DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION !!! I understand the clinic closes at 8pm, I must've got the time wrong because the last one I went to before was 24hrs. I was really really sick . However, my ride was arriving within minutes, and instead of handling the situation professionally, your staff raised their voices at me, spoke to me in an aggressive and demeaning manner, and forced me to leave the building immediately, mind you it was 8pm outside was pitch dark, bunch of homeless people walking around Campbell. I was not disruptive, not refusing to leave, and simply needed a few minutes to safely wait for my ride. Being yelled at and put outside like that was humiliating, unacceptable, and completely inappropriate for a healthcare setting. This interaction escalated to the point that I left in tears. This is not just poor customer service, it reflects a serious failure in basic patient respect, safety, and professionalism. No patient should be treated this way, especially while seeking medical care. I expect this incident to be formally reviewed, including identifying the staff involved, and that appropriate corrective action is taken. I would also like a follow-up response regarding what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen to other patients. Side note: when I mentioned I did not feel safe waiting outside in the pitch dark because I was scared of getting kidnapped , the nurse and doctor started laughing like it was a joke . Excellent visit. Even though the place was packed with people waiting to be seen, it wasn't but a 20 minute wait to be seen. The check in nurse was great. The Doctor was through'll and diagnosed my condition. She completed a referral for an X-ray and sent scripts to my pharmacy. GREAT JOB!!! read more

It was 7:40 on a Friday the 27th of March. My daughter had needed to be seen the open light was off so we called right as we pulled in. The phone was answered and they were open I guess they shut the light off so people will assume it's closed and not go. The lady at the desk with big bangs and red lipstick did not seem empathetic or compassionate about her job. My daughter did not gave her insurance card on her so she could not be seen . The system they have creates hardship and exposes people to viruses of others. I had UTI symptoms, came in to have a urine sample tested. They took my urine sample, checked my vitals but refused to have the provider call me with results and required that I sit in their lobby and in an exam room for over 21/2 hours. My girlfriend and I went in with symptoms of the flu, the lady at the desk and the first nurse were very nice and helped us. When we got to the exam room the nurse practitioner walked in, recorded all our symptoms, and told us he couldn't test for the flu because it had been over 48 hours and it was against company policy, so he prescribed steroids, my girlfriend has heart problems that he knew about so she couldn't take steroids otherwise it could kill or injure her. He then tried prescribing another medication that would negatively react with the other medication she is on and that he was aware she is on. He spent maybe 3 or 4 minutes in the room and kept saying it wasn't the flu and that he physically could not test because it's against company policy. This clinic is a joke, the nurse practitioners don't know what they're doing and can't be bothered to check anything to make sure the medication they're prescribing isn't going to kill someone. Office was friendly and efficient. The provider care was sad and laughable at best. Looked in my ears and throat however didn't do anything beyond less than the bare minimum. Woke up with a massively red, itchy and irritated eye. Didn't even address it. Think the NP spent a total of 2 minutes with me. Imagine allowing a patient wander off with an eye infection. Getting the distinct feeling they have discriminatory notes in my record because I can't imagine why someone wouldn't provide a basic medical exam when someone is presenting with possible flu symptoms or eye infection. My review is based solely on the system they use to schedule "appointments/reservations." I was so frustrated and angry with the false advertising of offering an "appointment/reservation" I left and never met with a doctor. Given the other reviews, look like it was a good call. Around 3PM on a Friday afternoon, I made an appointment for 5:30PM to address a cold/flu symptoms. Arrived at 5:25 to be told it would be a two hour wait. I asked why I made an appointment if I had wait as if I had walked in. The receptionist said it wasn't an "appointment" but a "reservation" (and the difference is???) and that other people had arrived since I made my "reservation" pushing out my time. I felt like I was in the Jerry Seinfeld episode where he tries to rent a car. I selected this place based on the "appointment/reservation" option offered on line. This "option" is a classic bait and switch tactic. Given the other reviews, I am glad I chose not to stay. I won't be using Banner Urgent Care in the future. read more

I cut my hand opening an avocado, damaging nerves, and quickly went to local urgent care, they suggested that I go to banner emergency room to see if I could see a hand specialist. I met a Doctor who was not able to do anything, it didn't warrant stitches so I left and received a $1200 bill. No explanation, my insurance did not cover the visit. read more

Things take time but I am giving 5 today because the receptionist went above and beyond to find my active insurance when I even haven't received the card from my Insurance yet. confirmation of Covid. made an appointment on line. wasn't told that we needed to do a Covid test at home then go to the office with the result. we knew we had Covid the entire family is sick with it.( Doctor confirmed yesterday that our two year has it. Pediatrician did exam and test in office.) Doctor (urgent care) said we looked fine. why was he wearing a mask if we looked and sounded fine? He couldn't diagnose cause we didn't bring in our test to confirm. Online "appointment" at 2:20pm, and took 3 hours to even be brought back. That sat in the room for another 45 minutes. Whoever responds to this, what is the point of an online reservation and check in if it still takes this long? Working in the medical field, everything from in patient to 911 ambulance response. Less than professional care - especially considering their posted mission and values. When prescribing medication, the nurse practitioner did not ask about current medications to ensure there would be no possible interactions. Also found the front desk to be less than helpful when we enquired about the wait time; in fact we heard the staff behind the scenes chatting while a patient had to wait in severe pain. Finally, they sent the prescriptions to our drugstore in three separate batches, making it difficult to pick up the medication in a timely manner. I went there early in January and was treated very nicely and professionally. They didn't ask for my co-pay so I opted to pay for it anyway even though it wasn't coming on up my insurance, they were very kind about it weren' money hungry I will return them because I was treated nicely. There is always a wait in an urgent care because that's the nature of the beast as a nurse I recommend this place. An actual MD saw me out of there within an hour and a half was late for my appointment and they still saw me. There is usually only one medical professional on staff so please remember this and allow them to have their meals. I spent 30 years taking care of y'all without a meal, and I never got paid for it. very efficient and easy scheduling and checkin process. The provider was nice but was not up to date on current best practices. He Cleaned my wound with hydrogen peroxide which has been shown to delay healing and damage healthy tissue and is not recommended as best practice for any type of wound care. Also told me it was "too late for stitches" which per Up To Date guidelines on facial lacerations 24-48 hours post event is considered safe and is not even classified as "delayed". He did a nice job with steri strips although I could have (and did) done that myself at home. The facility was nice and the woman at the front desk was very welcoming. Provider had good rapport and friendly just was not practicing the best medicine. read more

