The customer service was friendly and fast. I didn't wait more than 15 minutes to get inside and since I only had a head CT scan done it was roughly pretty quick. The equipment look brand new and the place was clean and well kept. Please Note: I have read all the reviews about the wait times and about staff. To create a solution for the wait times try and get an appointment as earlier as possible I would suggest 7am to avoid the long wait times. They do have multiple rooms with various machines and they do all types of scans like mammograms, CT, MRI, etc. Wear comfortable clothing and no jewelry because any metal they will tell you to take it off unless you have metal in your interior.

During that time, I had to cancel two doctor's appointments because my physician could not review the imaging without the report. Despite making numerous phone calls and even visiting the center in person to request my results, I was repeatedly told to wait. This unnecessary delay caused significant stress and anxiety, especially when dealing with a breast health concern. Patients deserve timely communication and better coordination of care. I hope the center reviews its procedures so that no one else has to experience this level of frustration and worry.

They did have appointments available inside the West Kendall Baptist Hospital Diagnostic Center, but that would've cost me $100 vs. Free. Health insurance companies are scammers and so are hospitals and the way they bill. What they don't tell you is that there is a big difference between the Diagnostic Center inside the hospital vs. the Outpatient Diagnostic Center (usually located inside the Medical Arts Building). With my insurance it costs $0 for imaging services in the Outpatient Diagnostic Center and $100 with the Diagnostic Center inside the hospital. It gets billed as a "hospital service." Imagine that! Sunita, the intake registration clerk was very friendly and overall pleasant. Alexandra the Xray technician was very professional, asked me a few questions before beginning. She made me feel comfortable. They take same day appointments. I was able to get in the same day. Easy process. The only thing is that I was never given a PIN to access. I also found the Pine app to be very convenient for making payments and uploading documents ahead of time. I had two separate appointments, and both went smoothly and efficiently. My first visit was for an ultrasound; I arrived a little early and was seen promptly. My second visit was for an X-ray--I actually showed up an hour early, and they were able to take me in quickly and finish everything fast. Parking at the P1 area is very easy, with plenty of available spaces, which makes the visit even more convenient. The staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful, which made the whole process even better. Overall, a very positive experience!

    Two different occasions.. same horrible experience.. 1st day MRI.. phlebotomist insisting on…read morewanting to put the iv in my hand.. proceeds to say. You need to make it easy for people.. I said no.. my veins on both arms are very much able to be seen.. proceeds to pinch me..can't find the vein.. moves the needle around to the point that I couldn't fully open my arm.. why is she taking out anyone's blood!? 2nd day.. ultra sound... made the trip over there..which is far from my home.. only to be told that it was cancelled.. they call you 60x for the copay.. but they can't call you to let you know it's cancelled!! Horrible service.. no quality care... no empathy.. Baptist has quickly deteriorated.. it's no wonder the majority of the doctors and nurses leave a lot to be desired.. avoid this hospital and its diagnostic centers at all cost

The staff provided outstanding personalized attention, making sure I was comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout the entire process. I would especially like to thank Kristin and Lisbeth for their kindness, professionalism, and warm attitude. They went above and beyond to help me, answered all my questions, and made what could have been a stressful visit feel calm and smooth. Their compassion and dedication truly made a difference.     I was in Florida for an extended stay for medical treatment and my doctor ordered an MRI. I chose…read moreDadeland MRI for its proximity to my hotel. I was able to book an appointment fairly easily and texted over, per the receptionist's directions, the doctor's order, clinic notes, and a photo of my insurance card. My doctor also faxed over his order and clinic notes, which included a report from a previous MRI. I arrived on the day of my appointment and was greeted by Gustavo at the front desk. He just glared at me when I asked if I needed to sign in, then walked away. He came back a few minutes later and told me gruffly that they had "no information" from me and that they couldn't perform the MRI. He said they got no fax from my doctor and whatever I'd texted had never come through (even though I showed him the confirmation on my phone that everything needed was on file). He just kept glaring at me and refused to answer any of my questions. It was downright creepy. I called the main number and spoke to the original receptionist, who was confused, as my file showed all of my paperwork was complete. However, Gustavo would not speak with her. Another woman came around from a back office and said that everything was in order and we could proceed. Odd. I went back and the MRI tech was extremely kind and went over my medical history. However, the radiologist was horrible. He refused to allow me to have a pillow for my knees or lower back, even though I had recently had spinal surgery and am missing parts of lower vertebrae - and despite the fact that my home MRI center always allows this! He was VERY rough with me, grabbing my shoulder and elbow and forcing me down HARD onto the MRI table and also berated me for "not having any prior imaging on file". But I did! I tried to tell him and he just talked over me. He was rough with me when I tried to sit up after the imaging, again grabbing me and yanking me upward, despite my asking him not to. I was in for spinal imaging post-surgery, you'd think this man would know that. He was also VERY short with the tech, who also tried to get him to take his hands off of me. This guy should not be in medicine. The worst was that I sat in the waiting room waiting for my imaging CD to take back to my doctor. I was there for at least 20 minutes when Gustavo stomped in and angrily told me to come back the next day because it would not be ready. I asked if there was a problem and he growled, "come back tomorrow". I reminded him that I had to walk from my hotel and asked if there was any way to have it ready, as promised. He just glared at me. That seems to be his thing - intimidating patients. So I left. I walked all the way back the next morning and the entire office was CLOSED. I called the main number and was told that this office is only open two days a week. If I wanted a copy of my imaging before the weekend, I would have to drive 40 minutes away to another location! I had to hire an Uber to take me down that afternoon and found Gustavo also working that front desk. He handed me the imaging CD, which had been *stapled to the envelope*. Instead of going back and dealing with that terrible man again (while paying for an Uber to wait for me to argue with him while he glared at me), my neurosurgeon actually sat and repaired the chipped portion of the CD in order to see the images. This was a horrific experience from start to finish. Since being diagnosed with spinal cord tumors, I've had a lot of imaging done and have dealt with a lot of medical staff. I have never, EVER been treated so poorly. The only good thing about this center is the sweet receptionist who makes the appointments and the kind tech (who was also berated by that radiologist). Avoid this place at ALL COSTS.

Receptionist at 6:30 also very nice. Radiologists also wonderful. Twice I was told procedure would take 15-20 minutes. I get in, they said they are 35 minutes behind and 70 minutes for my procedures. I can see why the reviews are low. I am so disappointed and not prepared to spend another 70 minutes here. I am missing my therapy appt. Really upsetting when people give incorrect information not knowing and lack of respect for my time. 9/20 Update - radiologist got me in at 7:45 pm so I was so upset that my baby is waiting now another 70 minutes for me. The radiologist apologized and informed the manager for my disappointment. I ended up not getting the MRI because I couldn't be in such a tight place for 70 minutes to scan my back and shoulders. The manager Ana called me the next morning, what a great manager, polite and amazing. She addressed my issues with the wait and recommended their midtown office, they have new and bigger machines. What a great service. It's normal for things to go wrong from time to time, the way we bounce back from them is what matters.
