This is such a cute spot. Newly opened. I am hoping they do well! The sign on the front is nondescript. I think they need to show it's Korean street food. Once inside and u see the menu you know it's full of good comfort food. BAEGOPA means I'm hungry. And this place specializes in CUPBOP. Korean style rice bowl. They offer a variety of options like Spicy Beef, Sweet Soy Pork, and a Spam Mayo Deopbop. Each bowl typically includes a base of rice, meat, stir-fried kimchi, macaroni salad, and a fried egg on top. Toast: They serve famous Korean street toast, a hearty sandwich. Their Seoul Toast is double-stacked with egg, bacon, cheese, and a mix of sweet and savory. Desserts: Hwachae which is a Korean Fruit punch with real fruit and of course gotta have Bingsu the perfect summer treat. Drinks: To complement the food, they offer a selection of unique beverages in 1 litre MEGA cups!! Yuja (a citrus drink) and Omija . ("five-flavor berry").

Local place on Bayview serving what can be considered Korean street food. Menu consists of rice bowls, cup noodles with toppings and a selection of drinks. The menu is simple with the intent of a a quick meal. You order your food at the counter and take it to one of the tables available. Rice bowls include a 'make your own' idea if you want something different. Prices are reasonable and in keeping with what you would find in similar establishments elsewhere. Service was attentive and food came quickly. Cute spot if you want a quick homey meal.

I happened upon this place as I was in the area and the bright yellow sign drew me in. The place is small but functional and pretty obviously geared towards eat and go and not a full sit down date night place. Upon entering I was pleasantly greeted by the rep and ordered a beef cup bap. This came either spicy or non spicy, a fried sunny side up egg, beef (of course) a pasta salad topping and something I can't quite tell kim chi like. Before leaving I was instructed to make sure to mix everything together for the best taste and while it's not gourmet it definitely fills your tummy and doesn't taste heavy. I also noticed that they have a good challenge! I got to come back and give it a try. All in all I would ot hesitate to come back again for the speed, service and food this place hits it all on the head.

Ordered this on Doordash. It has been on the top of the list of recommended for a bit and it seemed to have good reviews on Doordash. They made the food relatively quickly, no fault of theirs for a longer delivery time. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the ambiance since I didn't pick up the order. The bowl seemed small but it was filling. I got the chicken cupbop. The sauce I chose was soy bulgogi and I asked for a fully cooked egg. They put a message saying it tastes best to be mixed so I did just that. The bottom is plain rice. Then next layer is plain macaroni. On top was the kimchi, cubed chicken breast (I think, didn't look like the dark meat portion like the thigh), egg and a drizzle of the sauce. I had a few bone pieces in the chicken. I was a little confused because I was under the impression that it was macaroni and cheese (from the comments that I was seeing). Maybe I didn't have a lot of sauce. Once I mixed everything in, the kimchi was the strongest in flavour. Overall, more on the bland side for me. I don't seem to see this option on Baegopa's website for the menu. Generally, food delivery apps increase the prices. Overall: 3/5

I didn't have enough cash with me to leave a tip. Well have to go back and make up for that. Good value... great for students. I enjoyed the beef with spicy gochujian. But I would have liked a little more sauce. I wasn't sure I would lie the macaroni but it works. Would have liked some more vegetables. Maybe some carrots and/or bean sprouts. Surprised 1 persons was running the entire place from meal prep to serving and register.

Tried the pork cupbop which was pretty good. It was actually on the sweet side even with the kimchi, so those who prefer a bit of a kick might prefer the spicy pork instead. The toppings go very well together and the portions are actually quite generous. The bowl can definitely serve as a meal and not just a snack. Will be back to try the Seoul Toast and maybe other cupbop flavours.

We ordered the Spicy Beef cupbap at Baegopa. The beef is flavorful and juicy--not dry at all--while the perfectly cooked egg adds a nice richness to the dish. The fried kimchi is excellent, which delivers a satisfying punch of spicy. Beyond the food, the experience is just as enjoyable. There's plenty of seating available, the space is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly friendly and approachable. Definitely a spot worth revisiting to try the other meals on the menu!!

Food is really good! Prices are amazing. Spicy Korea pork is perfect. Great options for dine in or takeout. Highly recommended.

Chicken was so moist and tasty! Probably my new favorite item from here. - Pear Salad: this was okay but nothing special - Flora (Green tea, hibiscus, lychee, rose sugar): would not order this again...very bland and didn't even taste like green tea lol. The only lychee flavour was the one piece of lychee fruit Service was friendly, but nothing special

Our server only came twice, which was when we first arrived and sat down and when we paid for the bill. She actually never came during the whole time we were there and never checked on us. Given the price range of this place, I'm surprised at the lack of and poor service. We waited quite some time before having to wave just a random waitress to come and take our order and we had to keep waving for random servers to help us fill our water and get the menu to order a dessert. We were also there to celebrate a birthday and informed the restaurant about it when we made the reservation. We were told that for birthdays, there's a complimentary dessert or if we order one, they could write "happy birthday" on the plate. After being seated, we reminded our server about this (the one who never showed up until bill time), and not only did we not receive any complimentary anything, but there was no "happy birthday" written on our dessert that we ordered and paid for. I think that is quite unacceptable given what we were told and we also reminded them upon being seated. What kind of service is this? This is pure ignorance of customers' requests and lack of follow through of their own restaurant policy about complimentary dish for birthday celebrations. In terms of food, we ordered the following: Wagyu Beef Siu Mai, Handmade Lobster Wontons, Crispy Broccoli, Crab Truffle Chawanmushi, and Black Sesame & Tofu Baked Alaska. We wanted to get the Shrimp & Scallop Toast but was told that it was not available so that was a bit disappointing too. Overall, all the food tasted pretty good and were aesthetically presentable. However, given the price point, I wouldn't say they tasted exceptionally outstanding. None of them were so special to a point that I'd feel like I must come back for that particular dish again. Overall a mediocre experience with pretty food that tasted decently palatable but with very poor (or lack of) service.

They are known for their chicken curry udon and spicy cream udon. So that was exactly what my friend and I ordered - as well as takoyaki for our appetizer to share. Both udon dishes were absolutely delicious. The chicken curry was very flavourful. There is a creaminess to it, and the curry flavour wasn't too overpowering. The chicken was tender and soft! The spicy cream udon was to die for. It has a very familiar taste to it. They definitely did not cheap out on the seafood (the shrimp and mussels were so tasty)! She proceeded to give the two booths each to a pair of diners who walked in after she turned us down. Just very rigid and hypocritical. I would still come here in the future if a friend really wanted to go, but it wouldn't be my first pick. So many restaurants and anything less than excellent is a no.

Flavours are still good with decent portions. We were checked on several times so service was good. What was a miss was how the food came out of the kitchen.