The girl with the reddish light brown hair on 1/28/24 was extremely rude to me from the moment I walked in and claimed that I "threw my insurance card at her" only because it fell behind her computer. She rolled her eyes at me and ran to the back to get her work friend to come bully me, who was this thin Hispanic girl with black hair. Mind you, everyone in the waiting room was shocked by their behavior, jaws dropped. They both yelled at me for no reason and told me to wait for 3 hours, even though I had an appointment at that very moment. The girl with the reddish hair was playing dumb looking down at an insulin bottle twisting it as if she was reading it the whole time I was trying to check in. "ID and insurance?" As she continued to stare and twist an insulin bottle. When I put them on the little box for her to grab they fell behind her computer and that was the first time she lifted her head up to look at me. She rolled her eyes and got up super angry and to grab her work friend came to yell at me "did you just throw your insurance card?!".. look at the cameras and let me know. They then went to the back and started laughing hysterically. As someone who has their primary care provider at Banner, I am absolutely shocked of the way I was treated. Being a nurse myself, I couldn't believe healthcare employees like these exist. It's crazy to me that this place is considered a Banner because this might be the most unprofessional urgently care I've ever stepped into. Never in my life had I been harassed by receptionists, let alone at an urgent care where I am there to be cared for. After 15 minutes of thinking, I left and went to NextCare where they took me in right away and treated me with respect. I am uncomfortable to know that this girl had access to my information as a patient. People like her should NEVER be trusted behind a computer with private patient information. I will never ever step into this place again, and neither will my friends and family after hearing about my experience. The sad part is that my mom was actually the one that encouraged me to check out Banner on this day. Just traveling in Tucson so I had to pay $200 up front. This entitled me to a 2 hour wait, a practitioner that never examined the gouge in my calf let alone clean it or redress it. The one good thing they did was to give me a tetanus shot (done before seeing the practitioner by a nurse). The practitioner then prescribed 2 antibiotics but they never forwarded the prescription to the pharmacy as promised, leaving my wound weeping and not healing overnight. The next morning I checked again at the pharmacy and had to go back and get a paper copy of a prescription and fill it. Better than nothing but not much. And frustrating! read more

Extremely unprofessional. I set an appointment for early morning after an hour they open, appointment was confirmed and everything. My work gave me the day off to get my hand looked at due to pain, got to my appointment at least 20 to 10 minutes early like they wanted me to. 2 minutes before my appointment, they cancel it and said they were closed, but I find that hard to believe considering they helped someone out before me, saw me and walked back inside. Super rude employees. It was unbelievably horrible. A young woman literally pushed me into a room. Slammed the door and told me to wait there because I was trying to let her know that I left my urine sample in the bathroom. And she was allowing another patient to leave their urine sample in the same bathroom so how would they tell them apart? They wouldn't. I would be receiving medication based on who knows who's urine? My dad and I took my sister to an urgent care center after I hit her in the face with a 5-wood the day before Thanksgiving. My whole family still doesn't believe it was an accident, which is partially true, but only because it was actually her fault. My dad made me come with her to urgent care I guess to teach me a lesson or something. They superglued her cut shut. I didn't even know they could do that. It was pretty cool. It wasn't this location or this city, but I did come to this location when my testicle was hurting so bad I almost threw up and they gave me some antibiotics after confirming it wasn't testicular torsion. I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics so I came back and they gave me steroids for the reaction. Oddly enough my dad and stepmom were visiting at the time so I had to show them around town covered in hives and roid-raging pretty hard from the high dose of prednisone I was on. It turned out the pain was something muscular, which I found out after an AGGRESSIVE prostate exam from a urologist elsewhere in town confirmed my prostate was "boggy," which is apparently a completely different issue entirely but at least my nuts were okay. read more

Went in with a broken hip. They were more than just doctors. They xrayed me in the er and helped me out of pain. They scheduled surgery for the next day. The surgeon was very informative with what he had to do. The surgery went well and I only spent 3 days total in the hospital. The care was wonderful and I was set home to recover. I received OT & PT here at home. I was able to walk again in 3 weeks. I went to Banner Urgent care on the advice of my doctor for an X-ray and meds for what was obviously pneumonia. (After both vaccines). I called for an appointment because I was too ill to wait with constant coughing, and was given one a day later, January 12, at 3:30. After a 45 minute wait, I was taken to a room where a nurse took my vitals and I was sent back to the waiting room. Another 45 minutes passed.
