While looking for things to do on vacation in Payne, AZ, we went for a ride to Pine and were surprised to find a lavender farm in town. The small farm had a small lavender shop with items like t shirts, soaps, and lotions. We bought some honey and cookies. They both have a nice lavender aroma and are tasty. We were very lucky to be able to visit when the plants were blooming and able to enjoy the lavender smell as soon as we walked out of the car. The parking area is small and on a hill next to the road, so be careful when backing up into traffic as you leave. read more

After seeing an ad for this business in a local brochure and hearing someone talk about it at our resort, we decided to take an unexpected side trip here. We were so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful layout of the farm and fields of lavender. The wind was gently blowing so we got a whiff of the wonderful lavender fragrance during our visit. The cute little store has everything from lotions and potions to candles and oils to lemon lavender pen chocolate chip lavender cookies for sale. Wonderful co-owner was the cashier and she gave us a little bit of brief history after I asked some questions. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area even if you're not, we made an effort to go and so happy we did! read more

We were lucky enough to arrive when some of the lavender was in bloom. That always makes for a more beautiful picture. It's a small shop but packed with everything lavender. Slightly disappointed as I went without knowing exactly what this place entails. I've been to lavender farms in other countries- New Zealand and Greece to name a few. And so my expectations were quite high based on previous experiences. I envisioned strolling through rows and rows of lavender, having seating areas to enjoy the view, and spending a few hours amongst the lavender. That is not what you will get here. This lavender farm is basically a gift shop with an area to view a small amount of lavender plants. They have more behind the house that you can't even see. It's gated off and you're not allowed to walk in the fields. The gift shop is very nice and the ladies working when we went were absolutely lovely! We really enjoyed talking with them. I want to rate this place higher, but there's just not much else to it other than the gift shop. I wish it was more clear ahead of about not being able to go in any of the fields. It's marketed as "visit us at the farm" but really it should be "visit our lavender shop". Plan to spend 20 minutes here- not all day. read more

This is an amazing farm! Although they weren't open for the season we went to the store and bought a lot of things including hand lotion (great for gifts too) cleaning solution and dryer balls that you can put the lavender oil on. It smells heavenly! read more

What an amazing peaceful place! I visited here a few months ago and didn't realize how amazing lavender truly was until I came here. If your close by I 100% recommend taking a quick trip over to this farm and immersing yourself in the many uses of lavender! The workers there were extremely kind and helpful. You can tell they love lavender very much as well and enjoy what they do. Everything was reasonably priced especially considering the concentration of lavender in the products. I loved this place so much I'm trying to grow lavender myself! The only thing I'll say is that parking wasn't the best to find. We had to park a little bit away and walk down. A great stop during your trip to Strawberry-Pine. As others have mentioned its a relatively small farm with a gift shop for local product. The place smells fantastic with all the fresh lavender and scented items in it. We got a couple bath bombs/shower steamers and a lotion. If it wasn't for the PieBar nearby, and a change of scenery, it would have been a waste of gas to drive up from the valley to this place. The lavender patch is very small, and they have it closed off to guests. Every person that stopped asked why they could not walk down the path next to the plants. We all wanted to take pix, but nope. Instead the woman at the counter sounded like a broken recording telling everyone that they can see if there is a tour next time they come up. Um no, none of us are coming back. They just want to charge for it, but allowing people to walk by the garden could have paid off more with social media posts and recommendations. Friendly interactions with the guests would have perhaps led to return visits. The prices are outrageous. Every product is double the price you'd pay anywhere else, at a farmers market, or online. Even their own book that they sell is cheaper on Amazon, and they tack on extra $10 for a signed copy. Hello....you're not a celebrity. Small bundle of not-that-fresh lavender for $20. No thanks. And they didn't have any of the baked goods they promote there for purchase. Don't waste your time. read more

This place is really cute! We came in late March, and they had lots of lavender bushes in the field. It smelled amazing there. The shop has lots of products (shower strangers, muscle rub, soap, lotion, tea, brownie mix, latte mix, etc) it was hard not to purchase them all! I night 2 of their lavender chocolate chip cookies and I'm sad I didn't get more. It's a must visit if you enjoy lavender. read more

I was a little disappointed that the lavender farm was basically a make shift gift shop. They do not allow you to walk about the farm or get close to the growing lavender plants. We spent about 10 minutes there in the gift shop. The little gift shop was packed with amazing lavender products. They had lavender soap, salts, dry lavender etc. pretty much everything you could think of that could contain lavender. The ladies working there were friendly. The prices seemed fair. I was just disappointed we couldn't walk around the farm. It really should be marketed as a lavender gift shop. I've been to some amazing lavender farms so I was disappointed. read more

