Traumatizing. My Husband And I went for a blown pecs. They ended up killing him by administering the wrong medicine. We stayed for 4 1/2 days straight. No one would give us or his kids straight answers about his medical condition. We've been slapped with a medical bill high in the thousands. Although, fortunately still alive, their lack of professionalism stopped his heart for 10 whole seconds. He hasn't been able to go back to work and we've received zero answers regarding his swollen pecs. This experience was overall horrifying to watch after I had lost my dad 3 weeks prior. The Hospitalists billing is ridiculous. I keep getting billed hundreds to thousands of dollars that I'm not responsible for. The Sutherland billing company (PaymentsMD) just keep trying to get money from me that I don't owe. Even my insurance company is frustrated by them. If you come here for treatment of any kind you will be forced to deal with the same billing company. I don't know WHY these doctors can't afford their own billing office! read more

Either uneducated or uncaring. Dismissive. Casual. Overall the enterprise seems to be trained to guard against patients. Kind of like airline attendants. The Beast is a sick man. He's battling a terminal illness that doesn't care about geography. It doesn't defer to ratings and reviews or inspections and accreditations. It's sole objective is to lay waste to The Beast. This is his local hospital. Well, it's the one with access to the majority of services that he needs. By that I mean those services exist within the building. Gaining access has proven to be tantamount to running the American Ninja Warrior course with an angry honey badger in your pants. The ER is a breeze if you just break your arm or have a heart attack. Anything more complicated results in a computational malfunction. The ER physicians are not employed by the hospital. They are a contracted group so they're free to do pretty much whatever they want with no oversight and no consequences. Errors do not result in disciplinary action by the hospital and the hospital does not report said errors to any governing body. The hospitalist are, for some unfathomable reason, completely unwilling to include the patient and the patient advocates in the decision making process. We've interacted with many of them and I've come to the conclusion that they've instituted a policy to just ignore any requests for specialty consultation even if the patient is regularly followed by said specialist and is admitted due to said condition. This issue is such a problem that I have had to page them myself which is, apparently, not how things are done in polite physician society. I'm not a physician and I've stopped being polite. The specialists tend to be far less difficult to work with and significantly more competent. They arrive, assess, decide a course of action, and move on. I will say that this whole system would work much better if they all talked with each other. The urologist shows up and asks me what the nephrologist is doing. The nephrologist asks what the gastroenterologist is doing. The cardiologist wants to know if I've talked to the infectious diseases specialist and what he said. Y'all need to have a conversation with each other. I'm feeling like I deserve an honorary MD at this point. The nursing staff is top notch. That's the only thing that keeps this place from becoming a chaotic dumpster fire. These folks are kind and knowledgeable. They advocate and educate. They do the hard, dirty work with grace and compassion. I have never had an issue with the nursing staff. Every one of them has been fantastic. They are patient and persistent and for that I'm grateful. If this review was based solely on the nursing staff, it would be a five star review. Unfortunately, their incredible work gets overshadowed by the hospitalists' arrogance. We've gone through a couple of pretty harrowing incidents that we've been trying to work through here and the administrators seem to have been receptive and willing to work with us. But, again, the hospitalists have been a barrier to progress. We keep trying because we need to be able to trust our local hospital. Right now, we really just don't and that's a problem. We'll keep plugging away, trying to move forward. So, if you have other options, by all means go elsewhere. I'm not sure how much more clearly I can convey that one broken cog in the machine can completely ruin the outcome. The fact that the physician interactions have been so difficult completely negates everything else that shines. Fix that. read more

I came to the hospital in the ambulance around the first of March. I couldn't breathe without my oxygen. The AEE doctor was very knowledgeable. X-rayed my lungs and found that my lung had collapsed. He took me to a room gave me something for pain and something that was like a twilight medicine. It seemed like it only took a minute and he was done. Didn't feel a thing. I stayed at the hospital for a few days then came back home.. the next day I couldn't breathe again and they said my lung collapsed again. They sent one of the pulmonologists in to re do it. Dr Youssef Dairi and he was proceeding to do the procedure to rehang my lung. I asked him if he was going to give me something for pain and he said "it won't hurt" I said I don't want to do it if he's not going to give me anything for pain. He had to cut into my chest with a scalpal and I knew that it was going to hurt but he continued on and ignored me.!! I was afraid. He took the ass xalpel and poked a hole in my chest and it was horrible! I writhed around in the bed and he poked again told me to lie still. But the pain was horrific! I begged the nurse to give me something for pain and he finally gave me something in my IV and the pain went away immediately. I looked at that doctor and said why didn't he didn't do that to begin with. He said nothing. He was very creepy. He finished up and. Left the room without a word and I bitched and bitched at my nurse and they acted like it was something that happened all the time! Crazy! Anyway I went home after a hour a week after and still had problem breathing so I went to University hospital in Louisville . They gave me some antibiotics and kept me a couple of days. Nim all right now. No more dealings with that pulmonologist at Baptist Floyd. Not sure where they got him but he is sadistic. Maybe a killer or something read more

