofessional and staff don't give a damn.
