Totally worth the trip. The drinks and vibe alone are spectacular. Easygoing and non pretentious, the charm is off the charts! Service was friendly and welcoming. Some light refurb work was being done when we visited, so we missed the Merfolk, but will be returning one way or another.

This place was featured in GQ some time ago as one of the best bars in the US. Stepping into this bar you will for sure understand why it was featured. This bar stands out for the city of Great Falls and a must stop place if in town. This bar takes you back in time: old school tiki bar that features mermaids. Call to see if mermaids are available if visiting. On a Thursday night they were swimming from 6-10pm. As for drinks: think Tikki drinks. The drinks are sweet but fun. The menu also has beer and wine if tikki drinks are not your thing. Also the menu features a variety of appetizers. This bar is truly a unique experience located within a motel that has maintained is nostalgic vibe!

Very unique establishment. I had the opportunity to visit while in town for a business trip. Was cool to see and interact with the mermaid. Drinks and drink selection was great. A bit smaller than photos make it but they take care of everyone well & quick. The tiki vibe is always fun too!

Interesting. Mermaids appear after 6pm. Parents AND THEIR KIDS show up at 5.45. The good news they're forced out by 8:00. Thank god, I showed up at about 5:00, got seated at the bar, and had three rather warm vodka martinis and an app of coconut shrimp before the show began. Ambiance is funky, but if you did not guess this before arriving, you must have been hiding under a rock. I like a dark bar, and that's what I found, but the crowd turns into a line at Disney World when the Mermaid begins swimming. Arrive early and leave early.

We were looking for a special hangout for a drink before our hotel check-in. What we found was a great bartender, amazing Prime Rib, and Mermaids. We had a fishbowl drink, with fish straws and a large , juicy prime rib dinner that was exactly what we were looking for. The meat was flavorful and respectably tender for prime rib. Aujus and Horsey sauce were a great addition. I also liked the veggies and the mini loaded potato. If you're nearby, it's worth the drive. Early evening was mellow, night time is packed. Added bonus is watching the mermaids swim.

That's supposed to be a mai tai. The other drink is a Pink Flamingo Pina Colada which tasted like dessert.

This is not a tiki bar. This is a bad bar that wants you to think it's a tiki bar. Is it cool looking inside? Yes. Are there "mermaids" swimming behind the bar? Yes. Can they make a mai tai? Absolutely not. They make a drink that they call a mai tai, but this is not that. The Sip n Dip's version has coconut rum, Sailor Jerry spiced rum and I believe orange juice in it, and a few ice cubes, served in a pint glass with an umbrella and a couple of cherries. There is no lime. There is no orgeat. There is no overproof rum. There is no curacao. This was the worst drink, of any drink, that I have ever had. It was disgusting. They are not trying. They do not care. They've probably convinced half of Great Falls that this is a mai tai, which it definitely is not. It was the only cocktail I had there. Other tables had these huge bowls of blue colored drinks that looked awful and sweet. This is a bad bar that should be a GREAT bar. Terribly disappointed in the Sip n Dip.

Third time staying at the hotel. The sip n dip and a wonderful little tiki themed bar inside the O'Haire Motor Inn. Not fancy, just fun. The mermaids are there starting at 6pm. Good food. Good service. Sad to hear that happy hour is no longer.

Food was good, atmosphere was amazing and the drinks kept coming. Only downside was they close at 10pm on a Saturday

Mermaids!!! In Montana!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I have no idea who came up with the brilliant idea but I am glad they did! I was like a kid on Christmas waiting for them! And she did not disappoint! Beautiful and friendly and flirty she was definitely the highlight of our weekend. The atmosphere was fun and inviting and everyone was having a good time. Can't wait to go back ! Drinks were okay, didn't try any of the specialty drinks but they sure looked yummy. The fish and chips were disappointing but my husband's Philly cheesesteak was bomb!

First time in Montana, hubby and I had to go to this Landmark. Such a fun retro tiki bar vibe. Love the mermaids. So glad they are keeping places like this alive. The motel is still going thru a 'retrovation'. Good beverages and food. Ambiance is Priceless.

Would have been way cooler without the creepy guy at the bar. I flew to great falls specifically to come see the mermaids at Sip n' Dip. The mermaid we saw was an amazing athlete and performer. I am very upset that my experience was ruined by this 80 yr old man staring and winking at me for over 30 minutes. I asked him politely to stop several times. I told the folks at the front desk and I do hope they have someone talk to this patron, who seems to be a regular.

We are on the road a LOT! This is totally a 5 star stay at the Sip n Dip Inn. Super retro and extremely clean. It was a blast to stay at. The tiki bar was so much fun. It's classic early 50,60 tiki bar flare and the mermaid show from the pool that you can watch from inside of the bar so much fun. This place is a must stay great food wonderful time I can't say enough good things about this place

Ask the Community - Sip 'n Dip Lounge

What are the hours of the kitchen?

The Slip and Dip has no restaurant. You can order from Clark and Louie's Sunday-Thursday 7am- 9pm and Friday-Saturday 7 am- 10 pm. You receive separate bills, although the bar and restaurant are in the same building.

When is the best night to go? do they have karoke nights , if so when?

I'm sure the weekends are best but we went on a weekday during happy hour and that was fun. Not sure about karaoke though, they have their own lounge singer Piano Pat :)

While I'm usually an old fashioned kind of person, this time I went rogue and ordered the Fireside Chat--a decadent mix of marshmallow‑infused vodka, white chocolate, cream, and chocolate, finished with a toasted marshmallow garnish. Comforting, rich, and just indulgent enough, it paired surprisingly well with the Enbär fries. And let's talk about those fries: bring your appetite. Even the half size could easily feed a table of ravenous folks. They come with two dipping sauces of your choice, and while I felt a little bad neglecting the BBQ sauce, I could not stop going back for the habanero bacon jam. Sweet, spicy, smoky--absolute scene stealer. For dessert (or what technically landed in the dessert slot), I had the Asian salad with chicken, which was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and a nice counterbalance to all the indulgence that came before it. Great drinks, generous portions, and a warm, inviting atmosphere make Enbär a standout. Whether you're fueling up before a game or just settling in for a relaxed night out, this is a spot worth lingering in.

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers, the service was slow, the food wasn't great, the drinks were tasty. The pork belly appetizer wasn't cooked as it should be and tasted old. The waitress was friendly but we didn't get our drinks until after the food arrived. Something about they ran out of Malibu and had to wait for a manager to unlock where another bottle was stored? We decided to sit on the patio but once seated we noticed it was not maintained and was dirty. If you are going to have an outdoor patio you really need to keep it clean, wash off the cobwebs, wash the windows, clean the gutter that runs along the street. Summer is short in Montana and if a business is lucky enough to have one of the sidewalk patios they should a least maintain what they have.
