Our favorite was the maple walnut -- it was an excellent recommendation by the lovely woman assisting us! Our daughter loved the strawberry fudge. This shop offers so many more flavors of fudge and other yummy truffles and chocolates. They also sell every kind of candy you can imagine, including old school candy and novelty candy (think scorpion lollipops LOL). Great shop to stop by while visiting Payson. Excellent and kind service. We will absolutely be back again when we visit.

I actually wanted a highlighter for my Bible (yes she had several), but also found some stationary and cards, as well as a beautiful wall plaque. She was so careful in wrapping it to make sure I got it home safely and intact (thank you). She also had a nice assortment of Christian books, Bibles, and gifts. They also offer live music on Friday evenings and have watercolor painting classes. It's a fun shop with lots to see.

Local artists have works for sale. There's a farm stand with fresh produce, bread, and local eggs. They serve excellent quality food, coffees, and although I didn't have one, they even had beer, wine, and cocktails. Unfortunately I live in Goodyear and don't get to Payson nearly as often as I would like, but it's the kind of place I may make a special trip up there for. This is a very real, heartbreaking and difficult journey. Mogollan Treatment Center specifically~LIZ~ has literally been a life line in an ocean of everchanging uncertainty. I do not know how I would have been able to navigate this without her. She is always there to talk, oftentimes for hours, day or night. The obvious dedication and love for her chosen profession is jawdropping for me and so very appreciated. I don't really have the words to adequately describe my appreciation for this unique woman. I am forever grateful for LIZ and the Mogollan Treatment Center for help with the most important journey in my and my child's life. While looking for things to do on vacation in Payne, AZ, we went for a ride to Pine and were…read moresurprised to find a lavender farm in town. The small farm had a small lavender shop with items like t shirts, soaps, and lotions. We bought some honey and cookies. They both have a nice lavender aroma and are tasty. We were very lucky to be able to visit when the plants were blooming and able to enjoy the lavender smell as soon as we walked out of the car. The parking area is small and on a hill next to the road, so be careful when backing up into traffic as you leave.
