We tried this on a weeknight, craving steak. We live nearby and are new to the neighborhood, so we went to try. This place is busy, and rightfully so. It looks like a great steakhouse on the inside, lots of tables and booths for bigger groups. We were sat across from the salad bar, which I won't do again. Too many people standing right beside you, as you're eating. The service and the food were excellent! After looking over all the steaks, it was almost the same price to order the Tomahawk for Two, so we sent for it. We were NOT disappointed! It's a massive 48oz of Bone In Ribeye, and takes about 45 minutes to cook. It's topped with butter, roasted garlic cloves, fresh rosemary, and comes with a cast iron skillet of cooked mushrooms, two salads, and two potatoes. We tried our best to finish it all, but came home with a big to go box. They serve warm bread, beside the salad bar. Whatever you do, don't use your fingers to grab rolls out of the warming drawers. Please. There's a big sign, beside the plates, where the tongs are. The gentleman stocking the salad bar was constantly asking people to use the tongs.

We walked in, around 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night and wasn't sure when they closed, so when I inquired, the hostess said they normally close at 8 pm, however, she said not to worry about closing time and for us to take our time and enjoy dinner. The staff are available until the last patron leaves. Our host took our order and checked on us often. They were out of soup, however, the salad bar was still available. The bread are kept in the oven to keep warm and we were welcome to help ourselves with as many as we plan to have. The gentleman behind the salad bar was very informative and helpful with our selections. When we returned to our table, our host served our drinks and let us know our entree orders have been sent to the kitchen. We ordered Prime Rib steaks so we expected a bit of a wait for our entrees...good food is made with time...especially steaks. I'd be worried if it took a very short time! I ordered medium well with a loaded potato, and my husband ordered a medium rare with sweet potato and pecans. Our steaks may have been switched as mine ended up a little rare and my husbands steak was more cooked. But that was not a big deal, I still enjoyed it even if we could've switched plates. The steak was tender and I didn't need any sauce as the seasoning was perfect! The Sweet Potato with pecans was delicious, and would definitely have that on our next visit.

This place has a salad bar, and a bread drawer. Not the most sanitary set up, as you are handling serving utensils that all the other customers before you have handled. Most restaurants now serve individual salads, and individual servings of bread. Our waitress was great, and took care of us as best she could. Montana Steak House from now on.

They have daily specials which are probably their better deals. Their menu is supposedly being "updated" which includes prices. Also had some issues with their new ordering system so our waitress was messing things up or taking a bit longer than typical. Still found the steaks to be pretty tender. The filet was well seasoned and tender. It wasn't the BEST I've ever had but still good. Ribeye looked yummy as well. Just FYI they add a 3% credit card charge.

I'll be honest, I saw the reviews and was very wary. But I was starving. It had almost been a day since my last full meal and my co-workers and I had been in the car for over four hours. Most restaurants showed that they were closed or still limited to take out only. And there was Cattlemen's right there and yes, the reviews were not great but our options were limited. We entered and were promptly greeted. The interior was fairly basic, nothing to get overly excited about. Social distancing was in full effect and a sign explained parties larger than six could not be seated. We had a party of four so we were good to go. Our waitress was a friendly woman who was getting adjusted to the dinner menu. She apologized but she really had nothing to apologize for as she could provide all the answers we needed. She was great - prompt, responsive, and happy. It was nice. I ordered the steak sandwich while two of my co-workers ordered the special and one ordered the pork chop. The special was a huge slab of beef. 20 ounces of beef is simply too much for anyone person to eat. They ended up taking leftovers. My co-worker who had the pork chop stated it was very good. My steak sandwich wasn't actually a sandwich. It was 8 ounces of delightfully prepared meat with French fries and a slice of thick cut garlic bread. The steak was fantastic - cooked at the right temp, tender, and a titch under seasoned but still very good. The fries were basic. The garlic bread I could have eaten a loaf of. It was fantastic! Crispy, garlicky, and not overly buttered. I loved it! My raspberry Moscow mule was a bit overly sweet and not overly alcoholic which was a bit disappointing but still it is the first cocktail post lockdown! I had a great experience here.

As soon as you enter the place, it is very homey. The hostess was very friendly & sat us down very quick. Ordering food took a bit longer. I included pictures of the endless salad bar. ***You have to grab the bread out of the hot oven yourself.*** But don't take the whole boat, the old man who works there will get angry.. The appetizers came in about 30 minutes. Below avMozzarella sticks & average crab stuffed mushrooms. The food took about 50 minutes to arrive. Baked Mac & Cheese was runny. Make sure to check your steak before eating. Our steaks were all medium rare or rare, when we ordered them medium. The waitress, Evelyn, was very friendly & personal. She cracked jokes with us & overall was one of the best waitresses i've ever had!

While I'm usually an old fashioned kind of person, this time I went rogue and ordered the Fireside Chat--a decadent mix of marshmallow‑infused vodka, white chocolate, cream, and chocolate, finished with a toasted marshmallow garnish. Comforting, rich, and just indulgent enough, it paired surprisingly well with the Enbär fries. And let's talk about those fries: bring your appetite. Even the half size could easily feed a table of ravenous folks. They come with two dipping sauces of your choice, and while I felt a little bad neglecting the BBQ sauce, I could not stop going back for the habanero bacon jam. Sweet, spicy, smoky--absolute scene stealer. For dessert (or what technically landed in the dessert slot), I had the Asian salad with chicken, which was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and a nice counterbalance to all the indulgence that came before it. Great drinks, generous portions, and a warm, inviting atmosphere make Enbär a standout. Whether you're fueling up before a game or just settling in for a relaxed night out, this is a spot worth lingering in.

We were told no other tables were available and if I wanted a low top table I should've requested one in the comments when I made the reservation. I didn't see any place for special requests. The manager/owner spoke to us but offered nothing but an "I'm sorry". He could have comped our drinks. The service was rushed. We had our entrees dropped on the table before we finished our salads. The dessert came out before we were done with the entree and the bill came before we were finished with our drinks. The servers didn't know where to deliver the food. The food was decent but not exceptional. Not the special experience I hoped for. The couple next to us were delightful but they too were surprised by the seating at a communal table on a romantic holiday. I will think twice before choosing the EnBar for a special occasion.

I very rarely send a steak back but at $45, I called our server, Korrie, over. She was great. She took it back and I ordered a blue rare filet. That came back perfectly cooked and no fat. My rating of 3 stars was because of the cook. I have ordered the same steak many times and it was always cooked perfectly, thicker, and hardly any fat. I cut 2" of fat off one end, 1" off the other end, and there was fat all around the edges. The cook should have been ashamed to put that steak on a customer's plate. The house rub and cooking of the steak hid the fat from the server. I only found it when I started cutting into it. Will only go there for birthdays when there is a large discount. The acoustics are also terrible.