I was in there for four hours and received no care. I have an infected tooth, and I am aware that it cannot be extracted there; I was praying for some pain relief since I have been in absolute agony for 12+ hours straight. However, they only gave me some cotton balls to soak in a solution that made my cheek and throat numb. It did nothing for the pain. There was a middle aged man who was also a patient who was in for a dog bite, sitting up in his hospital bed, chatting and joking with the nurses and patients near him. He received morphine for his pain, while I was literally sobbing and writhing in my bed. That is completely wrong on every level. He drove himself to the hospital as well, which is the reason I assumed I wasn't receiving any medication. You hear stories about how women's pain is completely dismissed and you want to assume it's just horror stories, but it's true. One time I was there for a miscarriage and they left me alone in the hospital room for hours while I screeched and pulled tissue out from between my legs. No pain relief then either. You need more compassionate doctors and nurses. Maybe look at a woman who is crying and can barely speak and give her some help rather than just saying "sorry". ALSO. My hospital bed kept setting off an alarm because my blood pressure was reading 150/100. Not a single soul checked on me. I can't even tell you the number of nurses that walked past me. read more

No place is perfect... Every place can improve.. But these people were very nice while my aunt was in the CUVU... they spoke to her kindly and never acted bothered when asked for help. They often gave me directions to find what I needed and they checked on her very regularly. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. I came there Sunday for a tore muscle and they admitted me in observation foe 5 days. I laid in bed sweating it was so hott, they told me I had a protein blood disease and said I could feel no pain or my ck leavels would get worse. So they put me, an x addict 9. Dilated. 5 MG every 2 hours for 5 days and 1 Norco 10 @ 6 hours for 5 days! After 4 days of being there someone finally listened and got my leg examined and they got me released. Then after all that pain medication they sent me home with none just to detox at home, in pain, with a tore quad. Don't come here! The staff are idiots and don't care... read more

My SO went here in an emergency. The staff made inappropriate and inaccurate comments such as when I went home to get his things telling me he wanted them to give him a shower (untrue) and the morning of his surgery (when taking him back before the time I was told it would be so I could be there) the nurses station told me 'we asked him if you were coming and he said he didn't know' (also untrue). That REALLY upset me as he knew I was coming. They also had his meds wrong and after missing his blood pressure meds were surprised his blood pressure was high and put the responsibility of ensuring he got pain meds in a timely manner on him when he was on morphine and kind of out of it (THEIR responsibility!). After surgery, I waited an hour after he had been moved to recovery with ZERO communication from the surgeon which is unacceptable. I had to hunt someone down and am STILL waiting for communication. They need to let the patients family know how things went and should NOT be leaving them to worry about how it went, if it was successful, and if their loved one is okay. Sending me a generic text 'in recovery' tells me nothing. For all of the money hospitals and doctors make, they need to remember we are their customers and we are why they have a salary. They have a responsibility to provide quality compassionate service. People are not cattle and should not be treated as such. The surgeon came to see us yesterday to schedule his surgery and said he wished he had known sooner that day as he could've gotten him in that day instead of it being put off until the next day. No surprise there. Nothing seems to be done in any way that makes good sense or is in the best interest of the patient. My SO is also diabetic and he was offered sugary fruit juices, potatoes, and cups of fruit that are in syrup. That's not good for a diabetic but I guess they don't care when they can just load them up with an insulin shot later when their blood sugar shoots up (my SO has never had to resort to insulin as his diabetes is normally well managed with other meds). Further more, Covid is still an issue. Social distancing and ensuring people wear masks in the ER waiting area is pretty much nonexistent. We haven't had Covid, we've followed protocols as my SO has autoimmune diseases and a very compromised immune system. I do not appreciate that we were put at risk with many people in the waiting area coughing openly and one person in with the rest of us stating they have Covid. The entire experience can be summed up as 'neglectful'. read more

