I went in a few days ago to make sure I wasn't catching whatever is out there right now. I keep hearing about respiratory viruses going around among other things. I've had major allergy attacks several times in the last few weeks, so I just wanted to be sure they weren't morphing into something serious. I walked in around 6:30 pm without an appointment, checked in and the lobby was empty. I waited maybe 15 minutes before I was called to triage. After the MA got my vitals, I was put into the exam room next door. I probably waited 20 more minutes before a lady came in. I can't remember her name but I don't remember if she was an MD, DO or PA. She listened to my lungs, asked me if I was on any prescription medication (which I am), and then suggested I buy a covid test OTC since most insurance companies no longer cover the cost. Patients then get billed $55 if administered here. I didn't bother since I had just done it the weekend before and it was negative. My symptoms have since subsided. I did pay my $35 copay when I checked in, but the lady at the front did not know what my copay was even after I gave her my insurance card. She asked me a second time what my copay normally is, so I told her $35 and that's what I was charged. If I was a dishonest person, I could have told her $10 and she would have charged me that. This leaves me to question how good the care really is here. While I was waiting in the room, I heard someone else come in, and it sounded like I was forgotten about. I had a disappointing experience at this location. The wait was long but I expected that at an urgent care. My intake was done by a medical assistant, and decisions about testing were made based on that conversation before the provider, Christina NP, spoke with me directly. When the provider came in, it was obvious she hated her job by the way she talks to patients. she asked a few brief questions, told me my results were negative, and advised me to follow up with my primary. When I asked about additional testing, I was told it wasn't done based on something I had mentioned earlier to the MA, without any further clarification or discussion. After I followed up again with staff, the provider returned and spoke to me in an extremely confrontational manner, stating she had "specifically asked me" I ultimately had to advocate multiple times to receive appropriate testing. The communication and overall approach felt dismissive and unprofessional. I went home crying. I will be filing a formal complaint. read more

I was just here (literally walking out at 11:36 am) on January 1st, 2026. You can check to see who was working at this time up front. There was a younger woman working the front, not much to say about her. However there was a middle aged woman with almost shoulder length dark hair who was clearly unhappy she had to be there & made sure she made it known. Forgive me if this is not the correct way to address this, but an Asian couple walked in. The woman was so physically ill and was trying to check in for what I heard was a really bad stomach ache. She was advised by the younger woman that she can wait in her car since it would be over an hour & a half wait. She was even told to they'd come get her or give her a call. Now I am severely aware of everything around me so I heard everything that was said. The woman with the dark hair came behind the counter and the younger front desk woman was explaining that she told this sick woman to wait in her car but it looks as if she drove away with the man she was with. Side note, her ID and insurance card were still with the front desk so it's clear she wasn't leaving in general. There was no clarification on whether she can or can not leave the premises during her hour & a half wait in the car. When this irritated, older woman heard that she drove away she said "WHAT, don't check her in then. Wait until she comes back." Then she sighed so loud and said "unbelievable". As if this woman was out of her mind for leaving when she was told she can wait in the car. Now this poor, sick woman has no idea that she isn't checked in and will likely be waiting around for hours. & by the time she finally decides to come check for an update, they will likely make her feel dumb and inform her she's never been checked in to begin with. All because they want to have control over this situation. I got so upset I just left. I can't allow myself to be around people with this horrible kind of energy. With no patience or respect for people who are clearly just sick and need help. I'd look into your employees. I really would. read more

Scheduled appointment online for 10:45am for sore throat issues. Waited 1hr 45min for a PA to see us and spent less than 5min in room to say Strep test was negative that was taken an hour previously and now wants to luggage a flu test. Supposed test takes about 10 minutes to show results. Lets see if it takes another hour to get outta this disappointment of a so called urgent care. Nothing urgent about this place - Banner do better! Hopefully we get out of here while there's still daylight. Should be able to post with zero stars - place is pathetic in Healthcare. read more

