I found out that Heartland Centre has an Edo Japan. I love this franchise. It's Canadian and I like the food offerings. It took me nine minutes to drive over to this eatery. It's an amazing elderly italian couple that runs the place , she does the cooking and he works along side in deli with her serving these marvelous veal sandwiches. Food 5/5 let's just start by saying if I could rate it higher then 5 I would it's just that good . First of all it dosnt get more authentic as far a italian veal goes. The bread is the real italian deal , not like the kinda buns you get at Californias , this is real italian loaf crunchy crust on outside and soft on inside, home made style just like mama makes. The veal was tender perfectly cooked not greasy so flavorful I couldn't believe how great the veal tasted with a nice coating of there homemade tomato sauce , I have to say the sauce was just incredible . He also sliced two fresh slices from a big block of provolone cheese , and heated up sandwich in oven to melt the cheese .