The WORST hospital ever. This hospital is worst than any horrible hospital in Indianapolis Indiana which is more than 10x bigger than New Albany. Not trying to degrade a small town. I actually had some man named Kevin Wurst...GO FIGURE. I will not address him as doctor. This person actually prescribed me a deadly concoction of medications that will ruin my kidneys & liver. I am in 3rd stage chronic kidney disease with cysts on them & I have Tumors on my liver. I have a host of other major diseases that if given medications that can destroy some of my vital organs, it could land me in the hospital with irreversible damage. This person NEVER asked for a breakdown of my medical history. He only spoke to me for maybe 1 minute, literally and that was just to tell me they cant help dental issues. All hospitals have to investigate dental issues even though they cannot operate on you. he never asked to have me to get an x-ray or CT scan which is what U of L immediately did. I really hope mr. kevin wurst see's this post. I will not give him the respect & dignity of calling him doctor. He clearly did not earn this title. After he made that statement to me that they do not treat dental issues. He nonchalantly walked away & did not come back. This was my 3rd and final visit to this ER. I have complained once which was useless since they all know each other in HR & patient services. when I did complain the rep. said she emphasized with me & she will inform the dr & or I guess the Nurse practitioner & her supervisor. That was not standard nor proper protocol for an institution as such. The last incident was so degrading & she misdiagnosed me ( they said I was perfectly fine). I even contacted the Indiana health department. I then went to U of L where they did a thorough exam and was informed I had LUNG CANCER & I had to have half my lung removed. I only went to floyd hospital because I can actually walk there. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS EMERGENCY ROOM AT FLOYD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL!!! I would highly advise you to do your research on this hospital if you positively have to go. read more

We had an emergency. It wasn't fun, but stuff happens. This place got us what we needed. It was the very definition of okay. Speed was adequate, but not exceptional. Same with the staff, the facility, and nearly everything else. I'm confident there are better options, but this one is close and therefore hard to avoid for those rare emergency situations. read more

This place is a breath of loving air in a country full of the opposite. For well over four years, my back pain was continuous, never stopping, and it wasn't until some smart young specialist at Baptist East did a scan that he revealed to me I had two large kidney stones over 10 centimeters apiece. I had seen quacks in Frankfort (Dicken, Farley), in New Salisbury, and elsewhere, all of whom brushed me off as a future fatality. Baptist East actually has people who want to help. I'm being treated now, and hope to regain my jogging sessions soon, along with other activities. I will, of course, follow instructions, because these people obviously intend to do good. read more

I take care of my mother full time, so we visit this hospital quite frequently for her appointments, ER visits, and a couple of hospital stays that lasted between 3 and 11 days. Every experience wasn't perfect, but overall I'm satisfied with the staff's friendliness, experience, level of attentiveness, and availability when needed. We've had two ER visits and both times the wait times were less than 30 minutes. The crew in the ER area were super kind. They have consistently given my mother great care with patience and kindness. My mother has Alzheimer and they have alway shown compassion and patience with her and her care. Her two extended stays went pretty well. There was an issue that they definitely slacked on, but it was addressed to my satisfaction and although there were opportunities for it to become an issue again, it did not. So that let me know that they made a conscience effort to ensure expectations were met. The nurses, nurses aids, dietary aids, cleaning crew, physical therapists, volunteers, etc. were all great. No matter how much patients they saw or how many hours they've worked, they always gave my mother great attention with a warm smile that often made her smile in return. The Registration process for appointments is efficient and usually doesn't take a long time. If there is a wait then it's always been because there were a lot of people needing to register. A drawback I've experience more than once is the employee working the Registration desk is not always the friendliness. Their lack of soft skills warrants them to not work in this capacity. But the lady I experienced today was stellar. Her name was Kathy and she was incredibly friendly and showed much patience and a personable personality for this position. As a matter of fact, I'm stood apart so much that I'm going to call her manager, Nicole, to tell her how awesome she is. read more

