Okay wow! After reading the reviews my friend and I were expecting the price to be a little steep since that seemed to be the number 1 complaint however even one Bao is pretty a pretty good portion, stuffed with tasty ingredients and wrapped in a warm steamed Bao bun. The Korean Garlic Chicken was very good and my friend enjoyed her pork belly Bao! We shared the lemonade and it was also very delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice as we sat at the bar stools waiting for our order, they were playing some kpop songs and there was plenty of seating. The service was also nice as the employee was patient with us while we debated what to order and delivered the food to our table even though we ordered take out. Now I'm not saying one of these would fill you up but if you get a "baguette" size I think it would be more worth the price than ordering 2 separately. Definitely would be back to try other flavours as there is a ton to choose from!

Each time I go, I order the wacky tacky chicken with sweet potato fries. The combination of sweet (bun) and spicy (chicken) tingles my senses. Chicken is thick and juicy. Good for clearing out the sinuses. Seating area is rather small but there's a few tables available when the place isn't too busy. Most people come around for take out/pickup. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you're dining in, they'll serve you your food. Wet napkins and utensils are by the cash register.

Here once or twice a week. Food is amazing & always fresh! My favs are Korean Garlic Chicken Bao and Seoul beef Bao.

We got their combo meal - two baos, a side and drink of your choice. The baos are absolute perfection - fluffy Bao buns and filled pretty generously. Service is quick and attentive. I'd definitely return! Priced a bit on the higher side for the size of the Bao - but that's me nitpicking.

Have been wanting to try Boa Buns for a long time, and this place did not disappoint. Loved the soft pillowy homemade boas. Their top sellling boas were Katsu Chicken and Dynasty Duck so these were the ones we had to try. By far, Dynasty Duck with my favourite, seasoned with a tasty hoisin garlic mayo sauce! The Chicken Katsu was good as well and had a slightly sweet/sticky tonkatsu sauce with a hint of spice. There was a good serving of meat and the breading was not heavy. I would go back again to try pork belly. Although I would have loved to give this place a 5-star rating, it was slightly overpriced at approx $14 (before tax ) for lunch, not including sides or beverages.

Ordered their five spice bao and duck dynasty bao. Their five spice bao came with a thick piece of pork belly, while their duck dynasty bao was filled with a generous portion of deliciously flavoured duck chucks. If it was a competition, I'd say the winner would be the duck dynasty bao; better flavouring. The five spice bao was a little blend. In term of the quality of the bao, it was thick but fluffy!

We got the chicken katsu and the great chicken bao. First time trying bao and it was super fire. I forgot to take a photo of the great chicken. The baos were soft and the chicken was full of flavor.

Seoul Kimchi Fries, Spicy Pork Bao & Seoul Beef Bao

    - Seoul Kimchi Fries with Beef: 9/10 It was really yummy but beef on the tougher side. - Spicy Pork Bao: 10/10 Great if you like spicy, and had cucumber in it which was a refreshing to have with the pork. - Seoul Beef Bao: 8/10 Tasted similar to the fries, so preferred the fries more over the Bao, but still yummy. - Lemon Peach Tea: 10/10 So yummy and addicting! On the much sweeter side though! - Awesome customer service, this is our second time visiting so we would definitely come again!

Just WOW. One of the best places I have been in Mississauga. Basically think of them as Bahn Mi Boys but BETTER. Their buns are super soft with a subtle sweetness to it. The filling portion size is huge overflowing the bun. We also got sweet potato fries as a side and it came with a homemade garlic mayo. We tried 4 different baos: - Dynasty Duck - The Catch - Korean Garlic Chicken - Great Chicken Our favourite was The Catch. The fish was crispy and super flavourful. We got some Chipotle Mayo to add on the side and it was amazing! We also got an ice coffee and Thai ice tea for drinks and I have to say the ice coffee was much better. It tasted like an Vietnamese coffee but less strong. I would definitely come back to try the other types of baos!

