It's not my first time getting a facial so I liked having other experiences to compare this one too. The location is cozy, relaxing music playing, and it felt very clean. You fill out some forms about your skin and your goals for it to help her get an idea of products she'll need to pull, so it's nice and tailored to your wants and needs. My main goal was relaxation but I love that she was able to address my concerns with combination skin and pigmentation issues. You undress to your comfort level and there's a wrap for you to wear as well as a cozy blanket waiting for you. Gloves are worn for universal safety but don't let that weird you out, I didn't find it detracting from the experience at all. I loved that she was soft and gentle, explaining things as she was doing them so you don't get caught off guard but also allowing the silence to get relaxed. I've been to other appointments where you kind of feel like you have to keep up banter and it takes away from the relaxation for someone like me. But here I was actually able to relax which was great. She also gives hand or head massages while some parts of the facial take time to set in which was lovely. I also really appreciated that she talked to me about the products I listed that I use in my own skincare routine because it really shows her knowledge without feeling like she's trying to sell you anything. In the end she asked if I was interested in any of the products used and I did end up getting the exfoliator. After the facial though my face just felt rejuvenated and I was so happy. I'd love to come back again, even at regular price because it's such a great deal.