If I could give a negative star rating I would. I had an appointment with a Vascular surgeon. He offered me no help, told me to go back to the hospital in Indianapolis. He finally offered to refer me to another local doctor..his office never did refer me! The worst part of all of this is the price that Baptist health has tried to charge me!!! A 250.00 charge for the doctor spending 5 minutes with me and no follow through on a referral and then a 164.70 charge from Baptist health for the ROOM I WAS SEEN IN!!!!!! So the total bill for a 5 minute visit was 414.70!!!!!! THIS IS HOW BAPTIST HEALTH IS MAKING UP FOR THE DECREASE IN REVENUE...IT'S A RIP OFF...I have several doctors that I see with Baptist health and I love their kindness and help,but Baptist health is stealing from their patients!! I visited baptist health on 9/21. During that day the service was wonderful, there wasn't a point in time I didn't know what I was waiting on. Got in quickly and got out quickly. Except they didn't notify me or explain that the antibiotic I was given through an iv had come from the penicillin family originally. Had no option to turn it down because I didn't know cefdinir was a 3rd generation antibiotic from penicillin. Which I stop breathing when taken (I told my registration nurse my allergies). I wasn't informed until I reached the pharmacy and they said that that medicine they prescribed has had side effects for people who are allergic to penicillin & suggested I also buy Benadryl just in case. I returned 9/27 for abdominal pain because I had one more dose of my medicine and I wasn't feeling well. Swelling in my stomach and still in pain. They did no exam of my abdomen area just my pelvis because I had mentioned before being diagnosed with a uti last week that my family has a history of cysts. But that wasn't my concern my stomach is swelling. So they did an exam this time on my pelvis. Came up with nothing, which I didn't know until the discharged me. I'm still in pain with my stomach swelling and they diagnosed me with difficult or painful urination when I didn't even mention to them it hurt to pee only to poop. I sat in the bed until 7pm when my ultrasound was done to ask a separate nurse 2 hours later if they still want my addition urine sample because the other was inconclusive and I had to use the bathroom. No one came to collect it until 9:40 when I asked the help desk how long does it take to read a ultrasound and if they still needed it my urine sample. A separate medical staff came and got my urine sample separate from my team. I didn't leave until 11pm or speak to anyone from my medical team until 11pm for them to tell me they are sending me home because it's a non emergency but they didn't even exam my stomach. I just left because obviously they haven't listen to my concerns or even my allergies and I'll have my primary care help me. I wouldn't of went to the er but after I explained my symptoms to my primary and I couldn't get a faster appointment date they advised to go to the er. Now all I have is a different antibiotic to take because the infection isn't gone and I'm still in pain and I have to wait until October 5th because I'm not sitting in a er for 7-8 hours for them to not even exam or listen to me properly. read more

I have a huge complaint about the Emergency Room Physicians. Why in the hell does a In- Network hospital that accepts market place plans have contracts with Emergency Room Physicians that do not? I have Ambetter thru the market place. Baptist Floyd is in network, my physicians are all in network ( Dr Eichenberger, Dr Manchi, Dr Riely and Dr Strobel) so when I had an emergency I went to Baptist Floyd! Now I'm being balance billed over 2285 instead of owing my deductible (370.04) There are no signs stating they don't take market place plans. Now if I have another emergency I'm faced with owing another huge bill or going to another hospital that does not know my medical history! read more

For pricing it is horrible. I was charged $13,000 just for a shot (no doctor, no hospital stay, no anesthesia, etc). Called more than once and was told the bill is correct. My portion, after insurance, is almost $3500. Have had another doctor and a paralegal for medical services tell me that this is too high. The paralegal said there have been lawsuits against Baptist Floyd for price gouging (or that was my take on it anyway). Either way --- way TOO high of a fee for a drug that "only" costs $2k! I have to say that after going to these people for on and off about 3 years that in most cases the doctors are pretty good here and the nursing staff about 90 to 95 percent of the time is totally professional. They do have a couple of nurses on the 3rd floor that act as if they don't know exactly what is going on and I was just in there this last fall. One thing I've noticed is that when I went to the ER with a legitimate foot problem that involved a broken toe and abcess that they were on the ball when it came to checking me out and getting me into the ER but also getting me to a room for surgery the next day. It wasn't my hoped for outcome but it was also in that case necessary to take care of the problem. I've been doing much better since the surgery/partial amputation in that my quality of life has improved quite rapidly over the last few months. I could use the toes though but compared to the problems I had for a few years at least things are heading in the right direction. Most of the hospital staff was terrific including several of the doctors that took care of me including Dr. Tayara, Dr. Spires, Dr. Egziabher, etc. They were excellent in getting me back on the road to recovery. The nurses were pretty good too other than one of them that didn't seem to be on the page with the general surgeon and I had to correct her on what was supposed to be done. Other than that in this occasion I simply can't complain about their work. read more