AMAZING CHICKEN, DONT BUY DRINKS THOUGH! got the bao combo (2 baos of choice + 1 side + 1 drink) with chicken katsu and great chicken bao (totaled $24 incl. tax) all of my friends agreed the chicken katsu was the best thing we had, perfectly crisp and juicy with delicious condiments (garlic mayo + tonkatsu sauce + green onions). the great chicken was good too, but the sauce was very! sweet so if ur not into that maybe not for u! fries were crisp and great. now, onto the drinks: dont waste your money on the cup drinks! i tried the lemon peach tea, very mid 4/10. friend said the iced coffee was pretty bad, and as for the purple drink its completely for looks nothing else. HOWEVER! they have lots of can soda options including arizona tea (much much cheaper too) overall, i highly recommend! some of the best HALAL fried chicken ive had in a very long time, will def go again. service was great and the girl at the front was very nice :)

More like 4.7, I have to ding them a bit because of price but like what's NOT expensive these days, right? I ordered a bao combo which comes with 2 baos, a side and a drink. There's no set price on the combo, as it all depends on what baos, side and drink you get. I would have preferred a set price because by the time I was done picking all I wanted, I was at a hefty $26. =S But whatever, I wanted to try a lot during my first visit, I defs won't be getting a combo again lol. Also to be fair, it was a lot of food for me. I even shared a lot of it with my bf...and it was really good. Anyways, I got a chicken katsu and Seoul beef bao, for my side I got a small Seoul kimchi fries and for my drink I got ice coffee. For your drink, you can choose any drink on their menu basically, so that includes ice coffee, Thai ice tea and lemonades. If I had ordered all these individually, it would have been well over $30, so you do save money with a combo. Everything was really good and full of flavour, so thank god for that lol. The bao was perfectly soft and the chicken and beef were seasoned well. Again, everything was full of flavour. My bf liked everything as well and said he would order all the same things for himself next time. It was all really good. And the fries were crispy and seasoned as well. The ice coffee is pre-made and was just the right amount of sweetness. Overall it was really good and I'm defs coming back. Also, the girl working the front was so sweet and pretty, I had to let her know lol. We also had a nice conversation while I waited. Great food and great service, can't fault them for much. Can't wait to try other things on the menu!

Korean chicken and five spice pork belly baos

Honestly I'm giving this rating based on my to go order. We came in here the other day and ordered the bao combo that came with two baos of your choice, a side, and a drink. Price would depend on the choices you make, so I'm not really sure if there's a real savings there. Anyways we ordered the five spice pork and Korean chicken bao with a small kimchi fries. Unfortunately they ran out of thai milk tea so we opted for the iced coffee. I think in terms of options available in Mississauga this offers some good options for the area. There's plenty of bao options here. They didn't have any duck available when we went which was disappointing since it was one of the ones we wanted to try. For our baos we liked the Korean fried chicken bao more than the five spice pork belly. I personally didn't really enjoy this but it's because I could taste that gaminess of the pork, so I only had one bite. Otherwise i kind of expected more seasoning flavour from it considering its five spice. The Korean chicken was good! The baos we're about $6-7 each if you were looking to order. The iced coffee was on the sweeter side so if you like the comparative taste of an ice Capp you'll enjoy this. Kimchi fries were good. Would love to come back to try the duck, and maybe some other baos if I'm in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way to travel here for a bao though. Would say it's worth checking out.

We got a bunch of dishes to share and overall liked most things but some things (like the oyster) unfortunately didn't hit as well. Wagyu - thin slices but very tender and very flavorful with the cheese - surprised by how well the flavor combo worked out. Tofu - easily one of my fave agedashi tofu. Huge tofu slices with very chewy outer texture, a bit gelatinous . Really went well with the sauce and toppings Carbonara - nice chewy texture to the udon, not too soft and not too firm. The sauce was nice and creamy. Not as truffley as I thought it would be, wish it was a little more but it was still pretty good Oyster - least favorite of all the dishes we got today. It was a bit sour and the cheese felt like it didn't really help the flavor profile of the oysters. It was super oily from the cheese, felt like it was drowning in cheese/oil flavor Cod - it looks good but something is lacking, maybe in taste? Feel like maybe the marinade did not penetrate enough. The texture is still nice and soft , with a crisp skin . Also was a bit too oily for our liking, compared to other miso cod we have had. It was also a relatively smaller piece of cod. Overall, the appetizers were really good! The oyster and cod were a bit disappointing. Would come back for the carbonara and the other appetizers mentioned though!