Went in first thing in the morning. Got greeted with happy faces and smiles. I got to meet Dr. Wesley and he took the time to talk to me and examine me. first thing in the morning and there weren't alot of people there, I now know is the ideal time. I know it's hit or miss at urgent care, however it was a pleasant experience for a dreading reason. Dr. Wesley double checked everything before discharging me especially who I need to follow up with. I consistently have great experiences here and feel that every provider I've seen here really knows what they're doing and cares. I never wait long at all so I don't know why so many people are complaining about wait times. Went in and Dr. ABDUKKALIQ, DAHAB said I was completely fine after only listening to my symptoms. Said NO when I requested covid and strep tests for my work, refused to even listen to when I was explaining my symptoms just kept saying you're fine, you're fine, you're fine, and sent me home. I went to a different urgent care and ended up having a severe bacterial sinus infection and had to get antibiotics. Banner still then charged me $240 for a 3 minute visit and refusing to do tests and sending me home saying I was fine. When I tried to call and dispute this charge because i was told that refusing me medical service is still a medical service. These people are so amazing and I can't thank them enough for finally taking the time to LISTEN to me and actually offer a solution to an issue I've been having for over 9 months. I've gone to 2 urgent cares, 1 gynecologist, and 1 ER visit and everyone had turned me away and didn't even try to listen to my concerns. I tried one more time at Banner (a place I'd never been before) and the physician and the nurse listened to me so carefully and immediately ran multiple tests on me. Two days later I got my test results back and started my medication and I feel so much better already. So I'm very thankful for the care and compassion the staff showed me. 9 months of pain and they solved my problem. Bless them all read more

They close at 8pm, I'm here at 7:20 and the front desk told me they are no longer seeing patients for the night. Only one other person in the waiting room so they weren't slammed. Maybe they should change their hours instead of having people come WAY before closing only to turn them away. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Do not come here. There is nothing URGENT about this care facility. Appointment was set for 3:00P so we showed up at 2:45P. Did not see a doctor until 4:15P! Mind you, there was only 1 other person in the lobby when we showed up. What would take over an hour to be seen?! This is the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at any urgent care. I had what I thought was an appointment only to find out that "reserving" a spot online really meant nothing. After triage, we waited. And waited. And waited. I asked the front desk person if she knew how much longer and she said no idea. So, I waited some more. I then asked the triage nurse if he knew how much longer it would be and he went off on me. Telling me they were full (not true) and someone would get to me when they could. At that time, the provider came out and started yelling at me telling me I was a bad mother for coming out and asking when would be seen and much more. I cannot even express how appalling my experience was. These providers were horrible. Btw, the provider never saw us. She threw our test results at me as we left. read more

My first time in was not bad at all but the second time I came in with my daughter was horrific. First I scheduled an appointment for a specific time and they still told me there was an hour wait because of an emergency. I get that, that's not why I'm writing this review. The receptionist was training what looks like a new person. The senior worker was rude and interrupted me so much that I could not even get my point across. She's not personable and does not empathize well with others. She lacked emotional intelligence as all I wanted to do was get an understanding. This facility is okay to good if you need a breathing treatment or have something really simple wrong with you. My husband came in with an eye issue. The provider (a PA or FNP, not a doctor) never even examined his eye. With a short interview and a quick visual look at the redness told him to purchase an over the counter eye drop which did not work and the eye got a lot worse. After a followup with his PCP and a referral to an eye center (of which both doctors were shocked that urgent care never even examined his eye) he now has the correct Rx medication to handle the bacterial infection in his eye. (Meibomian gland infection --- the redness, pain, and excessive tearing is a dead give away.) Slit lamp exam???? did they cover that in medical school? Bottom line, if it is something complicated, go to an ER or wait to see your PCP. read more

Again , wanted to give this place a second chance after bad experience I had about 2 years ago since this location is close by my house . The lady behind the desk was really rude, out of no where when I mentioned that my daughter may have fracture or broken arm she said the X-ray tech is not here today , and without me showing any attitude neither any objections she said yes we are human too and we get sick as well . When I was trying to explain that I am understanding and she doesn't have to mention that , she kept talking over me and said come back tomorrow. It's not a car facility , I would a rudehouse. Made an appointment at 2:30 AM for 10:40 AM using the Banner app on my phone to address a sudden onset medical condition. Arrived at the facility 10 min prior to my appointment time and was promptly assisted. The staff was courteous and friendly during my entire visit. The doctor accurately diagnosed my condition and prescribed medication which eased my symptoms. Overall, it was a great interaction. Thanks to the entire staff. read more