This little lavender farm and shop was so fun to visit. The lady working there was so helpful and pleasant to share all about the things they do at the farm. Every product is handmade with their lavender oils. They have many different soaps available as welll as a large variety of lavender items. We got the lavender latte and lemonade mix. There are several lavender farms in Arizona, and this one is good, but not our favorite! The surroundings are beautiful but you can't walk through the farm at all, like you can with others. This is the second time we've been here, and both times the service was not the friendliest! The gal seemed bored out of her wits and, definitely not good at responding to questions! Maybe the lavender is a bit too potent, because she yawned when she was helping the customer ahead of us! They do have a lot of stuff! This time we decided to try the bath salts and a shower steamer! We have had the lavender hot chocolate before, and that is delish, and probably one of the most reasonably priced items, as the majority of their stuff is pretty overpriced, compared to another lavender farm that we love in northern Arizona! From my previous purchase, I wasn't a big fan of their lotions and soaps, and their sachets lose their scent quickly compared to others. It is a nice, relaxing stop however in Pine, even if you just come to enjoy the visuals and scents! read more

At age 74, I learned that Lavender is not just a scent or a color. I learned that it is grown as a plant and can be harvested into hanging scent makers for your home. I bought a nice one to hang in my master bedroom clothes closet, just to add a better smell than the must from the shower in the adjoining bathroom. I told my wife we needed that just to be more civilized, and she agreed. I met the owner of the shop and explained how wonderful I considered it and I admired how well she had decorated it and arranged her products for sale. If anyone is ever in Pine, AZ, and just needs a nicely scented little gift shop to wander through, this is the place I recommend for consideration. read more

We stopped by here on the way to hike Fossil Creek and were not disappointed. I wasn't interested in soaps and lotions, but I found lavender chocolate fudge, lavender salt, and lavender hot chocolate. All of which have been great! The store itself was cute and quaint. The gift store is a treasure trove of products with lavender. Never knew how versatile lavender is. It's definitely worth visiting when in Strawberry/Pine. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Such a sweet little spot in Pine, AZ! If you love the relaxing scent of lavender, then this is a must stop when in the area! I believe their hours change seasonally so definitely call before going to confirm that they're open! Harvest is in May/June so if you're in Pine during those months, don't walk, run! We hear that you may even smell it from the highway. The farm itself is pretty small but it's great for photo ops, and the real winner is their shop with all of the lavender products that you could dream of. We purchased lavender honey, lavender cocoa, lavender face mask spray, and pure lavender essential oil. Yum! I haven't tried the honey or cocoa yet but can't wait! All of their products would make wonderful gifts. They also offer private cooking classes (with lavender, of course) for groups of 8. I'd love to do this if we come up with a larger group next time! All in all, totally worth the pop in, whether 10 mins or an hour, it'll just make you happy! read more

I agree with others that the lavender farm is basically a gift shop with some lavender growing in front of the shop. The lavender lemon pepper is delicious, and the lavender shea lip balm is delightful. Rather than waiting to make another trip there, we purchased items online. Unfortunately, the glass bottle burst (unsalvageable) and the lip balm was dry and sticky. That would've been about $20 wasted, and the customer service said that it was due to shipping. I gave them four stars because they could improve their shipping and customer service. read more

Cute little place up in Pine, AZ. You can smell the lavender from the parking lot as you are walking up. We were driving up to Strawberry when we decided to make a quick stop here. This place has lots of history behind it. The original building was built in the late 1800's. They harvest the lavender by using natural creek water from nearby Pine Creek. Pine Creek Lavender Farm sells all types of products and gifts that are made from lavender. This includes soaps, oils, and candles. Of course I had to grab some culinary products like lavender cocoa and salt & pepper. I use that lavender seasoning all the time when cooking chicken and pork. Lavender Farm also offers cooking classes that you can register for. If you are ever in the Pine area, take 30 minutes and make a stop here. read more

I have driven by this Lavender farm many times when I travel to go camping, but today I took the time to stop and visit. Absolutely gorgeous location it's located on the North side of town. The shop smelled so good, it was clean, cute, and organized. Average starting pricing for this store would be roughly $6-50. They had so much to offer, lotions ($12), Lavender soaps starting at $7, merch, and even baking flour and sugar that has natural Lavender in it grown locally. I ended up buying a Lavender massage Rub to help with soreness after the gym. If you ever find yourself driving through Pine I would recommend a pit stop to stop and smell the shop! read more

What a dreamy location for a lavender farm. The history and the story of the past and present owners is just so charming. I made my way (from Scottsdale) out to Pine to adventure through Tonto Natural Bridge State Park and to visit the towns of Pine and Strawberry. What a treat to find the Lavender farm there in Pine, AZ. Beautiful grounds, lavender fields and the most adorable shop with all the lavender goodies. The only thing that may add to this would be a pop up wine store for wine tastings. :) This so reminds me of something you would see in Santa Inez or Sonoma County, CA.