Not a fan!! Rude treatment from charge nurse. Recliner took out of room overnight, explanation was they never had enough they were on order. The nurses were good, but each shift was different. Some went out of their way to help others as little as they could get by with, with it all seeming to be acceptable. No restroom in ICU for family, had to walk all the way out to a general waiting room to use restroom which was untidy and out of paper . On the positive side all doctors were kind and skilled very informative. Probably if possible, I would not choose this facility again. read more

One of the things that makes it a little more difficult for me than most to eat out is that I'm highly allergic to any & all red meat, pork & mushrooms. At just about five hours later I will have a serious allergic reaction to these items. I recently made a mistake.....I missed that sausage was mixed into the dish and forgot what sausage tasted like since its been 20 years since I could eat pork. The red meat & pork issues are due to the result of a tick bite. Yes, this is a real but rare thing that can happen. Shorter version now....I had to go to my local ER at Floyd Memorial Hospital. Allow me say this, my home remedy of prednisone which is a steroid, an EpiPen & a couple of other drugs didn't stop the reaction that can lead to anaphylactic shock. I was moved to the head of the ER line due to severe chest pain, swelling in other portions of my body and after several hours of multiple IV's and a shot or two all was fine. The staff was easy to work with & caring. Lets just say that over the years I've now had "several" visits to this ER to fight this issue and never once have I had a bad experience. These people have taken care of me and sometimes gone above what was expected. read more

I had a 630pm appointment. I had never been there before so I arrived at 600. I spent 20 minutes walking from entrance to entrance, reading signs stating that they were closed due to Covid-19. I did not see a single sign stating where to go as a patient. The main entrance and the emergency entrance are caution taped off. There are more signs saying they are closed. I got in through the little door by the ER entrance after some random people helped me. After 20 minutes in the heat with having drunk no water (for my appointment) for 6 hours, I was upset. I walk in, I said I didn't know where to go what to do. The nurse says, "Stand behind the line." I understand there is a nasty virus out there, but what happened to empathy? There was not a single sign that I saw telling patients where to go. Did I miss them next the huge ones telling me I could not enter there? read more

only giving a 1 since I cannot rate lower. hands down the worst service from the second I walked in until being turned over to collections. first the wait time was incredibly long, the doctor appeared drunk, and the nurse staff was more interested in their dinner plans than assisting any patient. only upon asking to leave was i actually looked at. then it got worse. I received the bill, i requested a fair payment plan and was told that regardless of making payments or not I would be sent to collections in 3 months if it wasn't paid, this bill was not able to be paid in 3 months so to collections I was sent. I went into a diabetic shock and was taken in by ambulance. I had never experienced this, but one slurs their speech and is somewhat incoherent when experiencing this. I cannot believe how RUDELY I was treated. The staff thought I was on drugs and told me I would have to wait in the waiting room like everyone else. I was scared and crying and they actually rolled me out in the waiting room in that condition. A friend came there to check on me and couldn't believe they put me on display like that! Thank God she took me to Clark where I was immediately diagnosed and put on an IV for severe dehydration. I will NEVER go back there. Very rude staff! read more

Nurses unresponsive to calls through the night. When one appeared, she was regarded as a nuisance.Pain was never managed. YOUNG nurses showed complete disdain and lacked compassion. A young nurse entered her room through the night and asked her to stop screaming and crying. She was fearful of retaliation, as she tried her best to be a good patient. She tried to be compliant and cooperative, but that made no difference in how she was treated. Her regular doctor saw her condition the next morning, as he happened to walk by. The ER urology doctor who managed her interfered with her regular doctor's attempt to relieve her severe pain and distress. Her regular doctor wanted to follow-up with a PET scan. The ER Urology doctor cancelled the scan. We never followed up with this barbaric hospital or doctor. She ended up being admitted to another hospital. We received an excellent urologist, great hospital and my Daughter's fear & pain was resolved with professional, compassionate, clear & concise information. Basic supplies were offered and provided at William and Mary Hospital. Floyd Memorial Hospital was a literal nightmare from the doctor to the nurses. Floyd admitted my Daughter for pain management with total face to face lies. Despite pleas to call the doctor, nothing changed. Our family will never return to this hospital. This type of care comes of top level management in the hospital. I would not send a dying dog into Floyd Memorial Hospital. My Daughter is 39 years old and had NEVER had any pain medication. When she actually needed it the most, the Urologist and Floyd Memorial nurses lacked the skill and capacity to deliver basic pain management and quality care for kidney stones. Supplies were nil. I would not send a dying dog to this hospital! After reading about the merger and the CEO's ...decided a formal complaint would be useless. This was the most impressive and caring staff I have ever seen in a hospital. We went to several different areas within one day. I came in with my mother for some extensive tests to be run and we couldn't have asked for better treatment. Wonderful nurses! read more