I don't normally leave a review but I work for my healthcare insurance company so I know extensively how we work and what is covered. Upon going to the visit, your front desk staff tried to charge me a $75 copay, we literally don't use that copay amount in any plan we have so that's impossible. Furthermore, I have a $0 copay and provided all claims submission information but you just sent me a bill for $271. First of all, I was just seen so no way you've already gone through the claims process with my insurance. Luckily I know you're full of it and I can just submit the bill to my insurance who will actually do their job right. And btw, your provider prescribed me a medication that's been off the market for awhile. So completely useless as a whole. read more

I was staying in the East Valley when I needed immediate medical attention, and since my PC doc is located in the West Valley, I chose to go to this Banner Urgent Care. The front desk, medical staff & PA we're all friendly and professional. My wait time was minimal (but there was only myself and 2 other patients there at the time.) They even called me right after my visit to apologize for not getting one of my prescriptions to me before I left. They immediately called the pharmacy I was at to have them fill my prescription so I wouldn't have to wait longer. Very kind & helpful. Much appreciation! read more

I walked in here in tears because of the physical ailments I've been experiencing and the front desk 'clerk', (Which is a name that gives her job and personality ZERO justice), made everything a million times better . her name is Gladys D., and not only did she make an hour in the waiting room feel like 3 minutes , but she gave me hope in humanity and treated me like a person who mattered...(despite my usual habit of over sharing and talking way too much.). I just wanted to say thank you to not only THIS ENTIRE facility, but to Gladys , for making me realize that I have a lot going for me - pain, or no pain, and that the world does have some good people left roaming inside of it . ;) thanks everyone for a good Urgent care experience. If I could do negative stars, I would. The doctor on staff was extremely rude, listened to my chest (which I'm a severe asthmatic) told me she's not gonna give me anything for my asthma then left. I sat in the waiting room for almost 3 hours for the doctor to do a 5 minute "exam" then hear her talk about me loudly and how I'm not even that sick. Really pisses me off that a doctor can look me in the eye and tell me their not gonna do anything for my asthma. Went here back in October for back pain. They ended up sending me to the ER. The doctor at the urgent care told me that she was going to refund my money since there was nothing they did or could do. They charged me $100 for the visit and they never refunded my money. I went this morning to have them tell me since I'm self pay that the visit was $150. I said their prices had gone up. The lady behind the counter told me no that it's been $150 for the last 2 years. Incorrect again. It's sad. I used to come here whenever I needed to see a doctor. They told us we were on the board for 11:01, called us up to sign a form at 11:08, then informed me it would 2 hrs. At this point we had already waited 35 min. I was clear in requesting what the initial wait times were (as I had four children waiting to be seen) and the front desk admin changed her answer multiple times and seemed completely overwhelmed and confused herself by the schedule! If I could do 0 I would. Only reason I choose this location was bc they had an earlier time than the one I usually go to. I knew as soon as I walked in I made the wrong decision. The check in was ok but I waited 30 mins for my APPOINTMENT I made hours earlier. Then when I was finally called back the NP didn't even spend all of 1-2 minutes with me to tell me she couldn't do anything. I had this same exact thing about 8 months ago and my regular urgent care gave me a shot but this one couldn't do anything but take my money and give less than a poor exam. Everyone there is really nice! There was a bit of a wait till I was seen (an hour and a half, but I was consistently updated about the waiting). Cassie at the front desk, the vitals' nurse, and the doctor all apologized for the wait. I didn't mind waiting because they have free WiFi in the waiting area, so I got some work done. The facility was clean and conveniently located; it took me just a few minutes to get there. All interactions I witnessed with patients were professional and friendly. I hope I don't need urgent care again, but if I do, I'll come here! read more

Terrible!!! Arrived at opening 8:00 AM. 2 people walked in in front of me. Had to check in using tablet we all touched without any sanitizer. Was takin back in about 15 minutes. Was told there was 1 person in front of me. (There had been 2) and I sat in the exam room for AN HOUR before being seen!!! Needless to say I feel miserable with sinus infection.
