It was fairly late on a Thursday evening but not terribly busy. We had the nicest server who shared with us that ownership had recently changed. The overall feel of the place is western themed and a little dated. The tables in the bar area are all high-top which is not comfortable for us, which is why we went to the dining room. The poor man burnt ends are made from leftover prime rib and we're very good. The Hubbs ordered prime rib which was pretty good. The salads are fresh. I got the fish and chips. Plentiful, but definitely from frozen. The house chips were good.

Salad was unique. Celery stick, beats, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, pepper jack cheese cubes. It was fresh and it worked :)

Good prime rib. Quite little spot. I sat in the dinning area. I had the regular cut prime rib with bar-s chips and a salad. Glad I went. I will be back. :)

I have tried several places around town and this place is by far the most bang for the buck. Always friendly staff. Food portions are off the chain. Dont go buy the yelp website as far as if they are open. Call. The garlic sauteed mushrooms and Prime rib are awesome.

Location is out of town a bit with plenty of parking. The staff are great. You can tell this is a locals place by the interaction of the guests. The portions are large and there are plenty of menu options. The steak itself was nothing super special your typical small town steak house fare. Im not a steak house snob by any means its just that the rib eye eye was lacking something tonight. I would like to say that the decor is really cool and the restaurant is very clean.

The bathrooms here are very nice, very clean. I like that the stall doors have a chain attached to a horseshoe as a lock. The toilets are paper towel dispensers are automatic which is nice. One stall is metal and the other has a barn door. Sorry for the low quality photo, it's a screen shot from a video review I was doing. Would use the bathroom here again.

Love the food here! Atmosphere is so Montana. Service is perfect-attentive, but not pestering.

The food was rubbery like microwaved. The steak was salty and overcooked. The waiters was friendly when she was around.

Excellent. However I wanted a prime rib but they had sold out. :(. But my 30 ounce ribeye was everything a guy could ask for.

While I'm usually an old fashioned kind of person, this time I went rogue and ordered the Fireside Chat--a decadent mix of marshmallow‑infused vodka, white chocolate, cream, and chocolate, finished with a toasted marshmallow garnish. Comforting, rich, and just indulgent enough, it paired surprisingly well with the Enbär fries. And let's talk about those fries: bring your appetite. Even the half size could easily feed a table of ravenous folks. They come with two dipping sauces of your choice, and while I felt a little bad neglecting the BBQ sauce, I could not stop going back for the habanero bacon jam. Sweet, spicy, smoky--absolute scene stealer. For dessert (or what technically landed in the dessert slot), I had the Asian salad with chicken, which was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and a nice counterbalance to all the indulgence that came before it. Great drinks, generous portions, and a warm, inviting atmosphere make Enbär a standout. Whether you're fueling up before a game or just settling in for a relaxed night out, this is a spot worth lingering in.

We were told no other tables were available and if I wanted a low top table I should've requested one in the comments when I made the reservation. I didn't see any place for special requests. The manager/owner spoke to us but offered nothing but an "I'm sorry". He could have comped our drinks. The service was rushed. We had our entrees dropped on the table before we finished our salads. The dessert came out before we were done with the entree and the bill came before we were finished with our drinks. The servers didn't know where to deliver the food. The food was decent but not exceptional. Not the special experience I hoped for. The couple next to us were delightful but they too were surprised by the seating at a communal table on a romantic holiday. I will think twice before choosing the EnBar for a special occasion.

I very rarely send a steak back but at $45, I called our server, Korrie, over. She was great. She took it back and I ordered a blue rare filet. That came back perfectly cooked and no fat. My rating of 3 stars was because of the cook. I have ordered the same steak many times and it was always cooked perfectly, thicker, and hardly any fat. I cut 2" of fat off one end, 1" off the other end, and there was fat all around the edges. The cook should have been ashamed to put that steak on a customer's plate. The house rub and cooking of the steak hid the fat from the server. I only found it when I started cutting into it. Will only go there for birthdays when there is a large discount. The acoustics are also terrible.

Do you feel awkward parking at a hotel that looks like a total dump just to go upstairs to this bar? Yes, but you still should. I ended up going on my own, and came back with colleagues the last night of our trip as it's a must stop. As I'm sure we all know, what makes it fun and unique is the dancing Mermaid performances in the pool behind the bar. Such a cool concept to watch them entertain you while you enjoy a good drink. My first time in the bartender was fantastic and giving me all the history of the place, and how the pool used to just be the hotels' actual swimming pool, and guests would swim in it, no Thank you. I ordered the cranberry cherry limeade, not realizing that it was basically a bucket full of booze, equivalent to three drinks (not complaining, just forewarning) also enjoyed chatting with the bartender about how the place is haunted. Definitely gives off that vibe and total dive bar/tiki feel. I'd come back every time I'm in this town or on a road trip. 21+---although they allowed a few families to come in with kids for a minute and get a picture by the mermaids, which I thought was super cool. And yes, you can tip the maids too! I didn't get any food from the restaurant, but I heard from a few it wasn't amazing so I think this is just a dive drinking spot for me.