I decided to review this hospital after I experienced an extremely terrible set of actions done by the doctors on staff at this hospital. My mother had been diagnosed with stage 3b breast cancer when they ran multiple scans on her. She began chemotherapy at the start of early 2012. She was experiencing extreme pain in her bones and the cancer center at Floyd Memorial refused to look into it. After a few months the office called her and basically said "Oops we actually saw possible bone metastasis(bone cancer) but we just never got a chance to tell your doctor about it". She continued to be in extreme pain and they were unwilling to prescribe anything stronger than Lowertab 5/325. I personally have been prescribed much stronger meds before when it involved a kidney stone... Yet with her someone who had possible bone cancer and had nearly terminal breast cancer cant get anything stronger? She would cry all day everyday in excrutiating pain and noone cared to help her at the cancer center office. In late June, 2012 she went to the hospital due to upper back pain that was severe. They inspected her and ran her CBC's and found out her white blood cell count was extremely low. So even after learning that they waited 4-5 hours to admit her to the hospital. When she was finally in her room she spent the next 6 hours begging the nurses to put her bed up because she didnt want to get pneumonia. They didn't listen. Finally, after 6 hours passed and she started having trouble breathing and had all the signs of pneumonia they put her bed up so she could breathe better. Within just a few hours her O2 levels were dropping so they decided they needed to run a bronchioscopy to see what the pnemonia was caused by. Immediatly after this proceedure her breathing worsened to the point they had to sedate her and put her on a ventilator. At this point me and my sister spoke with a social worker who determined that we would share joint next of kin for the medical decisions over her while she was medically sedated. The social worker asked us both whether my mother would ever want a DNR or had one at all. We both told the social worker no that she would never want one and would always want a second chance to live longer if possible. At this point I went home as I had many things going on at the time. After visiting her a few times and a few days passed then we got an update that her conditioned had worsened. The charge nurse and other nurses claimed that none of the doctor knew why. The night before she passed which was July 8th, 2012 me and my sister went and spoke with the charge nurse at the time and requested a change in her medication to reduce the overall blood pressure being low and heart rate problem that had been ongoing. The nurse responded to us with exactly this statement "At this point it doesnt even matter". That of course came as a shock as my sister had been told the opposite by a few of her doctors. On July, 9th, 2012 she coded on her birthday just 5-10 minutes into it. While she was in the Intensive Care Unit, which makes this even worse as the ICU is meant only for patients who may need revival or immediate medical assistance without notice. The same nurse who had said what he did earlier came in and turned off the alarming machines and walked out. He didn't even try to revive her he let her die. ============================================================ Now, after a few weeks I pulled all her medical paperwork the doctor Brian T Heimer who was her primary care doctor over her care while she was hospitalized outright lied in the paperwork. He stated that not only did he supposedly speak with both me AND my sister regarding a Do Not Ressesiate, but that me and her both supposedly had decided that our mother would want one. First and foremost I had only ever spoke with one of her doctors which was the infectious disease specialist. I never once spoke to any other doctor nor did they even speak with me or my sister regarding a DNR in the first place. Second of all me and my sister both knew for a fact we had never ever considered getting a DNR for her. My mother would have never wanted one. To make matters even worse after she passed away and her body was sent to a funeral home one of the very first tests they run is for Staff Infection. She came back positive for it and she didnt have it before she was admitted to the hospital. She contracted it while she was at the hospital, just like how she got pnemonia while at the hospital. The doctors did not document what type of infection caused her to go into septic shock in the first place. They claimed they didnt know what the infection was or how it got there. Obviously this was done this way to protect Brian T Heimer who had lied and let her die in the first place. read more

This hospital is terrible. I went in with gallbladder pain. They stuck me in a room. They said it would be 8 hours until I saw a doctor. By the time a nurse came in the pain had subsided some so I just left. Then, instead of sending me a bill they sent me straight to collections. I just found out, 3 years later. They never called or warned me about this. I got a copy of my credit report and there it was. The collections company never even bothered to try to contact me. Go elsewhere if at all possible. Customer service is awful. I would give zero stars if I could. read more
